great hotel with kind and helpful staff. room was clean. very close to metro station and the supermarket (50-20 meters). good value for money the hotel is very close to the metro station however far from the city center so it took us about 25 minutes to reach city center (by metro)
Pictures of hotel rooms corresponds to the reality. Rooms are small but so comfortable, clean, breakfast is delicious. I very much liked the design of the hotel. We choose the hotel for its location very close to the Expo. Hotel has great access to the city centre by metro. We all enjoyed the stay at Virgina.
Gentillesse du staff Un peu de bruit.
The stuff spoke English and was very helpful. Everything was fine.
the staff were very kind.
Friendly staff. Hotel surroundings felt safe and were reasonably clean. Well connected to transport network. Nothing really. An elevator was small but show me a hotel in Paris with a spacious elevator cabin :)
Friendly staff. Small hotel with very basic facilities and very small rooms. Breakfast is not value for money. Bed is not very comfortable. Bathroom very small but clean.
Sincerely nothing cleaning (indecent carpeting in the bathroom there was hair stuck to the walls due to condensation), location (away from downtown), price (too high for the quality offered) and elevator (very small for two people)
The hotel was right next to the metro station, but a little far from the attractions about a 30 min ride. The hotel was extremely nice and clean. Staff was super friendly. The elevator was a little small and too far from where we would have liked to be, but can't complain since it was priced so well!
Friendly, helpful staff; great breakfast; right location Room could do with new wallpaper
Excellent location near Port d'Orleans Metro and RER B stations, nearby restaurants, clean, roomy, very quiet, excellent value. The mattress was a little worn out and sagging. Website lists laundry service, which seemed to be a laundromat down the road.
Very friendly staff with excellent English. The hotel is stylish and all rooms are well decorated. The rooms and breakfast areas are far too small. Our room was much smaller than you would expect from a 4* hotel.
Excellent customer service! Awesome quiet hotel. Very close to the metro which is easy to get around in. 15 min walking distance to Citi Universiti train stop that takes you directly into Charles d Gaul airport. Would like to stay here when we return to Paris. AC wasn't working but we opened the window which brought in a nice cool breeze. Besides the differences in the language everything was great.
We booked a room at Villa Royale Montsouris via Kayak, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The hotel is located outside the touristic heart of Paris, which was ideal for us. It was very quiet, and just a short walk from the beautiful Parc Montsouris. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. We highly recommend.
It was quiet, not far from transportation and the place where I had to go in the morning. The decoration is nice and original. there were no wardrobe, one lamp of side bed table didn't work and the remote control didn't work properly. The room is nice but not very big. And there is no cover bed... There is not coffee or tea facilities.
none You should update the number of stars and go down to less than 1 !
The quiet surroundings, the relatively small distance to a Metro station, the solicitude of the staff as well as the breakfast. Everything is unnecessarily small in the hotel (rooms, bathrooms, corridors, ...). We had some issues with the hotel concerning their laundry service, which was poorly held by one of the waiters. Neither the cleanness of the bathrooms nor the reposition of towels were always the best. Furthermore, despite being near to a Metro station, the hotel is too far from the city centre (about 25min by Metro). All said, is hard to understand why this hotel is classified as 4-star (3-star would be more appropriate in our opinion).
Sonja at front desk was extremely friendly and helpful, hotel was uniquely decorated and rooms were clean, air conditioning felt great, haridryer in bathroom, short 5 min walk to metro at Port d'Orleans stop, free parking on street in front of hotel, breakfast provided was good - simple continental. ( no hot eggs though )
It was very quiet It appears to be privately run and so it is out of the ordinary Difficulty finding the hotel Lack of restaurant facilities
This hotel was too small, a litle bit noisy, and a little bit far from metro.
Clean and nice hotel in a great city.
the colorful charachter of the hotel. the tiny lift that a max of four people would fit in to.There was an un pleasant air freshener that was being used that could be smelt in the pillows as well as the lift.
location was good for Metro etc Room and bathroom were both rediculously small
free wifi in the room - size of the beds : this is no standard bed size, more like 10 centimeters shorter than any bed i've tried other hotels, whatever the price category. and it just felt bad to sleep on it, simply a very bad bed. - very outdated decoration - elevator so small that you can hardly have 2 persons at the same time in it - ground floor room was so noisy i could hardly sleep - for a 3 stars hotel costing above 100 euros per night, i would expect a control of the room before it's given to the customer. This was clearly not done : the room was not clean, with some dishes laying in the bathroom, bed still opened from last customer. Not acceptable. No price reduction or fee breakfast has been proposed as an apology. The only solution found was moving me to a noisy room, half the size of the previous room, for the same price.
clean and nice stuff the single room is not as the photo in the site, too small and not very loveable
It is a simple, unpretentious place which works fine.
The room was nice and clean, not so big. I was there for work so it was not a problem. Strategic position thanks to proximity of metro Alesia and Denfert-Rochereau. No street rumor.
new furnitures, clean walls. There was a used ear stick (not belong to us) in the bathroom at our entire stay. And they don't change the towels everyday. The bathroom is very very small.
Clean, clean, clean. Beds are comfortable. It is quiet. I would stay at this hotel again.
The staff are this hotel's greatest asset. It was obvious that the carpets in the hotel are only given a cursory cleaning. The edges of the carpets in the bedroom - Room Number 2 - were thick with dust. This hotel is not centrally situated.
The location was good and parking was reasonably easy in the street outside due to being free parking during August. The rooms on the ground floor were of a good size. We booked 3 rooms, one of which was a single room and this was on the second floor. The lack of sound proofing would suggest that this was a larger room just cut in two by hardboard and not a proper wall between rooms.
The guy in the reception was always helpful. It has a comparably good price for Paris. There are some nice restaurants in the region. And from the stop cite universitar you can go to center in a few minutes. (Or in 20 minutes by Velib bikes, which has 2 stations really close to hotel) Room and bathroom was a bit small, but I think its almost impossible to find big room hotels in paris :)
Normal small hotel, typical to Paris -- but very clean. Athmospheric backyard where you can have breakfast. Friendly stuff. Good little shop nearby, also some good restaurants. Out of touristy croud. Number of public transport lines in 5 min. walk. Wifi works. No airconditioning, during the summer it is rather hot inside. No lift, if you have bad legs, find another place or rent a groundfloor room. Not everyone speaks English. My VISA card has been "pre-authorised" after the reservation.
Internet connection, hair dryer included. Great neighborhood. Room felt a bit dark.
This two star hotel is better than many three star hotels in Paris
Friendly staff, clean rooms.
None Limited room and time for breakfast Breakfast portion is fixed
free wifi access, location (in a quiet street near the metro and supermarket), staff (patient in trying to speak in English and making the reservation for the night boat cruise) It is closed at midnight but they offer a key. However, I agree that if I was a first time Paris visitor and money was not a huge concern I would stay closer to the Notre-dame church.
the staff were very accomodating and patient with my rusty french! if I was a first time Paris visitor and money was not a huge concern I would stay closer to the centre of the city.
