parking fee and location
It was spacious for a Japanese apartment.
We were really disappointed that the property did not disclose that the red light district known as Matsushima Shinchi is located less than 300m from the hotel. My partner and I were walking home from the station one night following google maps recommended route to find ourselves walking through this area. Had I been alone or with another female traveler I would have felt very frightened and unsafe. If we had been told this information prior to our stay we would have been more aware and proactively avoided walking through this area at night. The checkin process with the video call was strange however it was relatively straight forward once the call was ended.
parking that cost 700 for 24 is great!
I stayed in many places during my 20 days in Japan. But this was by far the best and best value. So new, so spotlessly clean, best shower / bath / toilet area, great equipped kitchen, and the washing machine looked new and modern but I did not use it. Thank you so much!
Check in process a little complicated. Everything else was great.
We liked that we had a kitchenette and private bathroom. We didn't think we needed a washing machine, but ended up using it so that was convenient. We wanted to go to the aquarium and Osaka Castle which were both only a few stops away on the Chuo line so for us the location was nice. There's a great Korean barbecue restaurant only a few minutes away that we enjoyed.
The space was a bit small for a family of 4. There was a small folding table with two seats, but really not enough space for all of us to sit and eat. I wouldn't recommend it for small children as there were exposed power cords/strips.
