Very nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again. Courtyard in back was beautiful and a relaxing way to end the day.
This hotel is a great place to stay near Pagosa Springs if you aren't looking for frills. + Room was clean and beds comfortable + Easy access to Pagosa Springs + Restaurants in walking distance + Breakfast included + Airconditioning works + Reasonable rates + Great housekeeping - Included breakfast is not very interesting, just sweet rolls, bread, hardboiled eggs, and cereal. Coffee was watery. Attempts to cook oatmeal didn't work because microwave was too powerful and styrofoam bowls melted - Included shampoo in blister pack wasn't enough for my party. - Indoor pool is small - Owner/husband was a bit surly when I asked for a delay to the 10am checkout. - Exercise room is not complete
This is an inexpensive place to stay, but service was very good.
Our stay at the Econolodge was great! The room was just fine - clean, comfortable and the bed was super. The staff was responsive and friendly. The free breakfast was fabulous with lots of choices, both hot and cold. This was a good stay for the cost!
guy at the front desk was rude. Everything else was ordinary, nothing special.
Ok hotel. Very worn, but actually clean enough. Definitely a budget hotel, cheap mattresses, flimsy blankets, but it was clean and that is always my main concern.
The good: the room was clean/adequate; the staff pleasant; grounds pretty The bad: no coffeepot; no wifi; NO ice on second floor - very inconvenient; unable to receive the tv channels claimed by hotel; breakfast a ''bit'' disappointing (on the lowest end of continental) The ugly: unable to stop the bubble bath water from draining out - two reasonably intelligent adults had a go of it to no avail (this is big to me); the fitness room was locked w/no hours posted. Does one have to ask permission and get the staff to ''let you in'' to work out? Not my style. The ugliest: Imagine my dismay when I bounced downstairs to take my morning hot tub soak and the spa/pool area has the most unreasonable hours posted - 3:00 p.m. to 10:00. p.m. I was so disappointed! Now tell me, why would the pool area not open up until late afternoon? I've never heard of this before. The door was actually locked. Later in the morning (as I'm packing my car to leave), I notice a whole family (including two babies) enjoying the hot tub and pool. How and why did they get in? Again, does one have to ask for special permission to ''break the rules''? Again, NOT my style. I don't want to have to ask questions, track down staff, or make a BIG deal out of a quick little workout or a relaxing hot tub soak. Takes the FUN right out of it! Some of the ''bad'' of this hotel wouldn't have been enough to keep me away but when I add all of the bad w/the ugly and the ugliest, I do not see myself booking this hotel next time.
Been there every year for past 3 years during spring break ski season. Rooms are clean. Very friendly staff. It's a little further than the other hotel/motels, but it's close to the restaurant, grocery store, also the hardware store is next door, they have snow sleds. Steakhouse down the street is also good place to eat.
EconoLodge in Pagosa Springs offers clean rooms for skiers that are looking for a place to crash after a day on the slopes. There are not a lot of amenities and the continental breakfast is light on offerings, but for an overnight sleeping spot it was okay.
This hotel is clean and friendly. It's a little out of the way, but worth the drive. It's near eating and shopping.
