Pros: Our one night stopover was very good. Evening meal was excellent (5 star quality) our secure car parking was very good. What a lovely hotel and owner, nothing was too much trouble to make our stay most relaxing and enjoyable. Will be staying here again on route to our house in Crete in April, perhaps for a few more days next time which will give me time to have a swim in the lovely swimming pool. Thank You Frederick.

Cons: Sloping ceiling restricted access to toilet and shower for people > 1.5 m tall. No hand soap. Bath towels were only hand towel size. No water glass in room or bathroom. No cereals or yoghurt for breakfast.

Cons: The breakfast should have been more elaborate. I was left a little disappointed with it. But otherwise, this is a fantastic property. The owners are really nice. I every delayed in reaching the property but the owners were kind enough to stay up and check me in without making any fuss.
Cons: No fridge and no kettle in the room for hot water drink. You need to go a long way to use the kitchen fridge and kettle and make the same wy to go ba k your room
Pros: We asked for a (very) early breakfast. Was no problem for the hosts, who especially woke up to serve us some fresh coffee ea.
Pros: Owners are very friendly and nice. Our kids assisted them in the evening feeding of the horses, it was a wonderful experience for them. The play room is also very nice. The place is perfect for family with kids.

Cons: There was no Wi-Fi, even though the advertising said there was it. The dinner had little portions.
Pros: Lovely renovated chateau with large room/bathroom located in a rural environment. Food was exceptional in this family run business. WiFi in our room was good, not so in some areas.
Cons: Closest banking facility some 10 km away so when credit card facilities were unavailable during our visit, when not expected, this was an inconvenience. No TV but this was not an issue for us.
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and help us to feel welcomed all the time. The family room was very spacious, clean and with comfortable beds. Breakfast is plenty and good and parking is convenient.
Cons: Rooms were a bit too cold, even with e-heaters so with small children it might be a bit uncomfortable. It would be nice to have a common area to spend time outside the room but all was kind of closed.

There are also no restaurants in the small village, unlike it states in the description, so arrangements need to be made with the hosts and she cooks for you. There are also no card payment facilities, cash is required, there are no ATM's nearby.
Pros: Bikes locked safely. Good WiFi. Lovely cool room despite 31 degrees ( thick stone walls). Friendly welcome with icy cold sparkling water. Aperitifs in the garden with hostess and host. 4 course dinner - highlight the home made quiche as entree followed by tasty duck as main course. White and red wine à volonté. Copious choice at breakfast. Highly recommended.

Pros: Good overnight stop on way back to Le Havre. We had parking in the hotel garage for 4 motorbikes. Nice bar and restaurant although we didn't eat at the hotel. Comfortable well appointed bedroom with tea and coffee making facility - not expected in a French hotel. We would stay there again.

Pros: Friendly staff, lovely rooms (we stayed in the African room - very comfortable, with nice homely touches). Also great hotel for business people staying longer and wanting to have a home away from home. Heated pool from April-October. Set in a town with a wellness-resort, shops are next door, and the countryside and woods are just around the corner. Only 20 km away from the A31, so also a good place for spending the night en route to the south of France. Worked very well for us.

Although the property is off the beaten track a little, it was perfect, as was their suggestion to have dinner at Arpero (not open all year) within walking distance, and owned and run by Peggy and Eddi.
