right on the plaza
its location is fantastic and the atmoshphere in the bar is superb parking is difficult if you have a big car
Lovely old hotel overlooking city square
The staff were charming, the room was comfortable and the bar was great fun.
An OK Hotel in the middle of the city, close to the important monuments of the city.
fantastic location overlooking the square.
The hotel is located in the main square of the town, you get out on the balcony and see everything. Very nice. And the staff was very accomodating...we booked only one night, but because our schedule changed, they let us stay in the same room the next night, when we asked.
Excellent central location
Isabelle the hostess was delightful and very concerned that we were happy and had everything we needed. The rooms and apartment were decorated with real style and skill. The ecolodge rooms were inside a beautiful old stone house. The room we stayed in was superbly decorated with a beach theme and very comfortable. The only thing we didn't realize is that this is a room in a family home, like a bed and breakfast. Our room was right next to the family kitchen, which even didn't feel as if it was private enough for us. The other thing, is that this house is close to a road and behind the roadhouse owned by the ecolodge owners. We had visions of an ecolodge being in a forest or a quiet place and not on a small but fairly busy road, behind a roadhouse.
Friendly, helpful staff. Very effective double glazing that cut out all noise from the pedestrianised plaza below our bedroom. The hotel was a short walk from the bus station. Breakfast was very Spanish with not much to our taste.
This is a lovely new hotel in the center of Astorga. A beautiful atmosphere and lot of thought has been put in to it, on every detail. The staff is very friendly. Really highly recommendable.
A wonderfull place to spend a day or two in Astorga An old family house turned in a luxury hotel.Breakfast is o.k. too.
Excellent breakfast amazing choices. Really difficult to find even with sat nav.
Clean, comfortable room, good WiFi, very helpful management, large garden area and public rooms available to guests, very good buffet breakfast. Very relaxing setting and a limited number of rooms and guests make it a nice change from a typical hotel. Highly recommend it! TV was in common area, not in hotel room.
The room itself was very comfortable. It was extremely difficult to find, even with a map. To get there one has to drive up a pedestrianised street.
The room was clean and the staff was helpful. It was hard to find due to the town's one way system, not much one can do about that though!
spacious rooms, friendly staff, very nice atmosphere in the hotel, good breakfast. No minibar available in the room, small parking space. Hotel is not on the hotel signs in the streets.
a haven of tranquillity and the suite bedrooms are wonderful overlooking a patio with water features. A stunning hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the town. no
An exquisite hotel (old mansion turned into a wonderful place) with very friendly staff. A nice and quiet place to relax.
The restaurant and the extremely helpful and pleasant staff
Staff was excellent Far from town, reception closed at night, it would have been nice if they told us so we could have taken the keys. Rooms too hot and stuffy upon arrival. A little shabby and run down.
The friendly staff in particular the bar and resturant staff who despite our language differences welcomed us warmly and gave us every assistance. It is perhaps unfortunate, but an english translation of the menu would be helpful to us, who do not have much knowledge of Spanish.
The waiter in the restaurant was first class Location of the hotel was not as expected, it was in an industrial area.
everything the food was incredibly good the staff were great the whole ambience was excellent.
Easy to find and convenient for an overnight stop. Good restaurant. Depite its solid appearance, there was a lot of noise from adjoining rooms.
communication was difficult
Room was clean. Conveniant access to A6. This is really a motel rather than a rustic hotel.
Staff was helpful Hotel was too far from town. Rooms were too hot and stuffy at arrival. A little run down for a 3-star hotel. Breakfast was too expensive for what was offered, no bread, little selection.
Location -3miles from anywhere. Unhelpful staff
good service; kidness, clean, modern, calm, beautiful decoration no phone in the room
Friendly and helpful staff Good atmosphere Excellent food and drink
Lovely hotel, beautifully furnished. Good value. A shame the restaurant only opened for dinner at 9.30pm - so not really suitable for small children (although they did do a good menu infantil) - Breakfast was also late- from 9,30am - so again - not ideal for the kids.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nice hotelbar frequented by locals as well as guests. Totally quiet countryside. Floor heating in bathroom. Sound isolation room-to-room non-existant. Too much smell of air-freshener in room. Breakfast a bit on the ascetic side. But allover a very nice place to stay.
Clean and close to main route as stopover Their restaurant is closed and the Hotel appears to be on the market. It was very hard to find in a small village. Neither Sat Nav or your route got us too close
Hotel staff not especially helpfull reguarding the evening meal although the revceptionst was brilliant
Lovely small family-run hotel. Excellent value. Probably the friendliest, most helpful hotel we ever stayed in. They speak only a little English, but no deterrent to their helpfulness, and ensuring that we explored the best of the surrounding countryside - interesting villages, mountain scenery, etc. Weekday fixed price lunch is excellent value. Dinner menu looked good but rather rmore expensive. Everything was perfect for us. Especially being in a small quiet village in the countryside. But doubtless some visitors will prefer a busy town/city location with lots of bars and nightlife etc. If so, this may not be for you.
The restaurant in the evening run by the friendly lady owner was enjoyable and the meal of high quality. The Wi-Fi worked in our room (No. 4). It's in the middle of nowhere, in a village road beside the motorway, so we were able to park out front, even though the description says not. For a very cheap hotel it's surprisingly good, and better than it looks from the outside. The breakfast is not available until 9.15 and it isn't worth the wait. There is only a tiny sign on the B&B and we drove by it twice, trying to find the place without realising we had already arrived.
AC in room
