Best Opuwa hotelsShow all
Opuwo Country Hotel is located in Opuwo. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Excellent service - very friendly and competent staff. Good location with great views to the northwest. Easy access to Opuwo on the other side of the hill. Extremely good buffet dinner - especially the game.
Cons: Nothing, I would like to return sometime.
Pros: The main building is an amazing thatch roof structure and the view from the swimming pool area is incredible. Room was comfortable. Friendly staff. Food was good.
Cons: Rooms with large sliding doors as the only access to room meant that curtains had to be kept close to prevent neighbors entering or leaving their rooms from looking into your room. Waste of a nice view!
Pros: Good swimmingpool
Cons: The village is nog so clean in comparison with the rest of Namibia
Pros: Very nice pool. Very tasteful dinner buffet. Very friendly staff.
Cons: The hotel manager did not bother to talk to her guests, or even greet them. Hotel is signposted from the main road, fortunately, because the access road is in a very poor condition and you would discard it if it were not for the signs.
Pros: Beautiful view
Cons: No WiFi inside the room
Pros: Unexpected quite a fabolous place just out of the noisy city. The view was astonishing. I think they have the best swimming pool in Namibia. Great place where to relax and rest after few days of camps.
Cons: Staff was nice and friendly but need to be more skilled. I would personally appreciate some good quality bath products (shampoo, shower gel) considering the high standards of the lodge.
Pros: Everything was absolutely perfect. Amazing dinner- best one we get during our 3 weeks in Namibia.
Pros: Great view. Nice swimming pool. Although it is really cold.
Cons: The hotel is very expensive for what you are receiving. Breakfast are poor. Nothing special in the rooms. The staff is not the most welcome we have met. As there is no real other choice for hotels in this area they are charching you as much as they can.
Pros: Great location with nice view over the hills. Great pool.
Cons: Hotel still is under construction in some areas. Quality of food could be considerably improved. No family rooms available.
Pros: The view
Cons: The food was nothing special given the price paid while food in Namibia is just stunning. Internet wasn’t working and often having the impression to disturb the staff.
You'll be near the airport with a stay at Hotel Pension Le Manoir in Opuwo. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Sia on reception, delightful
Cons: Not sure
Pros: Nice and quite building
Cons: No wifi, no restaurant
Pros: Very warm welcome, very nice place. Food was very good. The owner was very friendly. I will try to come again.
Pros: The girls at the reception are really nice. The owner is a good chef. The location is really good if you want to visit the Himba. They also have a guide trip that will take you to visit a Himba village! :)
Pros: This place was very good. I was travelling with 3 friends and there was enough room for all of us. The beds were comfortable and the food delicious. On top of that, the staff working there was very nice to us, specially Monica. We did a tour with her to a Himba village and she also helped us to a find a garage to repair a flat tyre.
Pros: Host is fascinating and has lot of stories to tell. Good tips for exploring the region
Cons: Would be good to provide soap in bathroom for the price charged
Pros: Monica is a great guide and a great owner of this guesthouse. Basic services but I think Le Manoir is a good choice for Epuwo. It's 8 km far from the coty but believe me it's better not to stay in town.
Cons: No wifi
Pros: A warm welcome from Monica who was attentive and informative. Delicious dinner cooked by Jacky. Quiet. Best place to stay in Opuwa.
Pros: The black ladies
Cons: The chief himself. No water supply because the chief did mot liked his guests!!!!!!
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff. Tranquil internal courtyard
