Location was great, lots to do in walking distance. Short drive to parks.
No cell phone or internet connection, dirty, no hot water, TV barely worked and no remote, no blankets on bed just thicker sheet, breakfast was just bread to make toast
The beds l
The water from the tub ain't go down n the water hoose ain't work
Never got towels
Poor maid service. Never received fresh towels. Only made up the beds and emptied garbage.
The pool was awesome!
The TV wouldn't turn off, you had to go get towels constantly, and the wifi was the worst part. We stayed there thinking we'd have wifi in our room, but we didn't.
A different resort
Rude. Dirty. No organization.
Bait and switched from a confirmed and paid room with a king size bed, and received a room with two doubles. The front desk didn't even tell me at the time of check in, so it was quite a surprise. In today's technological times of real time or short time data feeds, inventory controls, and automated communication, the hotel had five days before I arrived to notify me that they would not be able to provide the room I paid for. However, after my conversation with Hotels.com customer service, my cancellation came through to their system in about five minutes. The bathroom was deplorable, the toilet bowl having a black, permanent ring around it, and the hotel's overall condition is almost horrible. The walls are paper thin, the mattresses would tip if sat on the edge, and the overall accommodations are just cheap. I agree with another reviewer that this hotel is an old, deteriorating hovel. I don't see how it gets a 2.5 star rating unless its location rating must raise the average of the other poor ratings. I had to be relocated to another hotel, because they could not provide what I paid and was confirmed for, and I will not give my business to such an operation and conditions. There are other 2.5 star hotels or better, with better operations, that are available, and after this experience, I can guarantee spending even an additional ten dollars a night for a better hotel is well worth it.
The location is awesome. Breakfast pastries were pretty good. Bed was super comfy. In room fridge was nice. Good cultural diversity.
landscaping was trash. wallpaper peeling off walls. stained carpet.
The price is hard to beat and location is pretty good.
They said they didn't have any rooms left even though I had a reservation from months ago. They were working to get me set up at another hotel and then she said they had a room they were using for something else and now it was available. It is very run down and not very clean. The beds don't have any mattress protection under the sheets and the bottom flat sheet works itself loose at night to expose the mattress. We also had the cleaner of the 2 rooms that business partner had.
The front desk needs more training on customer service. Could not Believe you had to wait until EXACTLY 4:00 to check in. I know there were rooms ready before that. They were not to friendly about that
Pool was closed, dirty smelly rooms, and a ride staff. The "breakfast" was also and insult to humans. Never, never, again!!!!!!!!
The overbooked and once we got there, they said my group along with everyone else in the lobby had to go to another hotel because they were at capacity. It was the most horrible experience. We reserved weeks ago and they still left is with no room. All hotels in the are has no vacancy. This hotel ruined our trip.
Deteriorating hovel. Cheapest place around, and you get what you pay for. No blankets on the beds. I asked for two, they said they would deliver and did not. People who stay there are 20-year-olds from Latin America who make plenty of noise at night. You are fortunate if the elevator works, but even if it does the lights are out so you don't know what floor you are on. Make sure you get a receipt from the front desk; this is the kind of place that will cheat you at any opportunity. Never again.
WORSE HOTEL EVER!!! DO NOT RENT HERE. WE HAD RENTED 2 BEDROOMS PAID INFULL, WE GET THERE AT 11 PM DIDNT GET THE BEDROOM TILL 2 AM BECAUSE THEY DIDNT SAVE THE OTHER ROOM. AFTER GETTING THE ROOM THEY NEEDED MY CREDIT CARD TO PUT ON HOLD AND THEY CHARGED ME $180, WHEN I GO BACK TO ASK WHY THEY CHARGED THEY SAID THEY NEVER CHARGED ME ANYTHING. I FINALLY GOT MY MONEY BACK AFTER 2 WEEKS WHEN I COULD HAVE USED THAT MONEY FOR MY VACATION!!!! THIS HOTEL WAS DIRTY AND EVEYTHING BROKEN. THEY COULDNT EVEN GET SOMEONE TO FIX OUR TV TILL NEXT MORNING!!!
Everything was horrible
You get what you paid for. Provided the basic commodities in order to spend your money on other things. Were switched to a working room close to midnight bc our A/C went out but the Resort made it happen.
The first room we got was horrible, the A/C didn't work, no microwave and the toilet water kept running. The indoor pool is at the YMCA and its more of a training pool...no fun.
The beds were ok
Staff was terrible ..
- Cheap - Location is ok. Not too far from both Disney and Universal - Breakfast included
- They don't change towel daily. - The carpet is a bit damp. - Rooms look old and may need some maintenance. The cabinet in our room has its door removed and placed next to it. A lot of wear on the furniture, wall, etc. - The bed is kinda cheap. You can feel the spring.
The lady at the front counter though was obviously very busy, was still very nice and informative. nothing else was good at all
after standing in line for about 15 minutes waiting behind only one other guest with 3 clerks at the counter, i finally got to talk to the pleasant women at the desk. Although she was very polite they seemed to have no idea what to do with kayak reservations, and ended up just giving me the room for free hoping that kayak actually charged me. so after that 30 minute debacle we head to our room on the second flop, taking the stairs as the elevator looked as if it were occupied by squatters and hepatitis. so up the flooded stairs we went passing all the semi homeless people sitting outside of rooms smoking and drinking, we finally arrived at the room. Upon entering i was smacked in the face with with a muskie wet odor and a room that looked like a scene out of a horror movie. the beds were wet, the bathroom was filthy and everything smelled like it had been rained on for about a year and then brought inside. So we went back to the desk, waited another 20 minutes and the pleasant women upgraded our room and we were off to the first floor where the room next to ours seemed to pour out smells of weed and cigarettes. But once we entered it was a great improvement and we were satisfied for the night. My suggestion is pay a little more and stay at a real, organized and professional hotel/resort and save the headache.
No sheets on bed , no actual comfortable blankets, ran out of wash towels , broken elevators etc
Rooms were decent, you get what you pay for.
Bed wasn't so comfy, very springy.
The location is very good
The refrigerator was was old, broken, and dirty.. The breakfast was very simple, there was no free wifi, and the cards to enter a room are kind of tricky to work.
I like the rooms they were pretty clean and quiet plaza good to rest after a long day
The room only had one bulb out of six and we didn't have a remote for the tv and staff makes too many mistakes
The pool was nice, though it is shared with the hotel next door. Breakfast was consistant. There was ample parking. Great location. for the price, I suppose you can't expect very much.
I can honestly say this has been one of the worst hotels I have stayed at. When we first arrived, We had to change rooms, as the room that we were originally given was not cleaned in its entirety (the bathrooms were left dirty)...The elevators did not work, only one ice machine in the entire building worked, there was one cart for luggage transport (which the staff did not know how to locate), the maid service was horrible.. they did not leave us towels or soap.. they did not vacuum the floors during our 5 day stay.. the only thing they did do was make the bed (but of course they didnt forget to take the tip). after reporting my complaint, the manager said to me "if you don't like it, you can leave".. very unprofessional.
The staff is wonderful. Anything you ask for they will provide if they can. They ar very very helpful and nice !
Ice machines do not work. Main elevator had issues.
Very close to International Drive. Free Parking.
