Pros: Everything was just Perfect! Beautiful room, Great and lovely host, delicious breakfast with a wonderful view! More than recommendable!
Pros: -Very Nice and friendly staff. -Good view. -Good service.
Cons: - The way to the hotel is up hill and a bit challenge. - A little bit far from the lavender field in Valensole.
Pros: Great Breakfast, very nice atmosphere, very clean, very friendly host. I would definitely book there again!
Pros: We absolutely loved this accommodation. Everything was perfectly clean and prepared. Beautiful house with beautiful neighborhood, full of olive trees. Hélène was so neat and prepared us great breakfast.
Pros: The place where we stayed could be described by french "trés jolie". It is as a hidden gem within the surrounded nature. A very nice owner who was so kind to us. Nice location, beautiful garden, pretty house with swimming pool, lovely breakfast - we would like to come back and stay for longer there!!!
Pros: Beautiful setting. Sympatique hostess. Nice breakfast in room. Good location on our way back to Paris from Provence
Cons: Plug for bathtub needs to be repaired
Pros: Amazing location with beautiful views and quiet. Helene was amazing, so warm and caring, her breakfast was just excellent, fresh croissants and bread, yogurt and eggs done any way you want, plus all this served in the room! We were spoilt. For our first night, we arrived too late for dinner reservation and were tired out from the hours of driving but Helene was so kind to give us a box of cookies to tide us over. It was our first time in luberon, and Helene was very helpful on advising us where to go and what to see. The highlight of our trip was being allowed to help harvest the olives, at least for me while my poor exhausted hubby napped in the sun! Gorgeous way to relax in the sun after all the stress of working too hard! And I enjoyed chatting and learning something new. Provence is wonderful to visit without the crowd of the summer tourists, both on the roads and at the tourist spots. I loved all the quaint little villages on the hills and can imagine how beautiful the lavendar fields must be in summer. But the snow capped mountains more than made up for this. We did not manage to see everything so we will be back. It was too short a stay, but was perfect in every way possible, thanks to Helene! And of course to go shopping again at Collines for fragrant soaps and perfume, another great recommendation from our host! Location wise, this was perfect, easy to access the gorge de verdon and the rest of luberon, if only we had more time. ....our room was very spacious and looked just like in the photos, towels were super soft and the bed comfortable. This is one of the best places we have stayed.
Pros: Great, extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped apartment located on the hill with nice view. Peace and quiet, we're happy that we spent 4 nights in this lovely place. Hosts are very kind and helpful, French breakfast is served outdoor, we could feel like we were alone in the property.
Pros: Beautiful small private house with pool. Stunning view over the hills. Extremely clean and personal interior. Breakfast served by the super kind and helpfull hosts, outside by the pool. Go there!
Cons: Closest restaurant was about 15min drive, but no real issue.
Pros: Simply wonderful. Stunning views, excellent host, comfortable and beautiful rooms. Plus it’s super dog friendly
With a stay at LEscapade Capellane in Volx, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Les Vannades and Notre-Dame de Romigier. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access and multilingual staff.
Pros: Big rooms and bathrooms. Quaint and authentic accomodations.
Cons: No on site parking despite what the description says. Why does no place in France have air conditioning? It's over 90 in the summer!
Pros: Wonderful location, beautiful view from the window
Pros: Isabelle and Claude invited us to have dinner with them which was delicious (they had gone out of their way to try a vegetarian menu for us) and they were delightful company. We had such a lovely evening, played cards. They were so kind, funny, interesting and welcoming - it was a really unique experience. The room was very comfortable. And in the morning we sat down and had breakfast with them and had freshly made pancakes and homemade jam. They gave us lots of time and were happy to chat. I recommend going out of your way to come and stay here.
Pros: Claude and Isabelle are very nice hosts! Friendly and helpful! We had a dinner together and even though there’s some language barrier, but we still enjoy the southern France hospitality!
Cons: It’s a bit warm for a hot summer without fan.
Pros: Isabel and Claude was wonderfull hostes .Many thanks for everything : dinner, time spent together , breakfast and infos.
Pros: Large room in lovely building. Breakfast from homemade product was surprisingly delicious. Hosts were nice and helpful to suggest about travelling.
Pros: The owner is nice and we liked her little dog. The property is very authentic Provence. Its off the beaten path. Near lots of hiking trails and little roads for biking.
Cons: When we arrived the owner had been called away and the women who checked us in was unable to answer any of our questions. It was a little unsettling. Fortunately I speak French. The room was very musty and hadn't been aired out in preparation for our stay. It was a nice room and bath. The window gave right on to a common area so not as private. There was a pool though it was marked private so it was never clear if we could use it. For breakfast there wasn't enough room at the communal table for us so we ate breakfast on the patio each day which was fine but a bit chilly. Odd that there wasn't a dining space large enough to accommodate all the guests.
Located in Oraison, LOGIS La Grande Bastide is within a 15-minute drive of Verdon Regional Natural Park and Lavender Fields. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location was quiet, dinner and breakfast very good and the pool relaxing.
Pros: Nice area with swimming pool outside
Cons: Small room with hardly any light. Wifi did not work and was not safe. They tried to charge us for breakfast 2 x 6 days even if we told them when checking in that we wouldn't have breakfast. When we booked through booking.com we had a paper that said VATwas included in the final amount. They said it wasn't and charged us more. They didn't speak one word of English.
Pros: It is in quiet location outside of the town, hotel is surrounded by quite big garden.
Cons: We booked hotel with air-condition however it was present only in one room, second one was hot like hell with no chance to open window due to noise from parking. Breakfast was really simple (12EUR per person for baguette and coffee?). And in the end we found that hotel charged significantly more money than we expected based on booking.com rate.
Pros: Pool, food was awesom!!! thd best eaten in France!
Cons: Sound insulation, we heared every other guest opdning and closing the door
