The location was excellent. It is right by the Luxembourg gardens and very central to everything else. They also did feed you breakfast daily which consisted of bread and jam and some tea or coffee.
The bathrooms were not in the room. There was no air conditioning. They pillows they gave you should not even be considered pillows. The craziest thing of all is that they have two cats just roaming the halls and constantly coming into your room every time you open the door. Personally we didn't mind them and they were actually very friendly but they need to warn people about them because if you have allergies you would not make it here. It is also very loud. Overall it wasn't too bad for the money and the location made it all worth it. But this is defiantly not your four seasons.
Great location in a safe and not touristy neighbourhood. Easily reached by RER from CDG airport. There were 2 metro (Notre Dame deChamps and Vavin) stops in less than 5 minutes walking distance. Breakfast was simple but enough. I would definitely want to stay here again.
The hallway at the entrance of the building can be dark in the evening.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was fantastic, it was fun to stay in a "residence" instead of a hotel for a change (like a cross between someone's apartment, a hostel and a B&B) and the price was excellent.
This accommodation was perfect for our purposes (three friends sharing a room on a city break) but wouldn't be the place to stay for a romantic weekend away as it's perhaps a bit basic for that! Great for us and families though.
Great location, good view from the balcony in 4th floor room, easy to book online and good mixture of guests.
One terrible member of staff on reception who was typically difficult, seemed like everything he did was a huge favour. Not a great breakfast to be honest - how much can it cost to get a bulk load of croissants and pain au chocolats from a wholeseller?
the emplacement was great, nice building and rooms.
Residence Du Palais was a great value. Low prices, helpful staff, great location. It certainly isn't a hotel or resort, but that's not what I was expecting. It was a lovely residence in the heart of Paris.
The shower had a glass door, not a curtain, which made it awkward to shower with other people in the room. There was a modesty screen the first night, which would have fixed the problem, but it disappeared the second night.
