Smoke smell in rooms and no elevator for 2nd floor. ugly all around
I liked the location, the room size, i loved having two refrigerators, and i liked having places to eat at the hotel. The king size bed was great, my boyfriend and I stayed in the back of the hotel so it was very quiet even though the hotel was very busy. Checking in and out were very easy and the staff was great.
I didn't like that the drain in the bathtub didn't work, and i felt that the room could have been cleaned a little better. And the air conditioner didn't work at all, thank God it wasn't hot during my stay.
Las habitaciones no son como se ven en la fotos, son incómodas, las gavetas para guardar la ropa tenían mal olor y el baño se le filtraba el agua del piso de arriba, no lo recomiendo. Lo único bueno es su localidad.
The clean rooms and the pool and hot tub!
Great swimming pools.
Some of the rooms need renovations and modern furniture.
Location, friendly staff. Red lobster in walking distance.
Room was stingy, it smelled like a smoking room.
Rooms, not clean enough, found clothes from previous guests. Smelled old. Stairs nor cleaned.
I like nothing there
The whole hotel
Room was efficient for stay and breakfast was good
Wifi was poor but worked at times
Got to upgrade the bathrooms, ugly old and stained
everthing was close to me
i hade no problem
Clean room with a nice big flat screen tv. Enjoyed the poolside bar.
The only thing that I liked is the location. Everywhere you want to go (parks, restaurants, shopping, etc) is near. The staff also were very kind.
The room was dirty and it had insects. It also smelled bad.
Staff was friendly. Offers transportation to Disney and back at certain times. Bed was comfortable and clean.
Hotel is dated. Front desk was very understaffed. Checking out took 15 minutes, most of which was waiting in line.
The room smelled bad and I didn't feel safe. The main lobby is awesome but the room they put us in felt like we were in the ghetto.
Room was dirty, carpet was wet/moldy from air conditioner, bathroom was dirty, the room was in disrepair, mattress springs were breaking through, trash was found on the floor beside the bed, stain on carpet which looked like blood, requested towels and an extra blanket which never came.
It was worth the money I paid however; could ahve been a bit more clean and upkeep needs to be done to bring up to date. Staff was extremely professional and definately overdressed.
Needed to be brought up to date and renovated
Staff was friendly. Room was clean, and they do have a lot of amenities on the property. Pools, tennis, snack bar, transportation to parks... Not a far drive to Disney parks and a lot of tourist shops... In area.
Very outdated and showing it's age. Chose because it was a good price and listed as a 3 star. Don't know how the ratings are done on kayak, but it's not what I would consider a 3. Should be a 2 star at best.
They did leave a lot of towels and the woman at the front desk was pleasant.
Go with the saying "you get what you pay for" and that's what you have here. They actually had armed security, which isn't a very good sign. It appears that something serious had happened there before between that, the barbed wire all around and the high powered security lights. I can see why they don't show pictures around the rooms. The room also has a sign not to let anyone in without visible ID. Needless to say I did not feel safe with my children there. The room should have been non smoking, but you could clearly smell the smoke mixed with a very musty smell. The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned or updated since the 70s and the AC was falling apart. It was listed as a two room suite, but the bed in the main room was the type that stays pushed up into the wall. I wasn't about to pull that down and find who knows what or put my children on it. As soon as we walked into the room I wanted to leave. Upon getting home the next morning we all bathed again immediately and rewashed everything we'd brought into the room to get the smell out.
Loved that the room was big and very clean. The pool was great :)
It was kind of loud hearing people yell at like 1:30 in the morning and someone was leaning on my car smoking pot or something in the parking lot. Need security checking parking lot.
Price. Staff nice
Not so clean. No breakfast included. Resort fees, but not many amenities. Many people smoking around pool area.
I didn't expect to arrive until I was ready to go to bed. I ran around Orlando doing things till almost midnight without notifying the hotel. I then arrived at the hotel and registered with no problem. There was still activity going on in the lobby.
My room seemed to not have been used in awhile and seemed a little musky. It did go away after a while. The rooms can use an update. The cost of an update may mean upgrading the hotels star rating and room cost.
You get what you pay for. It was a good value in a great location.
Very out dated. The bathrooms, beds, tv, photos on the wall, carpet, bedding, everything was pretty much out dated.
There was one whirlpool that was fairly hot, and the other one was more lukewarm. It worked out to be kind of nice. When I was done roofing I would ease sore muscles with the hotter whirlpool. Then I would go to the cooler whirlpool to relax and enjoy watching my niece and nephew in the other pool.
I heard several complaints from people in the 500 section about lights not working, and the A/C units were old dirty. I stayed in the 900 where I guess they had renovated the rooms, and my A/C unit was great I ran it at 65 degrees the two nights of my stay, and it was spot less. I did however hear noises from the fridge unit in the room next to mine sometimes.
Air in room would not cool and room smelled like mold. Repairman could not fix air. They switched our room and second room smelled better but air still would not cool room. We were hot through the night and the bed was an old spring mattress that had no support. I had a horrible night sleep.
Enjoyed staying there, comfort and price of each room
Extra fees, upon checking in.
Rooms needed to be renovated. or at least painted
It was smelly :-(
Close to Old Town and not far from Disney.
Rooms need updated.
We loved tha location of the hotel. It's practically next door to old Town. It's on a major road with everything you need. Only 10 minutes from the theme parks and it has free shuttle service.
The rooms are out of date but for the price I paid it didn't bother us.
Feels dirty, very outdated
The location was convenient to Disney. It was also next door to goofy golf as well as a "family fun center" with an arcade, thrill rides, and carnival rides. The pool was clean and well kept.
The floors were dirty when we arrived in our rooms. The hair dryer didn't work, so I had to request another one. We were in the middle of getting dressed, though, and after waiting about an hour and calling twice, I just had to go out with wet hair. When we arrived back at the room, the dryer had been replaced. I also had trouble finding a working ice machine. After the 4th try, I found a working one. Overall, you get what you pay for, and it worked for a couple of nights.
Did not like
Smelled like cigarette and the beds were worrible
The grounds arr outstanding, fantastic pool, hot tub, playground. The up keep of grass, hedges, snd gtounds are outstanding.
Thr tooms are old and tired. Yhry need a facelift. Their not bad enough to stay away but it looks like yhry took a old hotel given up by a big chain and made a outstanding play area. Room had a bit of a smell to iy. Hard yo get to yhe refridgerator but mictowave was at a good spot.
Comfortable clean great price
Room was a little stuffy since it was hot but overall jot bad
I like that it is close to Disney and Old Town.
It needs work done because everything is very old. Beds were very uncomfortable and A/C was extremely running ALL night! Guess that's what I get for paying $45 for the night.
Very close to the Walt Disney World resort. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Shower had a broken valve and cracked handle. Rooms in need of refurb.
