Pros: Set just off the motorway in the middle of beautiful countryside. Very helpful staff and Home made breakfast made this stay well worth it.
Pros: Biodiversity garden, views, wonderful breakfast of home-made cakes and jams and above all the warm welcome from Annalisa.
Pros: One of the best B&B places I have ever been. Amazing host, awesome breakfasts mainly home made, very comfortable room, fully equiped, huge help with everything, beautiful and calm surrounding. When we left we immediately wanted to come back. And we definitely will!
Pros: We had a wonderful stopover on our way back from Sicily. It is the perfect spot, a short 4.5 hours from the ferry from Messina, up in the hills with guaranteed cooler temperature and a wonderfully comfortable night. The innkeeper is very friendly and prepares a delicious home made breakfast, jams to die for, straight from the garden. We will most certainly return .
Pros: Annelisa is a lovely, warmhearted person, caring for every detail. The whole house is like a warm hug. Kind dogs and selfmade bread and organic jam makes a delicious breakfast! Thank you, Annelisa, hope to come back and experience more from the surroundings! What an amazing place you live!

Pros: Very nice and recently renewed house placed in a strategic position to visit Pollino National Park. We booked the bedroom with terrace, absolutely lovely, big, comfortable and the view from the terrace is really beautiful. Mario tips have been fundamental for our stay. Swimming pool with nice view and really necessary after a trekking or biking day. We definitely recommend it and we look forward to coming back. Thank you Mario
Pros: Beautifully restored large traditional house set slightly outside of town in a beautiful natural environment. We had an apartment to ourselves within the house. Very, very comfortable extra large bed (probably queen size or more) with stunning mountain views from all the windows. Bathroom was also very large and modern. Lovely décor in the rooms and house. Our host was a knowledgeable, friendly, quietly spoken gentleman who recommended a wonderful restaurant and gave interesting information regarding the local area. He prepared a comprehensive Italian breakfast.
Pros: The surrounding nature views are breathtaking. Room was very clean and spacious and the terrace was very nice.
Cons: Breakfast. It was cold in the room, as the outside temperature was around 17 °C. The B&B is further from the town (Mormanno), you'll need to take a car to visit it as well as have dinner at some restaurant.
Pros: Beautiful location, room with balcony had lovely view. Used as an overnight stay when travelling to Sicily. Would highly recommend.
Pros: Mario was a great host and tried everything to make it comfortable for us.
Pros: Make sure you come in from the auto strada. Otherwise it is a lovely long drive over the mountains.
Cons: Make sure you come in from the auto strada. Otherwise it is a lovely long drive over the mountains.
Pros: THe bed was super comfy, the room very big and clean and great. Plus, the terrace was great. The staff kind and discreet, just perfect.
Pros: Really nice apartment and outstanding location!! We enjoyed swimming pool even in early October for free.
Cons: Everything was perfect!!
Pros: We spent a short but tremendously enjoyable day at Il Casino di Donna Maria as a short stop on our motorbike trip through Italy. And what a break it was, soaking up the evening sun on the pool terrace as well as on our room balcony overlooking the absolutely stunning view. The communication was prompt, the room perfectly clean, and the accommodation is only a short (and stunning) fifteen minute walk to the town where we ate to our heart's content at one of the local pizzerie. Mario very kindly went out of his way to ensure we were completely at home. We would highly recommend for a relaxed break away.
Pros: This is a beautiful place located in Northern Calabria: An old, family-owned country house overlooking fruit trees and mountains. It only has three rooms so it is the perfect place for a quiet holiday in the mountains. We absolutely LOVED it and would definitely come back - also, for the pool that was being built while we were there :).

Pros: The little dog Tobia and the carrot cake
Pros: Was a real great time in this place, great location, pristine, one of the best that I have been, Mrs. Pina was wonderful hosted. Took care of me and my wife in Mormanno
Pros: A wonderful place to stay with very friendly hosts. The living space has been beautifully renovated and is in the heart of the small town. I truly enjoyed my one-night stay here and the breakfast was homemade, which was a treat and, of course, delicious. And there is a wonderful restaurant next store. I chose this place at the last minute and I'm glad I did.
Pros: The personal attention and high standards. Interesting design. The opportunity to get a feel for small town life in Italy. There were good restaurants a few feet away and parking a very short walk.
Cons: no issues
Pros: Beautifully restored family home..fabulous breakfast..very lovely hosts
Pros: Wonderful stay in this beautiful and charming old house, which is renovated with love and style. There is nothing we could complain about. The whole family was lovely and they showed us great hospitality. The room was cosy with very comfy bed and good shower. The breakfast was full of tastes, mostly sweet but a very delicious, with lots of homemade products. And we liked the old and attractive village, which stood quite high above surrounding beautiful landscape. Also we liked the friendly people in village. For example we didn't find the right door straight away and asked one signorina for help. She didn't know the place but asked from other women, who started to consider where it might be, and before the answer was found, there came a very polite signor, who knew the right b&b and took us to the right door, ringed doorbell and told the owner that there were some quests. Next morning on our walk we met the same gentleman and he asked if we remember him and chatted shortly as a friends :D We remember our stay with smile.
Cons: Leaving. Only one night there was far too little.
Pros: It was like staying at a friends house. Pina and Ottavio have a unique place in the middle of Mormanno next to the church. The designer interieur was simply astonishing, the rooms with their seperate bath room are cute and functional. The breakfast is just outstanding and Pina is a really good cook: With a variety of different local cakes she surprised us every morning. If you ever wanted to see how a fluffy white dog looks like from bottom view, you have to go there: He usually lays on a glas walk on the second level that you can always see. ;-) Pina and Ottavio also provide many guides to the national park and also have suggestions where to go. Fully recommended!

Pros: Beautiful working farm, idyllic location and views. Hosts are kind and welcoming. Lovely traditional breakfast made from scratch and from the farm.
Pros: Even if we are not used to have big breakfast, there was a nice offer with hand made marmelade and juices. It is located in the country side in a farm with sheeps, pigs, dogs.... As we were travelling with our dog, who enjoys staying with other dogs, the location was really great. The hosts Filomena and Giovanni gave us a very warm wellcome. The room was rather big and the bathroom equipped with all what you need, without being luxury.

Pros: Peaceful surroundings, the accommodations were comfortable and simple and the host very welcoming.
Cons: Lack of air conditioning would have made our stay perfect. It was hot the 2 night we were there and had a difficult time sleeping because of the heat.
Set on a hill overlooking the village of Mormanno in the Pollino National Park, B&B Il Fruscio offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and an LCD TV. A sweet homemade breakfast is served daily. The Il Fruscio B&B is situated in the Costapiana area, 800 metres from the centre of Mormanno. The A3 Motorway exit is 6 km away.
Pros: The landlady was extremely nice and welcoming, even though she did not expect us (the booking somehow was not noticed). She also prepared some home-made cakes for breakfast.
Cons: The situation is wonderful with an impregnable view, but it is some 20 min away by foot from the centre of the village where cafes and restaurants are. Not a big deal though.
Pros: The owner was charming and very attentive. She allowed us to check in late and provided an amazing breakfast the next morning.

Pros: This is a great place to stay. The Parco Pollini is nearby and offers great hiking and sightseeing. The people who run this facility are just outstanding. They are so helpful and kind. It is very easy to find. You will not regret staying here. We highly recommend it.
Cons: We were totally pleased.
Pros: Super good food was served. We had dinner and a rich breakfast. The location is very calm and allows for walking, hiking and biking nearby. Great place to stop and relax!
Pros: The restaurant and hospitality are excellent
Cons: No internet in the bedroom is a bother!!
Pros: The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious and a great selection.
Cons: The activities weren’t as we thought and could be better described. We were not able to do horse riding and biking as easily as we thought we could but we did find other activities close by that we could participate in.
Pros: Very good breakfast and diner. Cosy restaurant. Friendly staff.
Cons: Basic room, welcoming can be improved. Not all staff members speak a foreign language.
Pros: Location was gorgeous, staff were very hospitable!
Cons: The wifi wasnt working unfortunately.
Pros: Excellent Agritourismo with friendly, helpful staff and an excellent kitchen. Home made pasta and rustic meals in popular cosy country restaurant. It’s just outside the national park but an easy drive to Rotonda and Viggianello. Many locals coming to eat there which confirms its quality. Had adequate amount of off road parking and unlimited on road parking. Has pool though we didn’t use it. Nice breakfast. English not much spoken but everybody tries to understand and gets by.
Cons: Room (as often in Italy) a little bit gloomy for UK taste. Hoped to be able to walk out more from hotel but countryside a bit impenetrable.
Pros: Fabulous spot high up the mountain side with panoramic views of the national park, very forested in this section. We explored the lake a short drive away and sensed neglect for upkeep and complete abandonment by tourist organisation - boarded up buildings, etc however didn't spoil our walk around it and great display of wildflowers, bees, butterflies, dragonflies, small lizards, etc and the swallows swooping down to the water surface. The staff were very friendly at our agriturismo though knew only a smattering of English but that was fine. Locals used the restaurant which created a jolly atmosphere. Very quiet location, even though there is a road right in front, possibly because the autostrada has diverted all the traffic. Fabulous fresh, local food and wine served at meals. Loved the pool.
The B & B Miralonga Lao Valley is located in the green valley of the river Lao overlooking the Shrine of Our Lady of Constantinople. In a house with a garden terrace on the ancient medieval village of Papasidero, the heart of the Pollino National Park. You will dive into a "little piece of paradise" where nature is the host. We have a large free parking, given the short distance from the waters of the river Lao (100m) and the rafting company, Happy Lao and rafting Rafting yahooo Calabria, located in the country you can also say goodbye to the car. You can choose to spend a holiday by the sea staying in the hinterland of the Tirreno Cosentino since there are roughly only 23 km from the sea waters of Scalea, 24 Km from the Great Arch beaches of San Nicola Arcella and 29 Km from the island of Dino located in Praia a Mare.
Pros: We had a perfect stay in B&B miralonga. We had a very warm welcome and immediately felt at home. We were served an excellent breakfast and dinner. Location was great, beautiful view on the village and the mountains. Grazie!
Cons: Everything was perfect!
Pros: What a gem! We were traveling south from Praiano with friends and decided to try something a little different from the usual coastal journey. While only a short journey in kms it’s a little windy and the village typical with narrow streets, but “boy” worth the effort. The b&b is run by mum (Maria), dad (Enzo) and daughter (Enis). We were welcomed with complimentary coffee and homemade biscotti. The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated and the view over the old town gorgeous. We arrived on the day of the national holiday and there were heaps of locals having lunch. We decided to stay for dinner and what a treat! Breakfast was even better. Thanks Maria, Enzo and Enis for making Papasidero such a wonderful experience. Gary Tura Beach Australia

Pros: Our hosts were so welcoming! The room and home are beautiful! We appreciated the snack when we arrived. Breakfast was fabulous with sweet and savory options and eggs! Location was lovely in the old part of town.
Pros: The owners were lovely considering the language barrier, very helpful
Pros: The property was good but the photo of the room, which appear on its publication on bookings.com are nothing like what it realy is. A little further away than I though and the road to the property is not the best. Breakfast was poor and not up to standard, not meeting the advertised notice in the room
Cons: Breakfast not as advertised poor room not as seen on photo on bookings.com
Pros: Angelo was a great host. We were lost and he came to meet us and take us to our cosy place.
Pros: Very nice room, modern and clean bathroom, nice host with funny hat.
Cons: It was a little hard to locate the object, and we had to climb quite a lot od stairs.

Pros: Everything has been excellent, from people to food. Great value, especially breakfast.
Pros: This is a perfect place to be while visiting Pollino National Park. The location is ideal, and the facilities were much better than I expected, specially for the kids. The breakfast is exceptional, all home-made. The owners also offered to prepare dinner for us as the village does not have much option, and it was amazing!
Pros: The lady was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was abundant.
Cons: Don't forget to withdraw cash before you arrive as you cannot pay by card and the village has no cash point or restaurant.

Pros: The owner is very friendly and accommodating, he doesn’t speak any English but goes to great lengths to help and be understood. The evening meal is home cooked and excellent, traditional Italian cooking and the tables are arranged on a terrace with the most stunning view to the hills opposite
Pros: I liked the silence and the sight on the nature. Good courtesy of the owners. Original shuttle service for connecting to the parked car (there is no parking close to the place).
Cons: The room was small and the bathroom severely small. The remote control for the A/C not available for free (5€). But I remember the website mentioned A/C among the features. Limited breakfast.
Pros: Very disappointing.manager most unpleasant. Bathroom terrible.everything in room about to fall apart. Food atrocious.
Cons: Views.waiting staff pleasant.
Pros: This hotel is a treasure find in this beautiful village. It is set in the heart up narrow cobbled streets. We were met by the very friendly owner who did everything possible to make our stay special. The room we had was spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The views from the terrace are amazing. We ate in the hotel restaurant tasting the home made produce and had the best meal we have had so far in Italy! The best stop of our stay so far. . Just wonderful!
Pros: The small town is just adorable and beautiful. The food in the hotel's restaurant was very good and the padron very friendly, Price / quality was very good.
Cons: The hotel has seen its best days some decades ago and seemed a bit neglected.
Pros: The town is beautiful and the most friendly Italians we have come across.
Cons: No English was spoken. Breakfast was very poor. It consisted of a croissant with jam and sweet biscuits. The owner wanted to charge 5 euro a night for air-conditioning but in the end when I showed him what the site said he reluctantly agreed to give us the controller and not charge us extra.
Pros: Friendly people
Cons: Don't try to drive to the place, leave your car in a parking spot and walk there. There is no room for a car in the narrow "streets". But that's the beauty of Aieta anyway. I had a motorcycle and just about managed. Also lack of speaking any language other than Italian.
