very good restaurant gthe price of our room was higher than anything shown on the price list at reception
The dining room.
silence, nice swimming pool, very good food, staff does not speak english
very spacious room initial problem with key not working resolved by reception
It was easy to find and convenient for shopping and visiting Futuroscope. The hotel is much older than it looks on the photos. The corridors smelt awful. The internet didn't work properly: staff unable to explain what the problem was but even their PC in the reception area didn't work very often. The breakfast rooms were too small and cramped.
The swimming pool area was nice and well maintained, and was very welcome on a very hot day. Airconditioning in the room also worked well-which is not usual in France. The hotel was very difficult to find, particularly at night. The lift was out of service during our stay, meaning we had to carry our bags up lots of stairs. The room and bathroom was clean, but in need of renovation. I would not rate this as a three star quality.
everything was fine, excellent breakfast, good dinner etc only french tv, no english or other languages
Location No Air Condioning and very thick duvets on the bed. This is Central France with day time temperatures of 25degrees
The restaurant was excellent (although the selection of available wines was not so good) and all the staff very helpful. The situation of the hotel in the beautiful grounds was very convenient for us. The noise of the work taking place!
Friendly and helpful staff. Good location for passing through motorway network. Provided excellent vegetarian option to available menu. Dessert took over one hour to arrive.
Very friendly owners and staff and good quality restaurant/bistro. Vivonne itself is simply magnificent and I would visit again (and plan to) without hesitation. Thanks, Mia, for a lovely experience. Very slightly haphazard system of 'checking-in' at the restaurant (due to the late hour) but it mattered not a jot.
We loved the hotel and its situation in the lovely village of Vivonne. The room and bed were most comfortable. We would have liked air conditioning and it was in need of a little up dating. The decoration was a little shabby.
At first site room looked a bit tired but we warmed to it. It has an excellent restaurant on the opposite side of the road split in to high or low cuisine to suit your pocket. Car parking to the rear of the hotel was useful. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Front faces onto a narrow street and traffic noise was quite penetrating. If you live in a city it probably wouldn't worry you.
Lovely family hotel and resturant No English TV-breakfast could be more varied
Location and frienliness of proprietors Unfortunately to have ventilation the window needed to be open. The Hotel is quite near to a railway line operating The TGV and was quite noisy at times along with the fact that it is next to a church with bells!
The owners were extremely helpful, their restaurant food and service was excellent, even the buffet breakfast was most enjoyable. Ww hope to say longer next time.
The staff were very attentive and friendly Only a shower attachment to the bath taps, so no surrounding shield to prevent spillage to floor
The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly
Good central position in town. Should have been told that we were unable to enter hotel before 1700Hrs on a monday and telephone help lime was a recording ??
Staff were friendly but spoke no English. Although rooms had adequate facilities, rooms were lacking comfort with not even a mat on the floor & looked very cheap & cheerless. The meal we booked was described as "gourmet" but was a 3-course 10 Euros meal and we had to pay a further supplement for anything better. The quality of the meat was not good & the standard of the meal not good. The hotel was not situated in a pleasant area.
Excellent dinner. Secure parking. Nice little town. Minimal breakfast. No wall fixture for the shower head.
Fantastic food Rooms smelt of stale cigerette smoke
