It was nice having the opportunity in the evening to "escape" from the Mickey Mouse atmosphere and to enjoy downtown Orlando. The food at the restaurant is quite good for international standards. The staff at the restaurant is very kind but not fully professional.
The finishes are terrific and the artwork is a very nice touch. The staff was very courteous.
Everything about our stay at the grand bohemian was perfect. The staff was exceptionally pleasant, the food was amazing, and the room was spectacular. I will definitely be staying here anytime I visit orlando.
the room was beautiful the fire dept outside my window
CLEAN STAFF FABULOUS TOOK CARE OF NOISE VERY QUICKLY, IMPRESSIVE! Everyone in the group agreed the beds were horrible. Appeared comfy but we all had aching backs... OVERPRICED!!! ROOM SERVICE PRICE RIDICULOUS! No place to get anything we might have forgotten to pack. No little gift shoppe for little stuff... We heard from others in our party the buffet was lousy, so we skipped it although we prepaid for 2 days...
Decor, staff efficiency, central location, staff friendlyness, unique atmosphere No
Great hotel! Wonderful staff! Very good food! An overall excellent experience!
The location was very good, steps away from park and lake and downtown businesses. Room was very comfortable, clean and nice. Sunday breakfast was good as well. Unfortunately: - Check in time (4 pm) was not good for us .. we had to wait an hour after a 4 hour trip to Orlando ... Kayak did not provide check in/check out time in their email confirmation. - Hotel check-in staff did not explain what hotel had to offer. - Pillows were subpar. - Woken at 3 am by guests yelling at each other in atrium from one floor to another ... not hotel security nor staff present to quiet down the incident .. this happened for approximately 15-20 minutes.
I only stopped in for a night, so I didn't get to test out the amenities. The lobby was spacious and modern with a well-equipped bar and plenty of seating for all group sizes. The room was spacious with the living room separate from the bedroom, both containing a tv. Everything was clean and the beds were comfy. It had decent wifi speeds. Parking will cost you an extra $30, as there is no lot, only valet. You could also go to the parking garage down the street or pay a meter. For a higher-end hotel, it's a bit behind the time on the in-room entertainment system. there's no smartphone integration on anything. No kind of tv apps or ways to get online content, just basic cable. Other than that, just a couple of minor things like having 6 servings of coffee and 2 sugar packets and nothing to stir the coffee with. Nothing major.
Walking distance to all the downtown bars
Great location close to lake with a panera downstairs.
Personal and attentive staff
Location is amazing! adjacent to lake Eola Park and all the pleasures the park brings. Walk to downtown. Private free parking helps. Food few steps away. Really enjoyed my stay, will be back! Room was on the border of being a little crammed. I don't suggest bringing kids to stay. Not much activities and since the hotel is small, you can hear everything happening in the halls.
Location, charm, décor; all nice. However I expected a little more poshness.
we found the location good for Orlando city. A spa treatment is available as is a jacuzzi. The bedroom was extremely small and the bathroom tiny, no tea, coffee available in the room.
Enjoyed our stay at the EO. The rooms were comfortable & clean. The bathrooms could be updated but were fine.
It had a good feel to it - from the design of the hotel and rooms to the helpful staff. The room balcony was a plus, as was the proximity to the lake. Separate restaurant downstairs where you could eat was convenient (if a little pricey). Absence of coffee-making facilities in the room. Decor a little on the dark side.
We love the room, especially since my boyfriend is 6'7 and space was needed. I asked Chad for a bigger room and he upgraded me to a suite which was perfect. I proposed to my boyfriend there and he loved it. We couldn't stop talking about the design and decoration of the room. Chad also suggested good food places to eat. Again thanks Chad you and EO Inn were perfect. We didn't want to leave.
I loved everything. The only place I will stay in Orlando.
Great Bed, quite, Close to Lake Eloa & Downtown Night scene Had to air room out - housekeeping used too much bleach cleaning the room. Lack of 24 hour service at the front desk was a little bit of a pain but they had a call number and lock box to get your key after hours. Call went to voicemail and had to wait 15 minutes before getting a call back.
I liked the hotel because it was so convenient to Lake Eola where my son's wedding took place. There were a few changes I would like to suggest which would have made our stay more pleasant: 1. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. 2. A fridge in the room 3. The coffee in the foyer was not refilled often enough or was cold.
My husband and I found your Inn to be a great place for a weekend get-away! Loved it! none
Staff was very helpful Dripping water, rotting door jams, bathroom so scary I was afraid to shower.
Close to downtown For the price is totally ok place to stay This s just ok hotel. Don't have huge expectation
I wasn't expecting much for $65 a night but boy was I grossed out. The people that work there were super friendly but we're not given much to work with. Broken coffee machine, 1 working light, jet engine sounding heater, whole building smelled of wet paint to the point of my eyes burning. Door know was falling off the door. I had to throw a shoulder to get in. Over all 5 stars for hookers and intravenous drugs.
I Didn't LIKE IT AT ALL, I GOT UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND THERE WERE A LOT OF ROACHES ALL OVER THE ROOM THIS HOTEL NEED TO BE COMPLETE REMODEL THE BATHTUB WAS REAL DIRTY WALL AND DOOR IN BATHROOM ARE FALLING APART THIS HOTEL DOESN'T COST THE 65$ I PAY .. I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAINST I LEFT AT 6:AM THE NEXT DAY NOTHING LIKE FROM THIS HOTEL THE MANAGER AND SUPERVISOR DON'T EVEN CARE THE HOTEL IT FALLING APART. AND THE ROACHES AND THE BAD SMELL AWFUL..
Was in downtown Orlando and myself and a friend had a little too much to drink. Decided to play it safe and find a place to sleep it off. The room itself wasn't anything fancy and for the price couldn't beat it. Some of the elements of the room were a little dated, but even though the bedding wasn't as luxurious as some of the nicer hotels it was clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I would for sure recommend staying here if like myself needed somewhere to sleep after being out or just on a budget. The room was a little too musty but not unbearable. I would highly advise not booking through Kayak. We accidentally booked for the following night and the Kayak representative was extremely unhelpful. We were double charged on top of it and was told there was nothing that could be done because we needed to call a week before to make any changes even though we didn't book until the night of. On top of that the rates offered by the polite people at the front desk were lower than what were offered through Kayak. I would highly advise calling the hotel directly.
