Pros: Very nice B&B, next time we will try to be in time for the table d’hotes as well
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Pretty and quiet little village just 10 minutes from the main road so a great stop over point. We were made very welcome and had a delicious meal and fun evening with our hosts. The bed was comfortable, and the shower really powerful. The wine made and sold by the owners was excellent!
Cons: We found having just a thin curtain between the loo and the bedroom rather awkward.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place, g reat hosts and fantastic food and wine.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely BnB in a small village with nice rooms. They also make their own wines so don’t miss out on trying them. The homemade breakfast was excellent.

Pros: Very friendly host. We had a great diner with the family and other guests. Don‘t miss it. We will come back.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This place is wonderful! Very friendly owners and the food is delicious. You can ask for dinner and if you do, you won't regret it - it's one of the best meals i've ever had
Cons: Nothing major, but a few things we've noticed, which didn't really spoil the experience: Window is on the same level as the floor so it was rather dangerous with a little baby and we had to keep it shut even though it was warm. Also the absence of the toilet door (there is a curtain) was sort of a surprise.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: was very welciming
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sandra and Lionel made us feel part of their family, as they have a vineyard. The barbecue and the five bottles of their very good wine made for a great night . If we are in that area again we will be calling back .
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great rooms, but the food Sandra serves is the best ever!!
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of the owners and relaxed atmosphere of the place was great. We shared a really enjoyable evening with the owners and other guests who were enjoying a bbq.
Cons: No door on the bathroom ,just a curtain.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay - huge garden, spacious rooms, amazing hosts. Thank you!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed a very warm family overnight stay with 2 separate rooms (it was advertized in Booking.com as a "Suite") and our private bathroom. As a no-charge extra, we were invited to have dinner with the familiy in the garden: wine, soft drinks, French cheese and artisan ice cream. So, we learned to know several members of the familiy and other guests. We were coming from Strassbourg and we were on the way to Paris, that is why this location was conveniently located on the route N4. The village itself does not have much to offer though.

Pros: Owners very friendly and helpful - directed us to a nearby restaurant for evening meal. Room was spacious and the building was full of French character and charm. Plentiful and varied breakfast - try the home cured charcuterie. Owner speaks sufficient English to hold a conversation and to be helpful - suggested a running route along the canal!
Cons: The hotel is in the middle of a very rural and quiet location. No problem to us as were passing through. Gondecourt le Chateau nearest small town about 6 km away for shop and restaurant.

Overview Reviews

7.0 Good
Pros: Friendly hosts and a nice and rich breakfast. Great shower and clean room. There's also a garden that seems pretty nice, but due to weather conditions we did not get a chance to hang out there unfortunately.
Cons: The location is on a Provincial road not very close to a village or city center. If you'd want to go somewhere you'd always need transportation. And to me, and I have sensitive ears unfortunately, the place is a bit noisy, though it's not the road itself, more that the walls are a bit thin.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was amazing, locally produced jams. beds were very comfy. very clean, spacious and tidy. friendly host and happy to help. excellent value for money.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Secure parking for motorbike at rear of property
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good communication with the property, very nice and welcoming host, very clean.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Clean and big room.
6.8 Good
Pros: Room was looking at the back with a countryside view and 5 person could sleep together. A simple selection of breakfast was included. There was a possibility to buy some local wine (the white was great for my taste).
Cons: WiFi was slow (30secs to load a page, do not even think to watch any movies). The toilet was smelly, and was not fixed well to the ground and it was wiggling (room#5). The walls not too thick so you can hear the neighbor is talking or watching movies. Also the closeness of the highway was audible for me although other family members were not bothered. The hot water run out after 2 person showering so the rest had to wait till morning. I was expecting more from the earlier ratings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Outside looks a little dated but was fine
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Easy access to city center of Toul. Neat and modern rooms (you wouldn't tell at first glance of the outside of the hotel) very friendly staff and a complete breakfast buffet. Clean room, everything in it and comfortable bed and linen.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Initially owner greeted us with a grunt but then said hello booked us in and told us that our room was second floor. No lift so he watched us carry bag upstairs.
Cons: I did not like the owner shouting at my wife from the stairs when she accidentally lost the room key. I was prepared to pay for the replacement key and thought that this would solve the situation. It did not, the owner when we explained the key fell on the ground and down a drain with a Torrent of abuse about why we did not leave the key at reception. If asked we would have done. He then said he would charge 100 euro for replacement of a basic key!!! My wife was very upset by the owners awful attitude- so much so we went back to the drain to try and get the key. I would never stay at this hotel again awful rude and not bothered when I told him my wife was crying. Then the Owner informed booking.com we had not arrived so he did not get a bad review. After taking our room fee and 80 Euros for a simply key

Cons: The breakfast was poor. 5 slices of bread and only jam (fresh jam though). There was an egg boiler but no measuring cup to add water or add a hole to the eggs, so not usable. Also no one around to ask annything. Bad wifi (no wifi in the rooms/breakfast area)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fantastic. The reception we had was friendly and informative. We were shown to our room which had a 4 poster bed and all of the decorations and fitments were outstanding. 8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, very clean facility, modern rooms, quiet, good shower, nice sheets.
Cons: A bit of a distance to the town centre and rather expensive. The desk clerk made an exception for us, but he made it clear that normally one needs to wait until 5:30pm to check in. That’s when the reception desk opens (except there is never anyone at that desk, you have to phone if you need to talk to someone). That seems a bit late to us.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Chose this property for location and price and was a good 1-night stop. The room was clean and I was actually surprised of how nice considering the price. Parking just in front on the road, free for the night.
Cons: You have to consider what you pay of course. The only thing is you can hear everything through the walls.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location itself is fine but hard to see at night. Has check in machine in case of late arrival. Bed sheets were pretty clean
Cons: Here's a lot to say. 1) staff answered emails with usefulness information. 2) there's no free parking at the property and absolutely no information about it if you self check in. Later we found that there's public free parking but before 5:30 am. 3) the room is very poor, bathroom door was broken and very very old furniture. 4) we were overcharged for the room but since we arrived at night and it's non-refundable we had to take it. Later the manager asks your bank details to send back what's overcharged. 5) they charge for wifi, I didn't even expect such hotels will charge for wifi as this is 5 star hotel. 6) no one works at the reception, we had to call the hotel to talk to the manager who isn't even at the hotel (it was at 10 am). It was the worst hotel I've stayed in Europe so far.
5.8 Okay

Cons: No airconditioning
