Location excellent for slopes with bars, shops and restaurants on your doorstop. We barely had to walk anywhere during our stay! Not the cheapest ski resort I have stayed in.
Thoughtfully built in traditional style, compact, but ideal for the slopes. Well situated.
Location and overall ambiance No
Brilliant view of the mountains and ski slopes, great restaurants and other amenities like pharmacy and convenience stores right next door
2nd stay- prices double the last stay. Excellent for skiing. Ski off and back directly. Village new but looks tradiational. All village appears to belong to the one company. All connected underground by parking.Self-catering on restaurants. Room large with 2 bedrooms. Fine for 2-4 people. Access with luggage by public transport not at all convenient- taxi preferred at an extar 70 euros. Saunas etc fine by occupied by kids most of the time. Complicated process for check out.
We we 1/2 hour late checking out as we had to clean the appartment very surprised we had to clean the flat thoroughly. This led to the receptionist calling the room to hurry us up. I was surprised a the rule of cleaning especially as it 4* hotel this caused a lot of stress
Excellent value for money with beautiful rooms and excellent facilities. It was also a very nice touch to have a bottle of wine and various condiments in our room when we arrived. Would definitely go back. One very minor complaint would be that the Internet connection wasn't very good.
the concept is great and the reception staff was excellent (even offering a discount that booking.com was not refering to!) 1. porters should be available to assist with the luggage to/from the room. 2. the use of the cheminee resulted in smoke in the bedroom.
Easy access to slopes, restaurants, bars and supermarket. Mechanical padlocks on ski lockers.- Please !!! install locks using electronic door key.
Excellent location at the slopes, very nice car free "village", great for families In addition to the expensive accommodation you have to pay 21,- € per 24h to park your car (no alternative). Outdoor pool and indoor whirlpool where too cold. Maintenance and friendliness of personnel are ok but could be better.
located close to the piste and the forest. It was nice and silent by our room during the night and we were still close to all entertainment
I didn't like anything. Very expensive price for the service that this hotel offers. Inacceptable. Room not very clean. People impolite. Extremely expensive for what it is. People of the service not polite at all, room on the first floor with view to a back road, drafts dirty...
Location - easy access to restaurants, shops and slopes. There was no fitness room as advertised on web and in the hotel. Suggest booking ahead for treatments especially if the weather is expected to be bad i.e.spa was fully booked when we arrived. The cleaning service was not great - left rag, didn't vaccuum, left dirty glasses. Upon arrival, glass we pulled from mini-bar was dirty with lipstick marks. We're lucky we did not have to pay full price.
Room having lots of storage not very helpfull for local info i.e busses etc
Very comfortable room. Arrived by taxi. No details of directions to reception. General lack of help and assistance form some mebmers of the reception staff. Not a high quality service. Restaurant ambience more like holidy inn standard. Hotel arrangement of rooms like a prison corridoors. Does not justify the price.
The bar area was fantastic. A lovely chill out area after skiing. The position of the hotel is ideal The rooms were fairly basic and cramped
The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Excellent layout with integrated ski locker room and spa. Good location, right on the slopes! For the hotel, it would have been better if there was parking available. Whilst there is plenty of free parking along the streets, depending on your car depends whether you are happy leaving it roadside, in snowy and slippery conditions where inexperienced drivers could "bump" into it! The only thing is not related to the hotel but rather to Les Arcs 1600, there is not actually very much going on there and for proper apres ski you need to go to 1800.
Staff were very accommodating about letting me use the facilities on my last day so I could go skiing and then return home in the evening even though I had checked out.
The decor at the hotel was wonderful, very original.
The staff were very helpful, although dinner menu was in French the receptionist learnt the menu in English for us.
the decor is friendly so is the staff. breakfast is good and plentyfull smoking should be banned on the balcony. room too warm
Great Location and view.......could have spent another week here! Everything was really great, but there was no Wi-Fi access available in your room/apartment. If Wi-Fi was available, this hotel would be absolutely perfect!
Nice few from windows. Big appartment. New furniture. Car parking is included.
Fantastic apartments right on the piste. We went in July and it was great for walking and mountain biking. Excellent value for money in summer at eur 45 per night. Secure underground car parking and full cooking facilities. We'd definetly stay again. Important to be aware that you will have to clean the apartment and have it inspected prior to your departure. We had to go and buy cleaning products, so best to take some with you.
Two of us stayed for a few days at the very end of the 2010 ski season. They were very flexible allowing us to stay thursday to thursday (because of work commitments) rather than usual saturday to saturday. We had a very large apartment. A short walk to the slope and we could ski all the way back to the front door. The apartment was a bit noisy because we were right next to boot room and the main entrance.
The view to the mountains The way to the hotel was under construction.
Good value for self catering at 31 euro per night, reasonable quality acommodation (perhaps not quite the advertised 4*) beautiful mountain views and great walks directly from the hotel. Friendly staff. Site still under construction during ourstay at the end August 2008
Friendly staff and a very clean and spacious appartment. The views out over the Isere valley were stunning and although this was a summer trip access to the ski slopes would be fantastic. A shame there was no balcony furniture to sit out and enjoy the summer evenings. The area around the appartments will be much improved when the grass grows!
Location to great alpine walks; value for money; well equipped for self catering and great view from the balcony. Only - minor - comment was that a kettle would have been good. Also free access to wi-fi would have been appreciated.
very helpful staff, lovely quiet room with mountain view, very comfortable bed, (we were upgraded to a bigger room), excellent breakfast more toiletries would have been nice!
A very nice room with good facilities. Staff very helpful. Ideal location for exploring Val D'Isere region.
Very friendly staff, very nice and cozy rooms, beautiful surroundings in the France Alps
