I only liked the politeness and good nature of the reception staff. Cramped and old rooms. They definitely need refurbishing. Obsolete and old furniture as well as bath equipment. Extremely unstable beds (they would skid with the slightest move) and hard as a rock matresses. Too much noise from the early hours (doors slamming, cleaning trays moving, people talking, public works outside and other undescribable noises) that would make the guest sleep-deprivated !!!
I found the concierge very informative and helpful. Having access to free internet was very useful. Being so close to the Metro was good. The roadworks going on around rather detracted from the occasion (not the hotel's fault I know). A better selection for people with gluten allergy would have been helpful - particularly the lunch/dinner menu.
Very convenient to Metro (Porte La Villette - line 7) Some Restaurant staff poor in English and therefore ignored us... (for so long we walked out...) Service seemed good for French speakers though.
I had business in that particular area of Paris, therefore I stayed there. For a short business stay it was fine. The Metro station was just next door and there were many restaurants around.
environmental is so dirty ,not safty, internet is expensive ,and not convenience,no tea and coffe,
a bit far from the center, approx 30 min by metro Clean and big rooms
The breakfast was quite good. The hotel is near the subway station (150 meters) The room wasn't clean, the bathroom was old and in general the room wasn't in good conditions. In my opinion it isn't a 4 stars hotel
The ease of getting around paris from the hotel. The metro is right out side the hotel front doors and on a main line direct into Paris centre.
Price/quality great, hotel is just as good as many other 4 star for half of price. Big room and I got a kingsize bed. Friendly reception, multi-lingual also dutch. Restaurant not so good, light is too bright and food was not so good, but staff was very nice.
The room was very large and the hotel was very close to the subway station. The door on the lobby won't open during late night. I had to knock on the door for over 3 mins in rainy night.
We had a large and clean room in the hotel there. It was close to the Metro and easy to get around town from there. My observations relate to the shower where the half section door was inadequate to retain splashing water while showering. As a North American we are not used to paying for internet service and certainly not the rate of 5Euros/ 15 mins. on a euro keyboard which is very different.
Comfort, services parking condition
Nice hotel, good location but not perfect, (Porte de Pantin station) Metro 5 in front of the hotel, easy access to most of visited places by changing 2 or 3 metros take from 20 to 30 min Good Hotel but we expected more from 4 star hotel
yes, very nice sauna, hannam, jacuzi and gym. Recepcionist very kindly offer to us to leave our baggage in hotel while visiting friends and after sign out from hotel. no, everything was fine
Not good hotel and the staff Yes, but you dont help your customer
The restaurant was nice, and had a variety of options to select. Close proximity to public transit (bus, metro, navette) Staff spoke a good amount of English The room was not very spacious. The pitiful size of the room was only emphasized by the bathroom. I say bathroom because it contained a sink, toilet and shower - but it was the size of a closet. In order to enter the shower, the bathroom door must be open. An awkward dance involving three doors just to take a shower. This could have been easily corrected during the most recent remodel (probably in early 2000's) with a solid curved shower door that slides back in towards the shower. (Keep that in mind Ibis, next remodel you should look for those)
The closeness to the Metro station The hotel room was very poor in comfort, looking, not at all like on the pictures.
Even though it was on main road we could not hear the traffic, room was very comfy and very warm and cosy.reception were very helpfull with directions.will definatly stay there again...
clean, warm, kitchenette
sightseeing inspite of the transportation strike, we walked for 2 hours to the city to so our shopping
Close to metro Very Noisy
Its great, the room (apartment suit) is huge and beautiful. very close to everywhere we want to visit. -
nothing. i will never comeback. the rooms are so small, and there is no difference if you take a double or a superior studio, both are same the only deferance is the price !
Facilities - fridge, microwave, food processor, cooker No airconditioning
well equipped kitchen
the facilities in the room, the space available, the discretion of the staff. the location is not the best, quite far form the center and the Metro lines are not easy to find.
Room was good No bar/ facilities Sat evening
the roadworks led to difficulty in accessing; lift was slow
Room comfortable, good location Unhelpful staff, bar and restaurant shut. On a Saturday.
Good room, very comfortable
Knowledgable and friendly staff. Close to Stade de France Easy parking under hotel Paintwork was tatty. Beware, all the signs point to the old hotel which is under renovation
short distance to metro rail staff was unfriendly and unhelpful to english speaking vistors, restaurant was closed as well as room service, totall disregard for do not disturb sign on door, thin walls and could constantly hear the adjoining rooms
The hotel had easy access to the Metro Hoche station. Staff was pleasant. Room was clean and location was sufficiently quiet. Tight space in room but to be expected in European rooms.
clean functional and close to my friends home in Paris expensive
Convenient location and secure car parking
Efficient, well-organised, reasonably smart and clean. A good hotel but not a complete luxury one. Access to car park was not clearly signalled and caused confusion to us and other guests.
Lifts out of order and room on 4th floor?
Very nice and helpful receptionists. The neighborhood where the hotel is situated is not very nice (it is quite dirty)
basic but clean accommodation in a very convenient location for an excellent price good for the price
responsive staff There was blocked money on my credit card for all days of accomodation without any notice.
Facilities are quite good especially tea making services and the carpark. If the room can be a bit bigger, it would be much better. There should be signs to direct drivers to find the hotel.
Ease of access from main roads without having to fight into central Paris - Metro outside the hotel meant we could get straight into the centre of Paris within 20 minutes from walking out the hotel door. Rooms a bit dated and showing signs of age
Close to the metro station, the hotel staff was helpfull, 'welcome' tea and coffee in the room poor sound isolation outside and inside, the window did not close well and the window sill was not very clean
nice breakfast buffet - no noice from crowdy street - close to metrostation which facilitates trip to enter Paris city louzy environment - no restaurants in near surrounding
Rooms are quit small. Don't let reception order taxi for you. From Hotel to port Marlote (bus station to Buivas aerport) approximately 10 min. drive they charged us 75 euro !.
It is easy to reach, within minutes of walk from Metro. The area has so many halal reastaurant and also has convenience shop. Nothing. It's allright for me.
clean room, friendly staff, lovely kitchen good to be home before 23 o'clock, don't know if the area is safe after this hour
Our room was clean and very comfortable with excellent facilities, also it was very close to the metro train system. The television did not have an English channel and also you could not use an european travel plug.
It was good location close to the Metro, Good price for a Paris hotel, Great parking in the cellar, lots of shops and restaurants in the area. The bed wasnt a real bed it was a convertible sofa that wasnt so comfortable. You couldnt controll the temperature in your room you had to ask the front desk.
I liked the fact that the staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel was a nice and quiet place for those who are not picky and just want a place to sleep. Not far from the Metro (hoche station). It's a little out of the way in a sort of rundown area with hardly any nightlife around (bars and clubs) for those who want to party.
The receptionists were fantastic. Very helpful and very knowledgable on the cities subway systems and time tables. The restaurant was also fantastic. in the month I have spent abroad I have never had such well prepared and cooked meat. It was very cheap in comparison to the rest of Paris and twice as nice. the room was very good for the price. The hotel is only about 5 mins walk from a tube station that heads into the city. Its so accessible, me and my partner never had problems travelling. The breakfast is quite expensive (not run by the restaurant) and also doesn't have cold milk?! This was the only let-down of the hotel.
friendly staff, clean rooms, good location Just once coffee in-room
fantastic staff is very snoob
The room is good size. I have the room with sofa bed. the bed is quite small for one person....
Sqeaky clean rooms. Very comfortable. Sofa beds, but dividable in two for best of both worlds for single traveler. Internet reception no good at end of halls. Had to move to a room at the center. Good signal there but had to log in often.
We found the room small but designed extremely well to accommodate a business person or couple staying overnight. Cusheon on sofa bed had a torn zipper and was very unsightly. Would be nice to have a little more room at end of beds between desk since banged our knees often.
