welcoming, excellent facilities, friendly staff, excellent spa & indoor pool Canned music at breakfast! Could also be more variety of food at breakfast
Beautiful modern hotel in beautiful surroundings, will return for sure. Breakfast coffe not served at tables. I am a coffe drinker and had to get up many times just to get a cup of coffe
The hotel is very comfortable. good breakfast.
We needed to leave reasonably promptly in the morning to catch a flight and the hotel were a little reluctant to begin breakfast before 7.30am
We have appreciated very much the attention of all the staff. The hotel is new and we feel comfortable there. The rooms are nice and clean. The toilet is also modern and easy to use. The location is good. It is relatively far from the city and is quiet. However, it central to the Douro area and is a good starting point to visit it, including Amarante, Porto, the river Douro, etc. For those who travel in family, it is also important to say that there is a recreation park nearby, the "Bracalândia" park, which is a sort of little "Isla magica". Finally, there is also the pool in the hotel. But for more about the pool see below. The spa and pool are not exactly owned by the hotel, but it seemed to me that it belongs to another owner. The staff there is not as nice as in the hotel. I think they try to keep a quiet ambience in the in the installations, and so they react a little bit negatively to the presence of kids. Actually, there is a restricted period when the kids are allowed, which is from 10h-12h and 15h-17h. We did not know about that, and had to wait to get in! Apart that, the rest was ok.
The staff, bedroom and food. The hotel is still being done. It should be noticed what is available at the hotel information page.
the room food and spa were very good. the hotel is easy to find and in walking distans from the city
Everything was relexing. Nice people. Nice place. Nice food at the breakfast. Very good! Everything was good!
Staff,rooms and food very good
Very nice, modern hotel, good location
Very clean, nice apartment, good equipment. Wireless internet is not avaiable in all rooms. Only few parking places.
Lovely well designed, clean hotel , well mannered helpful staff, well worth the money would 100% return at a later date. Pool would be nice and slightly more variety for breakfast would be good
Clean, well appointed room and very good value. I arrived at 10.00pm as the restuarant was closing but they stayed open for me and provided soup and an omelete No
Good, modern and spacious hotel apartment with friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Nice place to stay if you have a car and want to explore the Douro region. It is a long way from Porto centre and deceiving in its description.
The very friendly staff and the good location in a quiet area
Service, hotel cleanliness, breakfast internet wifi
The hotel was clean and modern, the staff helpful and friendly. The shower was a bit substandard (temperature and pressure variable). The Restaurant was closed on the Sunday night of our stay - which was a nuisance as we'd been looking forward to eating there. However, we were able to find a very friendly Portuguese place in the town - great food at very reasonable price.
Nice room, with a lot of space, two LCD TV. Air conditioning not working.
Quiet place, clean hotel, for the service very good value, friendly personal
Very nice people, very comfortable room, nice and quiet, beautiful building, Spa features in real thermal facilities. Huge breakfast in bedroom for a very reasonable fee. Excellent value for money ratio The room was quite cold, was adjusted in reception, when asked it was tuned to a nice temperature. The construction works on a independent building in the estate gave not such a nice surroundings to the hotel.
Q: What did you like during your stay? A: Not very much! 1. The room was very sparsely furnished and the bed made a loud creak everytime we moved! 2. There is a real problem with the drains. They stink! 3.The food served at lunch & dinner was very disappointing. "Quantity, not Quality" seems to be the motto here. Having had a very poor and badly served lunch comprising lukewarm soup, soggy fried fish with par-bolied rice (no vegetables or salad to be seen) we were reluctant to try the dinner but in the rather charmless village of São Vicente, there is very little alternative for dining out - other than cafés & Pizzerias - so we reluctantly stayed for an evening meal. It was worse than lunch (altho the waiter was more sympathetic than his lunchtime colleague) & mostly inedible & was sent back.
