When you stay at Brusco Rooms in Capiago Intimiano, you'll be next to a golf course, within a 15-minute drive of Cathedral of Como and Volta Temple (Tempio Voltiano). Featured amenities include luggage storage, a safe deposit box at the front desk, and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The long driveway guides you into a green environment with a few buildings in front. This location is actually a sports complex with rooms and a great restaurant. Reception area isn't really an area, you just check in at the counter of the bar of this location. The atmosphere is relaxed as you might find everywhere in Italy. The difference with many locations is that this one is run by a professional team and anticipates on the demands of a modern traveller. The rooms are nice and clean and have that touch of italian authenticity, but are foreseen of the modern comfort : space, a descend wardrobe and luggage space, wifi (descend speed), a modern bathroom with authentic features. (but a great spacious clean shower and room enough for 2 persons). We arrived late and we were hungry. The restaurant being still open we took our chances. And what a delight ! This restaurant is run by the lord and lady of the house and a crew of young men to serve you at your request. The food we ate was perfect! A real coming home to Italian first class cuisine! The perfectly homemade Italian dinner. We paid about 120Euros for 2 people : 2 course meal with prosecco, starters, mains, wines, waters and coffee. A fair price for the quality we got! In the morning breakfast is served on the terrace : a vast variety of pastries (croissants and small breads), fruits, yoghurt, butter, cheese, cured meats, sweets and marmalade. Served with a great cup of coffee, an orange juice (fresh juice) and water.
Cons: That we didn't have more time to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings and the wonderful food. But we will be back.
Pros: spacious room, nice decoration, soothing surroundings, great breakfast
Cons: we had a room above bar and it was very noisy at mornings
Pros: Nice and stylish farmhouse in green & calm surrounding - you have a great restaurant, tennis courts, horse riding around. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had lovely breakfast every morning and you can have coffee & some fresh food all day at the bar. Parking available on site - Como and other places are not too far from the property.
Cons: It would be very helpful to have mosquito net for the windows.
Pros: A lovely complex of buildings, tennis, horse stables, snack bar and wonderful restaurant
Pros: Beautiful rooms and setting. Staff were lovely. Great breakfast!
Pros: We went to Brusco rooms to escape the heat wave in Milan and it was the perfect decision, 100% worth both the travel and the expense
Cons: If Brusco rooms had an outdoor swimming pool and we more time to enjoy the place our stay would have been more than awesome
Pros: The room itself was really nice and practical.
Cons: No air-conditioning unfortunately
Pros: Everything was great , restaurant was wonderful and the owner made us feel really welcome. Staff innBar were lovely . Definitely stay again
Pros: Amazing stay. Host went above and beyond to make us comfortable after a stressful day travelling. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Cons: Google misguided me. It's located on a dirt road nad google maps improvised. Pay attention to directions from owners.
Pros: Nice B&B in the middle of nowhere. Owners were helpful when I got lost trying to find it. Run by two lovely people. Breakfast was nice, service was great. Adorable place!
Cons: Hard to find, adventurous drive!
Pros: The Owner is on the spot, and seems to be very accessible, nice and warm person
Cons: Location - the location is nowhere near that described. The house is located in a remote forest area. No signage is provided anywhere and conditions of the road is extremely bad with bog stones and flood canals on the way. Description of the location is nowhere near reality. While some people may enjoy remoteness of the area, that needs to be truthfully described in order not to set wrong expectations.
Pros: Big room, very friendly hosts. Close to Como, but an authentic in campo stay.
Cons: The road to the house is very bad. We didnt mind but is something to be aware of.
Pros: Breakfast was included in price. Nothing a bother for staff Nice bathroom with bath Facilities to use for tea and coffee Beautiful garden to sit in on a sunny day
Cons: The road to the property is quite ruggered and bumpy. Card needs to be taken when driving down
