Pros: The hotel owner Pepe was lovely and went above and beyond to welcome our family. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms clean. Perfect location to visit the town and further afield.
Cons: I would have liked more breakfast choice with fresh fruit and access to coffee making facilities in the room.
Cons: Swimming pool not in operation despite being advertised on website We already had notified to say we would arrive between 15.00 and 16.00( we arrived at 15.10) but we could not contact anybody from the Casa until 18.15.
Pros: No breakfast first day, but complementary breakfasts second two mornings. Loved the inside. All arches and very moorish. Pepe really nice guy.
Cons: The front on arrival was very plain, but inside more than made up for it.
Pros: We were alone in the hotel - absentee landlord, but the hotel was lovely with great ambience.
Cons: Finding it in the dark was difficult.
Pros: Lovely rooms decorated with local style. Nice to have a little balcony and view over the town and beyond. Medina Sidonia is an interesting and historic place and you will be in the middle of it in a quiet bed and breakfast establishment. A good position near the top of the hill with free parking space across the road accessed from a modern road that meant no necessity to drive through the narrow streets. A friendly host who communicated well even though he had little English and I had less Spanish. We were offered a simple breakfast for a very small cost and we happy with it.
Cons: No problems
Pros: Hotel in a Beautiful and authentic old Spanish village, with enough restaurants and shops in the center of the town. Great rural surroundings. Beaches can be reached by car within half an hour easily. Tarifa takes 3 quarters of an hour. Nice quiet little hotel with very decent big rooms with air conditioning . A pool. Good breakfast for a very, very reasonable price. Good WiFi in the central area. Very hospitable owners with good very friendly service. Good public parking facilities close nearby. We would love to visit again. We recommend this hotel fully. No dinner or lunch available, but in Spain that is no problem whatsoever. This a small family hotel with only 7 rooms, do not expect the Hilton please.

Pros: Local breakfast. Management opened up on the morning after the arrival and became more friendly, rather late than never.
Cons: Reception at arrival, although it was close to midnight.
Pros: The people were very friendly and genuine
Cons: No complaints, just a bit cold..
Pros: hotel rustic very very cute
Cons: well , they don t easily smile. I met only one Spanish smiling and looking happy and it is in Granada!

Pros: Nice room, 2 min to the city center, great location while going to Cadiz, Jerez or Seville.
Cons: Parking could be difficult to find and reach on a longer vehicles - streets are very narrow and some turns could be stressful. Alternatively one can live car without entering city center - ~600-1000m away from hotel
Pros: We did not dine at the hotel. The location was ideal to explore the historic area. The lift was like a rocket but you had to be quick to get in the door!
Cons: The car parking was offsite, which mislead us. The access to the hotel is completely inappropriate for people with mobility issues. The room we stayed in was dark, with drab furniture, uncomfortable bed, a bathroom which needs a total refit and a mini bar with a nasty stain in the bottom.
Pros: The hotel was ideal for an overnight stay in Medina Sidonia.
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Staff at reception very nice. Location superb.
Cons: Lighting in room and better cakes for breakfast in such a lovely place with so many bakeries and excellent cakes.
Pros: Beautiful entrance. Good price. Most areas clean.
Cons: Smelly bathroom on arrival and no fan or window. Staff not friendly. Steep entrance steps especially with luggage. Spartan bedroom furniture. Heating didn’t work.
Pros: This hotel, and the town itself, was a great find. The town is charming and the staff are exceptional. The rooms were spacious, as was the en suite bathroom. Loved this place!
Cons: Parking is a bit tricky, offsite, but the town is quiet and safe.
Pros: Great location, beautiful village, friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms.
Pros: Good location in the centro antiguo, 2 minute walk to main square. Altogether a pleasant stay. Off-street private parking available (for the brave - it's tricky to access up a very narrow street. I walked up to locate it & to work out access before parking). Restored historic building, once a private casona. Restoration moderately sensitive (though 'modernised' more than I would have done).
Cons: Very clunky aircon that appeared not to work properly - stuck fan, & didn't appear to be cooling well. I turned it off & opened window (not always an option in really hot weather). View from room - spectacular view of the roof & a (possibly breeding) colony of aircon condensers.

Pros: The restaurant was excellent. Good food at affordable prices
Cons: Good stay for a night. Highly recommend the hotel restaurant
When you stay at Hotel La Villoría in Medina-Sidonia, you'll be 6 minutes by car from Medina-Sidonia Ruins. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: great location, lovely people, easy access from motorway but felt like totally away from everything
Pros: Swimming pool and the pizzaria!
Cons: Bed and rooms to tiny!
Pros: Cleaningness and bed size were nice.
Cons: Music was too high during the day and night. Howver, after a certain hour, they'd switch it off. Location isn't the best too.
Pros: We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to the property. It was just like the photos and we were really excited to enjoy the pool area. It had a great atmosphere and it’s music and a bar. We ordered lunch from the dining room as well and again were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. One thing that could be improved is the breakfast. It seemed maybe there was a lack of training or a new one employee working but I don’t think ordering a coffee and tostada should require waiting 35 minutes. The coffee however was delicious as well as the bread. Would definitely recommend for partners or groups or families. In fact we’re thinking about returning with some of our friends!
Pros: Kind staff
Cons: The cleanliness could be improved
