Pros: Bed was good, room and bathroom were clean but roofgarden very sandy.
Cons: Breakfast was good but expected more variety for this amount.
Pros: I visited Orba in September with my brother and our wives to see my cousin who lives there. We were not sure what to expect but the Hotel beat our expectations. It is ideally situated in the centre of the town. There are only 5 rooms but they are modern, comfortable and clean. The property has recently been turned into a hotel and refurbished to a high standard. Ruben, the owner, was very professional and friendly. He served our continental breakfasts, which were lovely, and was proud of his use of fresh local produce. There is a rooftop terrace with a hot tub and an honesty bar which is a nice touch. I would strongly recommend Mardenit to any visitors to Orba or the surrounding area and hope to return soon.
Pros: The host was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. Really welcoming and would return. Breakfast was traditional which made a welcome change and added to the ambiance of this fantastic modern hotel.
Pros: You simply could not ask for better. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming, the hotel is immaculate, the location is perfect and the food was delicious. Thoroughly recommended. 10/10. Look forward to returning at some point soon. Thanks again Ruben for your hospitality.
Pros: Bed very comfortable. Facilities clean and tranquil.
Cons: Photos were misleading so expected a bigger room with a balcony that we could sit on. Must have missed the small print as the room was very, very small with no outside space - Juliet balcony on. Didn’t unpack as not enough room to do so. No drawers just one hanging rail. Thought it was expensive for the room size and no outside space to sit and enjoy a drink or the sun.
Pros: Nice and clean room, mordernly decorated and spacious. Charming and quite village in the mountains. Every day a different breakfast, support by very friendly host and owned by someone with a vision
Cons: Nothing really, don’t forget to explain how the door key works to get out of the building
Pros: Great experience! Super helpful and friendly hosts, delicious breakfast freshly made from local and fresh ingridience. Impeccably clean rooms. Every little detail is thought through in this lovely hotel. Would recommend it any time!
Pros: We liked everything about this property, really nice, friendly staff, lovely breakfast each day.
Pros: Lovely property, really well cared for by Ruben and Magda. Breakfast on the terrace was gorgeous with lots of lovely fresh local produce. Would love to visit again.

Gandía is 28 km from Casa Alestelou, while Calpe is 26 km away. The nearest airport is Alicante Airport, 105 km from the accommodation.
Pros: We couldn’t recommend Casa Alestelou enough - it was simply perfect. We were given a warm and friendly welcome from Betina & Phillipe who went out of their way to help us with our car problems en-route to checking in. From the moment we met them to checking out, they looked after us and ensured we had a great stay. We loved everything about Casa Alestelou and couldn’t fault a thing, the homemade breakfasts, the pool and outside chilling areas, the beautiful decor, the cleanliness and the spectacular views - it was simply incredible. A convenient location, just 1 hr 15 mins to Alicante airport and 25 minutes to coastal villages such as Dénia. A couple of little restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a traditional Spanish village, away from the typical tourist resorts and attractions. A big thank you to the best hosts we’ve ever had!
Pros: Lovely welcome, great selection for breakfast. Spacious room and bathroom. Very clean throughout, good wifi. In a village so some ‘normal’ noise, cars etc. But overall very tranquil. Loved the pool area.
Pros: Comfortable, clean, no noise around. 10/10
Cons: Nothing! Everything was perfect, the breakfast, just delicious!!
Pros: I was given a warm welcome by Bettina, my hostess, and my room was large and comfortable with a air conditioning unit. Home made breakfast was excellent and set me up for dinner with friends in the evening. Tormos is near Orba and 20 minutes from Denia so a very convenient location. The large garden contained a large pool also surplus to my requirements in November!
Cons: All was excellent
Pros: Tormos is a charming village with beautiful old buildings and surrounded by countryside. I enjoyed walking in the area and it was conveniently located, close to Orba (20 minute walk or 5 minute drive) and Benimelli (10 min drive). The hosts are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. It was great to also have my own access to a small kitchen.
Cons: There is some noise at night, due to Spanish village church bells, which is normal in every Spanish village.
Pros: Lovely little property in the Village of Tormos. Beautifully restored with sympathy and taste. Bettina was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. This property is run by a lovely couple who made our stay lovely and run a small little establishment how in my opinion should be run. Thanks Bettina and Phillipe.
