Pros: All employees have been extremely friendly and helpful. They helped us planning our trip to Etosha National Park as well as planning our journey to our next destination. The inside dining area as well as the outside area with view over the water hole are very cosy and beautiful. All food (breakfast and dinner) was simply amazing.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: A lot of mosquitos, but they provide anti-mosquitocandles.
Pros: The people was very nice.
Pros: The staff could not do enough to help us relax and see the animals come to the waterhole. They helped arrange activities for us at a nearby winery. Excellent hospitality from this family run bsiness.
Pros: Food quality is great, both dinner and breakfast. Very friendly personnel. Great affordable horse safari on nice obedient horses. The advantage is that you do not stick to the road, and so can approach animals (giraffes) very close. For experienced equestrians galloping is also possible ;)
Pros: Unbelievable friendly people, Heinzi, Heidi and Heike (the owners) really to their utmost to make your stay a great experience!
Pros: Tent straight by water hole. Staff very friendly.
Pros: Great stop over on our way back to Swakopmund coming from the Etosha. Good tasty Breakfast with good service.
Pros: Super helpful staff. Great food. Lovely room. Visited nearby winery which was tremendous.
Pros: Waking up in the early hours of the morning to see a giraffe eating the flowers right outside our chalet veranda made our stay very special (obviously can’t be guaranteed). Staff on check-in very warm and welcoming, ‘deluxe’ chalet was as advertised – comfortable, large and clean, with a beautiful view of the waterhole and surrounding areas. Lovely to sit inside or on the private veranda and watch life happen. Various nice sitting options in the ‘reception/restaurant’ area if you want Wifi. Didn’t have the dinner (N$330 per person), but the breakfast was good with nice little touches and extras. Didn’t use any other facility or take any tours because we only stayed one night. Didn't see as many animals as expected, but that's not a complaint, just down to luck.
When you stay at Ohange Namibia Lodge in Otavi, you'll be in the mountains and 5 minutes by car from Ombanje Game Farm. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Large rooms. Clean. Friendly family and staff. Good food, while you can watch the game from some meters distance. Nice garden and swimming pool. Good food.
Cons: Cancellation policy is 'not from this world' anymore: never any money back, even 8 months before the arrival (money maker). Poor WiFi (I know, it's in the outback). Quite far from Etosha gate.
Pros: The meals were memorable and the staff very attentive to our needs.
Cons: The beds were too hard!
Pros: Full package. Scenery, viewing animals from the terrace, wonderful cooking, good atmosphere and walking a wild track.
Pros: whole property, very nice hosts dinner with the hosts around the outdoor firepit and BBQ
Pros: Pool, Dinner next to waterhole and by campfire
Pros: The friendly and personal service from the owners. They made us feel at home. We felt welcome and part of the family
Cons: Umbrellas at the pool area for shade
Pros: We stayed here on our way from Etosha up to the Caprivi. Lovely little chalets in the grounds made it seem very private. Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Food was good and plentiful. Loved the water hole on the property where we saw Eland for the first time and plenty of other wildlife coming to drink.
Cons: Road in could do with a little repair in places.
Pros: Very beautiful location, with a waterhole with animals all day long. The dinner in front of the waterhole was fantastic! The owners are available and very nice.
Pros: lovely location, great breakfasts, large rooms with a desk- rare in Namibian stays
Cons: chairs in the verandah of rooms and restaurant not comfortable for a relaxed sit - veru minor point in an excellent place
