This is our second time dining at Eddie V's and we were really looking forward to it. I love the bar/lounge, so we arrived early, to have drinks and an appetizer in that elegant space. Our server, Carly, was very attentive and helpful. We wanted a 'mini' seafood tower; but, there was nothing on the menu. So, she and the chef concocted a tower of 6 Jumbo Shrimp, 4 Blue Point Oysters; a Split Lobster Tail; and, a dish of Jumbo Lump Crab. it was the perfect size and price. For cocktails, I had the Vesper and my wife had the Orange Mojito.\n\nAfter our appetizers, we were taken into one of the dining rooms; and, were seated at a table with a view of the lake. Our server, Alejandro, suggested we go outside to enjoy the view of I-drive and the Orlando Eye, which we did after ordering an exceptional French Sauvignon Blanc and a bowl of Lobster Bisque, to split.\n\nThe soup course was elegant, with Alejandro bringing out bowls with lobster and accompaniments; and, then pouring the rich bisque over the top. Splitting a bowl was perfect!\n\nFor mains, I ordered the Morel Crusted Red Snapper; and, my wife had the Hong Kong Sea Bass. I love morel mushrooms; and, they complimented the fish very well without overwhelming the taste. My wife's sea bass was so tender, flaky (almost fluffy) and so subtly tasty it's incredible. However, the side of roasted beets were nothing to remark about.\n\nSo, both fish were exceptional; but I only ate half of mine (taking the rest home) to save room for dessert. A few days later, when my wife and I split the leftovers, we each remarked at how good the snapper tasted. \n\nFor dessert, we went for the Panna Cotta, to go with the rest of our wine; and, the subtle taste and smooth texture paired well.
