I strayed here with my husband and two kids ages 3 and 7. It was clean and up to date. U can walk to and from the airport and the market. It's about $20 can ride into town. Clean and up to date
Close to airport. Bathroom light did not work and toilet seat broken. We did not complain at this time as we arrived at midnight.
The Hotel was good, clean and with many services (internet, breakfast included, coffe water and juise alwais available for free). It is very close to the airport but on a very high hill... so It was necessary to take a taxi and we paid 15 euro to do less than 300 meters!! that's crazy!! and this is the official taxi fare... maybe the hotel should organize a shuttle bus for the airport, otherwise it is more convenient to sleep in Papeete, so you can have bar and restourants close by, and you pay the same fare to go to the airport
Ideal proximity to the airport. You can actually walk from the hotel to the airport without using a taxi. Ideal for early morning flights. Car hire firms are also at the airport. Perfect for one night stays. Not brilliant for local restaurants. There is an OK chinese nearbye.
Close to the airport and transportation into the city.
The staff were helpful. Good location. The place was tough to find. No signs and in pitch black. Which is odd because you can see it plain as day in front of you, but you can't find the way in. The driveway wasn't lit and the front porch was covered in dog shit. The rooms are sparse, no blankets and the sheets were dirty. Breakfast was a bit of a joke. Canned fruit and cornflakes.
Excellent location, directly facing the airport, easy to reach by foot even with your luggage, therefore ideal for late night arriving flights. Nice, modern, clean room. It does not have lift and to carry our suitcases to the 4th floor was a bit of work.
Very clean, stylish and functional. The room is of a good size, and the bathroom has a shower curtain. Had a good view over Moorea. Wifi was free. The cable channels are all in French. There needs to be some English channels. The path up to the hotel is too steep and the concrete is rough. This needs to be smoothed. There are also a lot of steps to pull your suitcase over. There is no soap, just shower gel. There needs to be a proper bar of soap. The aircon tends to blow over the bed so you may need to shut off the aircon in the night.
The grounds were the best part of our experience. They were beautiful and well maintained. The different pools were a nice part of the experience also with the infinity pool ending at the ocean and the pool with the sand covered bottom and swim-up bar. Even though we were forewarned about the food and drink prices being very high, it was still a shock to see a mixed drink costing over $20. The food prices were high, but the portions are large enough that we were able to split a meal between us.
Perfect location if you are on Tahiti for 1-3 days. Close to the airport or ferry. Plus, the resort is absolutely beautiful. Truly magical.
The room was very nice and had comfortable beds, quiet setting, and nice wash room. This is a tired hotel; the grounds and common areas were at one time (maybe 1960's) nice. Now its old and worn out - not what I expected for the money.
everything old needs upgraded

The views were breathtaking and the amenities top notch. The staff were warm and very helpful. Nothing really - but the costs of food and drinks was extremely high - paying for the view I guess.
Enchanting trip to exotic Tahiti. Adventuresome journey in Australia.
The pools were awesome! One pool was half swimming pool / half ocean lagoon with fish where you could snorkel and the other swimming pool was a sand-bottom infinity pool looking out onto the ocean. AMAZING! The cleaning staff and concierge were super nice The check-in staff and food staff were not as friendly. They were pleasant but did not make us feel as welcome as the concierge and cleaning staff.
Other than the airport, most everything else is a transportation challenge to get to. If you are big on swimming or laying in the sun, this place is nice but for most everything else, you need to be on another island. Tahiti and especially Papeete is a business center, not exotic Polynesia. I might ad that we have have full days of rain for our entire visit. P.S. this survey is a pain to complete.
absolutely gorgeous. Fresh water pool and a natural pond with beautiful fish that you could swim with.
Beautiful, clean, classy, good staff, and excellent accommodation. No.
Conveniently located to airport. Check in was at 2:00. We arrived at 11:00 from Bora Bora. Absolutely would not allow us to check in until 2:00. Gift shop was not open during any of the wait time. They gave us a voucher for a free 'cocktail' at the tiki bar. Bar said juice only.
comfy bed. the things I needed.
The price and proximity to downtown The graffiti on the side of the building
Very close to downtown Pape'ete and close to the docks. Room simple but clean and nicely functional DARK hallways, no restaurant, no English channel on the TV (only French)
Most staff were great, going the extra mile, rooms are huge and well appointed. Night staff not so good. Wi-Fi was out and they refused to look into it. Towels are like sand paper and first room tv didn't work and no tolist paper dispenser. Little things that make it miss its apparent aim of being top notch. Area is a little sketch, fine if you have a car. If not then for women or cautious people I would stay elsewhere.
Very accommodating and helpful. Great place to crash in Papeete for a few nights. Snort walk to everywhere :)
Nice pool. Tropical and lush. 3 star hotel, not even close to 5 star which they advertise. Overpriced rooms, food, and drink. Advertise free wifi but you must relogin every 30 minutes. Hotel tried to charge early departure fee when we left early and had already paid in full. The day we were there, hotel had 170 day pass users that used the facilities hotel guests should have had. Someone even took the pads off our pool lounges while we were in the pool. Advertised two restaurants and one was closed for lunch even though that menu said open everyday for lunch and dinner. Just disappointed to pay over $550/night for this when it should have been $200. Lesson learned and won't be back
The views were nice and there were shops within walking distance. The hotel was very outdated and the staff had trouble communicating. Food selection was not very good.
The facilities were great. The Staff as helpful as could be. Food was very good. Proximity to the airport. Do not stay here on a Saturday night if you get an outside room anywhere near the restaurant. Firstly, the room is on a noisy street. It was Saturday so there was a band that played late into the night. The restaurant had an outside patio where people partied loudly all night. We complained twice but nothing happened. 4.30 AM wake up call to catch an early flight left us with no sleep. $ 190 for a night like that was a disaster.
Friendly helpful staff greeted us at 7 AM for an early arrival at no extra charge. Mostly French but they understand English. We had a beach view room which was truly a suite including large ling room, small kitchenette bathroom, separate toilet and nice bedroom. The infinity pool is lovely but not much beach. All the TV stations are in French. Food prices were extremely high but a nice, clean local place is just across the street and gives you a local flavor for food. The shuttle to town is only $7 pp each way.
Location of hotel in heart of Papette is convenient location. However I did not find the reception staff overly helpful when our Air France departure flight was cancelled on Friday, Sept 25 and did not fly out until Sunday Sept 27 at 3:00 am. Location of our room was on main avenue and very noisy. Also the sliding glass door to the balcony would not lock so they delivered a piece of wood to jam in the door frame. Whilst the room was large is was impersonal. the room and the hotel in general was very dark.
Rooms modern, clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Ideally situated to walk to center of town with Public Market etc. Also in walking distance to Ferry/Cruise Ship terminals - but not with suitcases due to street construction and heavy traffic Mountain view and side rooms are quiet. Rooms facing street have traffic noise all night long....
Not a bad choice when you need a Ferry the next day. Location is great but the air conditioning is noisy. The hallways and elevator is horribly HOT! Bed was comfortable but TV is all in French.
Simple but Friendly. Could use some updating Needs updating
I was at Farehau for one night following along travel day. The staff at Farehau picked me up at the airport ( a real bonus) and took me to their home. The house was very comfortable, set high on a hill overlooking the city and water. My room was nice and cool and very clean. In the morning there was breakfast waiting in the kitchen and it was yummy. Their was a huge deck with comfortable chairs. The house is in a residential neighborhood that is overrun with roosters. So they were a bit loud but that didn't really bother me...I used earplugs and sandwiched my head between pillows. Being a tropical island I expect there to be many new sounds especially form the resident fauna!
