Pros: Location to the Bungle Bungles was great. The safari tents were comfortable with plenty of room. Buffet tent was great. Bar facilities avail from 6-8pm which was a nice surprise
Cons: The shower block has toilets included in the showers so at peak times just to go to the toilet or brush your teeth proves to be a mission plus at times there are not enough showers to service the ratio of people ... long lines .. long waits. Probably value for money safari tents should be powered sites or at least a light not full power
Pros: Without doubt the warm welcome and fabulous friendly and caring staff were the highlight of our stay. (Thanks Lorraine) We visited early in the season. We had 2 delicious evening meals enjoyed alongside the staff. A real home-cooked friendly atmosphere. (Thanks Mary) and Red for the breakfast.
Cons: Overpriced. Dinner on first night was way below standard due to staff shortages.
Pros: Being in the outback.
Cons: Found the accommodation was not worth the money we paid. The road into the bungle bungles is a very uncomfortable 1.5 hour drive even with a 4WD. The name on Booking.com and the name of the actual caravan park is slightly different. Probably wouldn’t stay more than the one night we did. Unfortunately slightly disappointed.
Pros: Safari tents were fairly comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Gave us ice for our freezer bag (no electricity in the tents).
Cons: When you’ve booked ahead it would be good if the outer flaps of the tent were opened and the tent would be a bit cooler. It’s very hot there and there’s no shade (that’s the environment not the fault of the Park).
Pros: Location, day tour to Bungle Bungle
Cons: No kettle, no aircon in the tents.
Pros: Open fire and communal dining area
Pros: Hearty and generous
Cons: The property is very isolated but given it has been going about 10 years we expected facilities to be better established. There are no permanent buildings on site. We stayed in a Glamping tent with en-suite but didn’t think it was anywhere near value for money.
Pros: The safari tents were as clean and tidy as possible. The staff were all very nice and accommodating.
Cons: In comparison to other safari tents that I have stayed in these are somewhat lacking. They are placed near the road entering the caravan park and are very dusty. There is no fan or esky with ice like I have had elsewhere. For the price you pay I could not recommend this accommodation at all. We even had to ask for soap for our shower. The dinners that we payed for at night we sub standard, the food was poor.
