    Disappointing experience

Size and cleanliness of our villa was acceptable. The location is nicely located in the middle of everything. Very close to Sea World and shopping malls.

Compared to other Vistana properties, this one left us disappointed. Upon check-in, there were no valet or security to tell us where to put our vehicle. When checking into our villa, we found the door handle to the bathroom fell off and the closet door was ready to fall off the hinge. They also did not provide a dishwashing sponge in the kitchen. This is also a timeshare and we went to a sales pitch. The salesmen were very pushy and essentially held us hostage for several hours.

Very clean & beautiful place. Great for anyone, but especially families. Liked having the option for housekeeping or room credit.

Did not know I’d be encouraged to attend a timeshare presentation

We Love the spacious confines & the rooms were great! The pools & surrounding outside facilities where top notch.

I hated the constant phone calls from the support staff in regards to buying a timeshare & to see if we would take a tour of the facility. Also, we had a very loud family above us who constantly made noise above us it sounded like a stampede or heard of buffalo where above us the whole time it was so frustrating.

    Hurricane Irma stay

The 2 bedroom condo worked perfectly for the 6 of us. The mattress on the hide a bed was very comfortable since my kids don't complain. The pillows were hi quality and plenty in our room and there was everything you could want in the kitchen. The apt felt larger then some other 2bedroom condos we have stayed in in orlando.

The bathroom wasn't updated and felt dingy. When we walked in it smelled musty and I had to go and buy fabreeze. Felt like the carpets were damp in spots.

Quiet place inside some greenery, many swimming pools, activity centers, not far from the theme parks.

When we checked in, the soap packet was open in the bathroom. Room was not at all like the pictures. Apparently the hotel had a free gift for us and they called in the morning while we were sleeping to ask us to pick it up (2 days in a row). I like my sleep and would hate any disturbance.

Overall I enjoyed everything! I do wish the big pool was open but it was understandable that needed repairs needed to be done.

I don't like timeshare presenters trying to change my mind once I've given them an answer that I am not willing to purchase. Also I would have like to seen somewhere on the Sheraton site before I booked that the big pool was closed for repairs instead of reading it in the confirmation email after I booked a non-refundable stay.

    Pleasantly surprised

I'm usually much more of a boutique hotel person, but I was meeting up with friends for a night and having a villa meant we could have another person sleep on the pullout couch. I am so glad we ended up here! It has the benefits of a resort without feeling too commercial. The pool (there are four but we only made it to one) is large and beautiful. There are games set up at the pool, a waterfall, and a pool bar. The staff is unbelievably friendly and helpful. They give every guest a courtesy gift. It was so comfortable, we ended up not going out and instead getting a bottle of wine and relaxing on our large screened in porch. I highly recommend.

Noisy fountains, slow service, lack of tennis courts and kids entertainment.

    Two week stay

We stayed in was a single room with separate bedroom and sitting area, it was clean and the bed very comfortable,. We used this as our home base for traveling throughout the area and only stayed on the property three half days around the pool. There were enough utensils in the kitchen, fridge was clean and the convection microwave was a good addition. We elected to not have room service so the washer and dryer was also a good addition. Overall the room was comfortable for two people. It was also good that they had a quite pool, however you need to get there early if you are to have any chance of one of the poolside cabanas.

We stayed in building 10 on the fourth floor , the building backs onto a very busy noisy road. There was a very limited amount of washing detergent, shampoo, soap etc.. They should just add a couple of dollars to the cost of the room and supply an adequate amount of toiletries etc. The TV was so dark it was very difficult to watch any program . We were informed that there was no brightness adjustment on the TV it was an auto select feature, also informed they had numerous complaints and were in the process of replacing them. We only used the small hob for cooking twice , it was okay but mainly used it for boiling a kettle of water for a cup of tea. The exhaust fan over the hob vents into the room so all cooking smells stay in the room. Had breakfast at the on site restaurant it was average, staff were very nice.

The resort in general was beautiful and very well kept!

I hated the early morning phone calls, it interrupted my sleep(which I love to do in Vacation). The "timeshare" crew was aggressive and I don't like that AT ALL! Also, the overall staff were amazing! However, the cleaning and maintenance were not so much! Crew Driving the club carts were speeding and reckless majority of the time and the cleaning crew were extremely loud in the morning hours! I actually had to get out of bed to ask for them to not yell across to each other! It's was quite frustrating and for that reason alone I may not return! It's unfortunate because it's a beautiful place

Sheraton Vistana Villages is a Starwood timeshare property that offers traveling families spacious and well-equipped accommodations along with big-resort features. The sun, sand, and swimming set a relaxing scene, but the high volume of families and young children make for an energetic buzz. The Sheraton Vistana Villages is a pristine resort only ten minutes from Disney World, fifteen minutes from Sea World, and conveniently close to all major Orlando attractions. Just outside the gates, there are numerous restaurants and mega stores like Wal-Mart and Target. With three pools, plenty of outdoor activities, and several on-site dining options, families can find all they need without leaving the resort. The three pools, each with a different theme, are the highlight of the resort. Additionally, families take part in several programmed events such as family campfires, pool parties, swim-up move nights, and gator shows. Adults can find their own fun with beer tastings, fitness classes, and games such as basketballs, tennis, and shuffleboard. Sheraton Vistana Villages features 1,037 one- and two-bedroom villas with kitchens, dining areas, master baths, and two or three flat-screen TVs. There are balconies or terraces off most of the one-bedroom villas and all of the two-bedroom units. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, and safes large enough to hold laptops. Spacious rooms, lots of activity, and convenient location make the property a great, relaxing lodging option for those planning to travel to Orlando's theme parks.
