Rooms/Hotel are modern , plenty of space , very comfortable , Hotel is very well placed, easy to find I was surprised I had to ask to get the airconditionning switched on !!
Location of the hotel, very close to city center; very good restaurant, excellent wine list, trained, skilled, dedicated personnel. Brand new hotel. Highly recommendable.
good staff, good equipments, well-located : everything was good ! Nothing
Excellent value for money in a good location. Had sea view room with balcolny. Noise of the dustbins being emptied before 5 a.m. each morning
The room had been renovated recently: it was in very nice condition The room was rather small
food, beach, sightseeing, friendly staff just a reminder..taps leaking on face washing basin
very nice room with a modern fit bathroom, just on the beach
We had a fantastic time here! The staff is extremly kind and friendly, they have managed all our requestes, the hotel is just by the see with a beautiful panorama, and the restaurant is on of the bests in the city. If you want to enjoy your stay in Nazaré, choose this hotel!
nothing... hotel is very pour ...maybe oly 1 stra.. not more ...small rooms... high price... bad smell in room from toilet... noice from kichten...and street... not clean...
clean rooms, very friendly staff & excellent location facing the sea and also only 5 minutes from the bus station rooms could be a little bit bigger. We do not like the dinner in the hotel's restaurant.
staff are helpful and room is clean. bathroom's rock should be repaired
Very clean and nice hotel, good buffet breakfast. Location is excellent, just on the ocean shore (might be noise in the autumn, then wind is strong and wawes are big...)
The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was nice and spoke English and the location is amazing, just next to the ocean, a 2 hours trip from Lisbon.
The feeling of being away in the country but also quite close to the town and the beaches of Nazare a litttle impersonal
Friendliness/helpfulness of the staff Rooms were badly in need of updating. Toilets seats were very poor in particular. Corridors very gloomy
The hotel is very modern and well decorated. The people are really kind. The room is very comfortable but msot importantly : the spas are wonderfull. Not the largest I've seen but everything you need is in it. The provide the bathrobe. The food is really not good. We ahve had a dinner and a breakfast there and it was really not good. The restaurant looks really awesome but what you get in your dish is really not. The sleeping room was a bit tiny also but it was not an issue
free pool and gym. Recently upgraded, and is at the top end of 3 star hotels no internet access. Very small rooms. Breakfast was basic for standards found in other hotels while in Portugal.
The staff was excellent!Especially the reception was very helpful and friendly. The inner decoration of the hotel is nice and relaxing and the spa is a very good asset. The nature around the hotel is beautiful. The main problem we encountered is the difficulty to find the hotel. We arrived at night and there were no signs for "your hotel and spa'' .Actually everybody knows it with its previous name "thermas piedade" and so is written in the signs!!!Another thing is that the first impression of the hotel is not good.Thought inside is rennovated ,the outside of the building needs rennovation too.We wanted to use this hotel as a base to see the central part of portugal but it was proven away from destinations and with no life near it.But if someone wants to relax for a weekend it's an excellent choice.
The staff was very kind and helped us to solve some problems we had It was really very difficoult to reach the hotel. No signals, impossible roads. The bathroom had a lot of problems: no hot water, water on the floor because of holes in the tubes ...We tryied also to eat in the restaurant ... The manager offered us the dinner to apologise. No comment
Very nice hotel with good breakfast and relaxing pool. We didn't use the spa. The staff was helpful and nice.
The amazing spa (two internal spa pools, rain walk, sauna and more treatment rooms than you can shake a stick at), the wonderful staff and the lovely outside pool. The beds were small and uncomfy, no satellite tv in rooms, no internet.
The hotel surroundings are very beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable. It would be nice to have a computer with internet access for the guests and we found the heating, although it was good, it was a little dry.
brand new hotel, just beside the Monastery, real deal
very good restaurant in the hotel, very quiet place nothing
Friendliness, Cleanliness, Location, Surroundings
Great place in a great location. Good breakfast and nice restaurant for dinner Morning cofee uuuuuuuuf better choose tea
good position, nice view, good value, excellent restaurant
All very good.
good rooms, nice staff, superb position and good food
The staff were particularly helpful.
staff very helpful smell from toilet - sump problem
Modern hotel in rural location, stylishly designed and furnished, with great sea-views, Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Helpful staff. Good swimming pool. Hotel was situated 35-40 minutes' hilly walk away from the centre of Nazare, which could pose a problem for some, although there was a courtesy mini-bus, albeit with an infrequent service.
The staff, they were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room (suite) we had was spacious, and the views from the room and pool area were very good. The hotel has been open for just 2 months and there are things that still have to be done, i.e. sink plugs not fitted, no shower curtains, no indication of the pool depth around the pool, no clear indication of where the fire escapes were, no umbrellas next to the sun loungers around the pool, so no shade. The pool bar and toilets still not completed.
Excellent view to the ocean, nice pool, friendly staff, price was also OK.
It was an excellent value packed stay. I will go back again. Nothing........................................
Excelent view, the hotel is new, excelent service, excelent food, excelent price. The only problem is that it's far from the city, the beach. But has a excelent view. If you have a car, ok.
Everything...service,room,breakfast buffet,views....all excellent It did not matterto us but if one wanted to be right on the water they might be disappointed.
The nice view of the room with a balcony to the sea The rooms was not soundproof. I had noisy spanish neighbors
The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The breakfast was excellent. Beautiful views of the Atlantic and the town of Nazare. Its location in relation to the distance to the town centre.
I liked the peace and serenity of the place, also it was quiet and the view was great. The bathroom door opens in a wrong way always bangs on the sink.
The fact that it is new, fresh, clean ,comfortable and excellent food quality and polite staff. The design of the rooms lacks a cozy feel.
Staff was fair. Room is good for the value. The booking has double rooms but the staff will choose twin and double as customes check-in. I phoned earlier to the hotel to refer that I weanted a doble(king size bed) and by then they had them available and still they got me a twin and when I wanted to change they didn't had anymore rooms. A big minus since I phoned there to confirm this.
The calm and relaxing environment, the attentiveness of the staff, the excellent food, the elegant decoration, the spaciousness of the rooms. It should have an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna.
pleasant surprise - unfortunately an overnight stay isn't sufficient to obtain the full benefit fresh fruit juices rather than artificial
The luxurious ambience and quality of hotel furnishings. It was very modern and palatial. The rooms were spacious. We couldn't get the air conditioning to work, the room controller didn't seem to be responding (however, we couldn't be bothered ringing reception at 3:00am to find out why).
The magnificent restoration of the old palace and the integration of the new building is just fantastic.
the bedrooms were too warm and it was not possible to leave the aircon on when we were out
The hotel is beautifully placed in front of the sea and provides a magnific view over Sao Pedro de Moel beach. The room is well decorated and spacious although the bathroom might be just a bit too small. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast on 1st floor provides you a wonderful and relaxed view over the seaside.
great location, nice, big modern rooms quite unfriendly, uninterested staff, both in the hotel and restaurant. poor breakfast buffet. very bright and cold lighting in the bar and restaurant.
The splendid location and quietness.
A contemporary, crisp hotel with large confortable rooms. The view over the sea is simply amazing. Soundproofing between rooms is not particularly good.
The location, price and nice breakfast room on the top of the building
The hotel location is on a plaza just off the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean.
Surprised by the superior standard of the hotel Difficulty in hotel parking. Too far away!
location, staff helpful, room clean, tv plenty of channels. had to manouvere to get on the loo in room 301.
located in the center very near the beach very thin walls and small rooms
Value for money
Friendly welcome. English spoken. Free wi-fi. Superb breakfast.
The location, cleaningness No parking close to the hotel
clean, parking front of hotel+, breakfast room wiew exellent, wi-fi work nowdays all hotel+( when it works...) value of money noisy, cause making some re docaration
Accommodation was comfortable, staff very helpful and pleasant, great views from the breakfast dining room - nice breakfast Parking was impossible - I had a long walk from where parking was available
Room was listed as "Side Sea View". Water was only visible from out on the balcony, could not be "viewed" from inside the room.
Great value, views, and location.
Comfortable room, nice view, good location
Very efficient and helpful staff, fantastic location right on the ocean, enjoyed meals in the restaurant.
Helpful staff, beachside location Ill fitting window on first night (Saturday) meant that noise of passers by in the square kept me awake. We were given a different room which cured the problem. Staff most helpful in arranging change.
Great location and service
great location,on the beach. staff very helpful and spoke english which helps so much. A very good resturant for dinner and breakfast. the rooms are a little small but very clean, I would reccomend it to anyone. It was all good
the staff was excellent and very polite very noisy. restaurant on the main floor. able to hear clean up at night while resting, could hear setting up in the morning. no haird dryer or iron in the room. considering it was a four star it is my underdtanding these items are available in the room
in front of atlantic ocean :) very good view :)
It was very close to the city center. The rooms were very nice and clean
friendly staff, very good location no free wifi
Swimming pool in the 10th floor was nice. Good breakfast. Drinks in the room's refrigerator. Only two small details: although it was advertised that the hotel had free wi-fi, I discovered it was not free. Also, the gym was closed during the weekend (only in August). I was not expecting this.
Good breakfastm take away option from the restaurant, large apartments apartment heated up in afternoon, outside noise due to climate machines
The restaurant was just fabiolous.
good location, clean and comfortable limited menu in restaurant
hard to find when we have never been to Leira with all the oneway streets. aircond broke down and promise to fix but didn't or couldn't. didn't warn us about the mosquitoes since we had to open the windows to let the air in due to the aircond being broken down. my 2 year old was totally swollen from the bites. couple weeks on, he still bear the lumps. it was horrible.
A very roomy apartment Very difficullt to find.
price not a 4* hotel, restaurant is frankly bad, the noise of the gymnasium spreads over the whole hotel
the personel was very very friendly, very nice people. The location was 5 minutes walk to the nearest metro station (along the orange line) and very close to the centre (one station far from Trinidad metro station). Great place for such a price. Our room was at the entrance of the hotel, during the night, it was a bit noisy but because of the same fact, we could have internet connection (wifi) in our room. So it was fair. Breakfast was not that fancy but still good: mainly bread, cheese, ham, fruit and yoghurt with hot and cold beverages.
Roof top pool is amazing Under ground garage is very tight and they charge 10 euros a night
Great location one minute's walk from the beach. Good value for money, Good breakfast - bacon and scambled egg was a pleasant surprise. No negatives
the room o.k
The hotel was tastefylly designed and maintained. It was clean and quiet. There were many choices for breakfast, hot and cold items and very plentiful. There was free internet access which was benificial to us. We were three guests sharing one room. I expected to have the room we were given on the date of arrival. But the hotel was not full and it was a little disappointing not to be upgraded to a bigger and more comfortable room. Value for money...it was too expensive. And to pay extra for parking was overboard.
Excellent position and breakfast, modern and big rooms. We had a triple room at 5Th floor with balcony viewing the seaside. Swimming pool on terrace. The private parking is too expansive: 10 euro /day even if you arrive late in the night. It should be 10 euro/24 h. Swimming pool is small and often crowded. It opens only at 10.30 in the morning
location to beach a bit pricey compared to other options and other cities in portugal
Everything was great. From facilities to pool, location, rooms, breakfast. Not to mention the location... 50 m from the beach and beach boulevard with restaurants, bars, etc, etc. It's not a hotel for "every pocket", however the expensive prices "pay up" for the luxury, quality and service. You want the best you have to pay for it! this is an excellent example of that
It was a surprise just so nice
The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was good. The beach location was misleading, Had to go thru city streets, alleys, and shops before getting to actual beach. The restaurant was closed and the spa was non existant although advertised, pool and jaccuzi use was limited by requirement to wear swimcap.
Location was in town which was ideal for me. Recently refurbished inside. Didn't feel like 4 star. Charged extra for use of room safe and internet in room. Staff were impersonal, Gym didn't open in the morning until 10am
The view, the friendly staff and the excelent value for money!
the friendly staff, clean room, nice pool area
beautiful location. Pleasant staff
Great view, friendly staff, clean and great value for money
The presentation of the rooms and and politeness of the staff, rooms were very high standard
Loved the view from our hotel room. The swimming pool area was also very quiet and pleasant. We dined in the Restaurant a number of evenings and the food and service were excellent, combined with live music from a wonderful guitar player which added to the relaxing atmosphere. Hotel rooms are a little dated and could do with a makeover. The corridors are dark and a bit musty.
Cleanliness, extrem friendly and helpfull hotel staff Room TV does not properly
this hotel has a magnificent veiw of the sea and nazare and is excellent value
The view to the Atlantic and over Nazare is unbeatable. Nazare and the beach is only a short walk away. Good for a night maybe for two if you don't expect luxury service. Room is a bit small, remote control to TV and AC are to be requested from the reception, breakfast is simple, no vegetables.
The view from the hotel is spectacular. It sits high on a hill overlooking the town and the ocean. The restaurant was fabulous with amazing food and the nicest help possible. If you stay there park the car and take a taxi to town. The rate is very low and driving there is very tricky. When we arrived they did not have the type of room we requested. The front desk staff gave no information and needless to say we climbed many stairs we did not have to for 2 days until we learned there is an elevator. No information about meals was given. The safe in the room got stuck, with our things inside. On the tiny balcony there was an empty pop bottle with dozens of wet cigarettes. Smelled terrible. There is no one to help you with bags and the stairs in front are scary with bags. Worse of all was the shower....very high step in tub and the bottom of tub was like glass. Truly an accident waiting to happen.
Perfect! The restaurant it´s 5 stars like the Hotel. Very good staff and very good place
Good friendly service in the restaurant, excellent food, house wine good. Lively, obviously appreciated locally for its food. Pleasant eating space outside by the river. Nice quiet pool. Centrally situated in the small town of Cortes for sightseeing all around, Fatima, Batalha, Leiria, Alcobça, Porto de Mos, caves etc. Well run by Rodolfo Fetal who just celebrated his 30th birthday. Will definitely go back.
very friendly owners
Excellent host, very helpful, would definatley stay agian
Very good service, delicious restaurant, everything as beautifull as on the fotos, family buisiness. Very nice decorated and good siced rooms and bedrooms. Wireless internet free. Cover of beds not spotless clean (but that was the only bad point I could find at all! )
Nice surroundings, very quiet. Personalized and kind service.
This was a picturesque location close to many sites, if you have a car. The service was friendly and professional. The restuarant was wonderful:great food, fantastic service and great prices. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
Everything was great. The owner and staff make everybody feels like its their own home... They are always aware of little details, for example, sunday was rainning a lot and when we got out of our room there was a umbrella there on the counter waiting for us... The place itself is lovely, the presidential suite is awesome, its apart from the rest of the rooms, giving you a lots of privacy. a very good restaurant awesome and well presented food :) The best weekend I spent this year :)
Visiting with the host No
Dinner Free internet Service above all Breakfast - Poor ( some fruits, jam, butter, bread and coffee) - we asked for eggs for two pax and we got very little.
The view and the upkeep of the property
Parking free of charge close to the hotel, very friendly staff, nice style of the hotel and the room, twin room, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the pool (although we did not use it), the location. nothing
Good location, beautiful view from the balcony, very friendful staff, good restaurant near the hotel, comfortable rooms, swimming pool and gym. I liked everything
In this small hotel we stayed in the room overlooking the famous Monastery. It was so nice to have a swim in the swimming pool and to enjoy the whole place. There was no hot food for breakfast and the reception is not open 24 hours.
This is exellent and beutiful hotel, very good for vacation and trip in Portugal with good location in the city.
We can only give a 10! We wonder why only 2 stars! Perfect location. Everything is modern with taste. None!
Everything was excellent. We realy recommend this hotel. Great place to use as base to visit the region of Batalha, Leiria, Fátima and Óbidos.
Great view from a lovely hotel and super value for money. Also make sure you dine at Circumstancio, and ask Jaoa for his recommendations from the extensive wine list. A bit of a challenge to find - go uphill!
wonderful views, very comfortable and homely
Good location is suitable for the nearest actraction to see. Very helpfull staff Good idea a welcome drink in the entrace, we can choose a lot of local liquers and etc.breakfast very wide variety. Only one thing some of the rooms maybe disturb the outside aircondition.
The location was excellent, right next to the monastery and with easy access to good restaurants. The rooms do need a little refurbishment. The pillows are lumpy, and need replacing.
The view of the monastry was great.
The hotel is placed in front of the monastery of Alcobaca, having the best position for visiting the town and its monuments. No
We had a room with a balcony - really great view to the monastery (the main sight in Alcobaca). Especially at night the view is great. Excellent was as well that teh main sight was really opposite of the hotel, so you could be the first in the morning visiting. You can park in the garage for free. Breakfast is acceptable, but not great. Hotel has quite old furniture and looks like for several years no renovation (only repairs) were done.
Our room had a wonderful view of the monastery. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast included the famous Portuguese pasteis.
very central location; availability of parking; helpful staff; very basic accommodation; mattress/pillows not comfortable; bar fridge not working;
Perfectly servicable and clean and tidy - nice room, fabulous view from the balcony!
The hotel also had a locked car park, which is a great help in Portugal. The breakfast was really great.
Perfect location To avoid room 323 as A/C machine is hanging on the outside of the wall and give a lot of noise and vibration in the room. Did not want to change room as we arrived at 1am in the room and it was only for 1 night but it was very uncomfortable.
