convenience & comfort
Beautiful roof terrace, room was comfortable and bigger than expected. Bath was dirty and shower pressure was very weak.
Central location in the old town of the city. Very nice reception desk staff.
Nice room. Not very big with nice terrace. Very good breakfast. Globally a beautiful classic hotel. Thw water wasn't draining away in the shower. Some ventilation problem in the room.
Breakfast ! We have a ruine house front of the windows...!!
Friendly helpful staff. Convenient central location
The ambience and location of the hotel. Staff were very helpful, especially the bar staff. We loved our stay there; it was one of the best hotels we stayed in during three weeks' travel around Italy. The water pressure in our shower on the 4th was inadequate.
Staff at desk. Very inpolite and unhelpful.
The location was excellent for sightseeing. The hotel was quite beautiful and the breakfast was very good. The staff was not particularly helpful or friendly. The hotel was attractive but not particularly enticing or comfortable. Our room was substandard dark and dreary.
The balconies they have in each room. A nice break. The rooms were basic, good but not wow. The breakfast was pretty unimpressive!
Parking Terrible. Clastrophobic room, near a construction site in the day, and a club in the night - so noisy!
Excellent central location, friendly and helpful staff, powerful air conditioning, great showers Noisy at night from night clubs, sufficient to affect two of our party with rooms overlooking these
the location the "continental breakfast"
Very good location: it was close to Quattro Canti and all the major Palermo sites are easily accessible. The hotel is managed by a family and everybody was very friendly. It is an excellent Price for Value. The breakfast could have been more various, but for such a price, it was understandable. The room was noisy, especially from Thursday when a bar played loud music.
Central location excellent as just a couple of minutes from 4 Corners and close to Teatro Massimo, tourist sights and lively alfresco eating area at night time.Room was clean and balcony had views of Mt.Pellegrino.Family staff very friendly and generally helpful. Room a bit small.Air-Con wasn't the best considering the heat.Breakfast frugal(coffee and croissant).
nice staff, central location in an old town, many bars and restaurants nearby, walking distance to main historic attractions no lift, it is difficult if you have a heavy bag
The room was basic, practical and very clean and comfortable I was asked for passport and expected to leave it at Reception without any knowledge of when it would be returned as hotel manager, I didn't speak Italian, hotel manager no English, frustrating.. Breakfast was very paltry, tea awful (powdered I think); warmed up fresh pastry, nice but no alternative, but acceptable.Thank you
Very basic facilities and not easy to find. Despite the nice staff, not value for the money
The family maneger It is not find easily,
A central location for those travelling on a budget. Staff were very friendly. Extra plus was the secure lock up garage 50m down the road.
Very helpful staff. There is no normal Internet connectivity. Poor breakfast.
Situated at the end of the best street market in Palermo. Nightlife on the doorstep amazing (though not for the timid). Balcony views of the street and a secluded little roof garden were a bonus. Excellent place for those looking for a genuine taste of Sicily. The hotel entrance off the street was confusing and daunting at first. The choice of dark stairs or a lift that seemed initially closed (though when you rattled the door someone activated it from above) being the only entrance to the hotel. Some large explanetary notices would have been helpful here.
Their genuine courtesy Lots of stairs, lift a bit hidden
The staff were very very helpful and the atmosphere around the nearby market friendly and lively
centraql location for sightseeing not easy to find by car and very loud during the night
Price. The sfaff was helpful. Location: though it was not far from one of the central streets (Via Vittorio Emanuele) and main places of interest, the district near hotel was rather awful. But I think its typical for Palermo.
