The best thing I liked about the hotel was leaving Hotel Roi Rene and absolutely nothing else, worst place I have ever stayed and it heavily dampened my first visit to Paris
BEWARE...Hotel manager billed my card in advance for 5 nights stay without my permission.I Checked out after the first night because heating did not work and we were cold.Hotel couldn't give me another room and still refuses to refund my money. The manager is rude and unconcerned about the guests, bed dished/worn-out/uncomfortable and low on floor, old sheets, old scratchy and sweaty nylon blankets, old flat pillows, paper thin walls:can hear couples at it in other rooms, room keys access multiple rooms and not secure,cash/passport lockup broken, curtains bagged/hung by few hooks, room decor awful and depressing, worn dirty speckled carpeting,no hook in shower for shower rose, bed cover old and dirty, the room felt unhygienic
The only one thing that can be liked connecting with this hotel is the nearby - is a lovely zone, with cosy shops, green parc, nice streets.About the rom, the only thing approximatively ok was the lingerie of beds, but it was not being changed for the 5 days on my staying here.
Everything was poor and the staff was lazzy, without any skills for this occupation, unless speaking some english, the room very small, the bath was poor and cheap, ugly towels, much noise, elevator very very small.
Good convenient location for sightseeing
