The sunny and cosy terras when the weather was good. Also friendliness of the staff. The construction works opposite the hotel waked me up very early (but than this is not the fault of the hotel....)
An old hotel situated below the castle with a relatively modern extension. Our room on the top floor of the latter was clean and comfortable with plenty of space and ample storage. The restaurant is especially comfortable with booth seating or a large outdoor terrace. A sunday morning brass band concert added to the charm. Rather cramped garage parking is free for guests. A pity that a modern ugly development in front of the hotel detracts from the charm of this otherwise beautiful town. The buffet breakfast was noisy and disturbing as in many other hotels, but an in-room continental breakfast is offered for the lovers of served breakfasts. We take this next time.
Good restaurant, nice place in the city, closed to the castle
very nice and comfortable.
Excellent service, very friendly staff, very good internet connectivity. N/A
Clean room. Minibar. Wired Internet in room (only for left wing on the building). Pool. Good breakfast. Parking facilities. I love the loyalty program! (1 free night per every 10 nights). Nice staff I'm reception and restaurant. Nothing.
Character hotel in a smaller Swiss village, pleasant feel, nice outdoor patio and good food. It's a pretty setting at the foot of a castle.
Lovely place and very nice staff but could not sleep due to the bells. If you were a heavy sleeper you might be able to sleep through it. Too bad as it is really a lovely little place. The bells, bells, bells!!!!!! The church bells toll every 15 minutes through out the night and day. They are just next to the hotel!!!
I very much enjoyed my week at the Sonne. The room was spacious and well appointed. Great views of the town. The staff was very responsive to my requests. I plan on bringing my wife there on a future trip. There are alot of local restaurants to choose from and walks through the town were quite nice.
The staff were attentive, very nice and polite, they made you feel welcome. Breakfast was a bit limited, we have stayed there each year for many years and in previous years the breakfast was more complete, a sign no doubt that ownership of the hotel possibly changed?
Lovely hotel in a beautiful little old town. Facinating interior; much wood and beautiful wrought iron. We got a wonderful room with massive wood bars in the roof. We were positively surprised of the bar/night club, it was very stylish. Breakfast was good. Garage / free parking place was hard to find, you must follow the signs: Bremgarten-West to get to the right side of the town. Breakfast was poor if you didn't come early in the morning; they didn't fill the food folders.
Nice room, very nice bar, breakfast was good, nice to have pool (quite small) - price was excellent (weekend rate, I guess)
excellent room and whole hotel very clean. Food very good though expensive. We need help to find it. It is in Wildegg, not Lenzburg as advertised. (Though not far away.)Trains passing through the station next to the hotel noisy, however not really a problem in the night. Our waiter was willing and agreeable but our German does not extend to understanding Swiss German and I don't think he used any hochdeutsch.
The staff was very kind and helpful. Very good restaurant. Comfortable rooms and ideal position close to the railway station (owing to the good room insulation, the noise from the trains wasn't a matter a concern).
I had 12 persons playing music at the side of my room.I am a business traveller so I need calm,
