Nice and clean, modern
Closer to highway
Although the lobby was under renovation and this seemed to make the front desk difficult to work at, the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The hallway (we were in room 111) smelled like smoke which is enough to turn me off another visit when we go there for hockey. Also, with a couple of hockey teams checking in after their evening games, there was only one person working at the front desk. I asked for some conditioner because my bathroom had none. The person at the desk asked me to wait, she checked in 3 families, then she just reached behind her and grabbed some for me!?
It was moderately convenient; it was fairly reasonable.
Under construction, with no prior warning or price discount: noise, dust, closed areas. The bathtub had a thick layer of white powder on it. Some programmes had been stopped (e.g., kids were supposed to get 'free frozen treats,' but they had apparently stopped doing that months earlier without changing their literature).
we enjoyed having one of the newly renovated rooms- it was beautiful and very comfortable
we would have liked to have known ahead of time that the hotel was under extensive renovations. Also would have liked if the pool was open later for adults
The location, the facilities and the comfort.
location was good to arenas shopping restraunts
breakfast was so busy no place to sit
we were just at the hotel to sleep during our daughter's move to Oshawa to attend Durham College. Conveniently close to restaurants. Room was clean and quiet.
We were only stopping for a place to sleep it was a good hotel large enough rooms with an excellent continental bradkfast
Needs to start renovating, a little old but clean
Clean hotel, friendly staff, big rooms and a good breakfast.
Yes, I had asked for a handicapped room for my mother who uses a walker, we were put in 334 at the far end of the hall. I would consider booking there again next year if there is either a handicapped room or if we could book rooms 134 and 132.
Price, availability and quality of the location
Lack of wall outlets
