The view was beautiful from the main building and from the room. The rooms were not nice at all. Horrible beds and really old nasty comforter with sand in the sheets. The restaurant is just a self serve cafeteria with food that reminded me of public school lunch. The room smelled and was ancient with an old crapy tube TV and no DVD or even a VHS player. No chain locks on the doors.. the maid walked in as she kind of knocked at a very inappropriate time. The beach is concrete with old busted up lounges. The bartenders have no idea how to make a drink at all and i mean the ones on the list. The pools were cloudy and dirty. I left for every meal and stayed off the property as much as possible to avoid the hotel during my stay.
Comfortable rooms, great pool facilities for the kids, and compliments to the chef and staff great food and efficient friendly service.
This hotel was a fantastic value for money and we enjoyed the comfortable lounges and the large private beach. Staff members were excellent- helpful and pleasant always. We appreciated the opportunity to relax at the hotel bars some nights rather than seek out expensive pubs or restaurants elsewhere. The rooms were too hot- the airconditioning was too weak and we were sweating in the room all the time. Also, our room was overlooking the entertainment venue, which was playing (really) loud music most nights until 11-12. However, this wasn't a huge deal and I would still recommend this hotel, although perhaps with a room away from the stage.
good food, good public transportation to town with bus stop righ in front of the hotel, nice landscaping room high on the hill, too much uphill walking from the main building,no fresh towels on sundays
Wery nice staff , perefct food and drinks / all inclusive /, in fact hotel on the beach / 2 min. walking/, we will recomend this hotel for enjoyable summer vacation
The view of Paleokatrista, the swimming pool, quiet hotel. Not enough chairs and umbrellas near the swimming pool. The restaurant make not a very good food, international dishes not greek specialities and not a lot of vegetable and fruits. The breakfast is simple, but the yogourt is special , liquid ( added with milk or eater ?)
Good location for our purposes, good value for money, friendly helpful staff Breakfasts were a bit predicttable and not particularly good
Amazing views Breakfast
Friendlines of staff. the fact that we could get B&B only. Food. Small pool with no showers. Snack bar 12-4 only.
We very much appreciated the comfortable beds and the cleanliness of the room. The layout of the hotel was lovely and the pool was nice and clean. The sea side view was spetacular! The breakfasts - after trying the eggs we stuck with only toast and maybe some fruit when we did in fact have breakfast there. The stairs to the pool when wet were dangerous as they were slightly slanted downwards as well. I slipped on them and badly sprained an ankle.
Room nice size, kept clean and with excellent view and in a good location - as expected. But would recommend that people book room only and pleased we didn't book half board We booked bed and breakfast - but the breakast was truely bad! The fruit juice was watered down, the bread did not taste fresh, the yogurt was watery, the choice was very limited etc. So poor in fact that we only ate breakfast at the hotel once - we elected to go to a local taverna and pay extra to have a really nice breakfast for only 5 euro's each
the buffet breakfast was the poorest i have had anywhere in the world, the hotwater barely worked, the price was very high for what you get. i would never recommend anyone to stay here.
The views were amazing. The food was hot and could eat as much as you wanted. The beds were very hard and the walls were paper thin... could hear everything from the other rooms.
The mostly I liked during my stay at the hotel is the location, staff very friendly and responsive, the entertainment organized by the Hotel for their guests. In this regard, it is worth to mention that despite the fact that my vacation were out of the main season, in September, the Hotel was fully booked, which mean that it offers quality of services clients need during their stay at hotels.
The family were great and did everthing they could to ensure that we were comfortable during our stay and helped us with seeing the Island of Corfu
Very friendly and welcoming. Apartment very clean, air conditioned and had great sea views. Fantastic food, we ate in the restaurant every evening. Good location - glorious sunsets and fantastic, clean and safe beach. Provided airport transfers, lifts to village and to Corfu city which were invaluable. Help and advice always on hand if needed. Kitchenette could have been better equipped with crockery and utensils.
Indeed a nice view. The beach is at 300m but under over a heavy access road 20-30 degrees slope. When I was willling to pay with Credit Card they where asking for 3% extra.
The views were absolutely magnificent! I was so mesmorized by the view from my balcony that I cried when we left. Both Sophia and Claudia were very helpful and kind. They went above and beyond the call of duty to help their guests. My husband and I visited many beaches in Corfu and I thought that the beach below Bella Vista was the best all round beach for beauty, quality of sand and the fact that it was not as crowded as other beaches. The water pressure in our room was dissapointing. It took forever to have a shower.
Amazing veiw to the sea and beach, frendly helpfull and just very nice staff, the best sandy beach in all Corfu. The hotel is situated in 400 steps from the beach up to the mountine, so for some one it would be difficult to reach it every day. But for us it was advantage (-2 kg;))
The hospitality of Sophia and her family made us feel as though we were staying with family. They were all so helpful and could not have been any more pleasant! The resort is beautiful and the apartment was immaculate!! We loved it. Free shuttle to and from airport which saves a great deal of money.
Family run establishment and they treated you like part of their family. Great service
Extraordinary view! Warm family runs the place! Good and tastefull breakfast. Good traditional food! Very peacefull place with a nice beach.Fantastic sunsets! Just some nasty hungry wasp!
Sophia and the family were loverly people and made our stay and comfortable and easy as possible.
Liked everything, the position of the Apartments, the excellent food, the service we received from the owners , particularly Sophia who looked after us really well. Loved the beach area and the Tavernas for lunch. We liked everything, but for the less mobile Pelekas beach could be a problem as there are a lot of hills and poor transport.
Actually two things amazed the most in the hotel: the location, right in front of the gourgeous beach of Palaiokastritsa, and the friendly staff, especially the ones in the bar and restaurant, which is by the way worthwhile to try very often during your stay in Corfu.
The owners and at the same time, management of the hotel were very friendly. They tried to help on each and every occasion. The rooms were not luxury or sth. The hotel has basic features but it is clean and tidy. I can say that I found just what I expected. But have to mention that if someone goes there with some sort of an expactation of staying in a luxury one, he / she would be disappointed. It is basic, clean. fair for the price but not luxury. One specific detail should be mentioned I believe. The location and the seashore of the hotel is absolutely the best on Corfu. However, if one does not travel with car or doesnt intend to hire one, the 25 kms distance between the city center and the hotel can create problem.
Location and views - right on the beach. Very nice staff and lovely restaurant. Also nice restaurants nearby. We were in the annexe. The shower was a bit of a pain to use - just a tray, no curtain or holder for the shower to attach to. The bathroom floor was wet as the water did not drain away easliy. We were only there 2 nights so was ok to cope with.
the view it was dirty
We stayed just before the holiday season got going. We found the manager Craig excellent nothing was too much trouble. The accomoddation was basic but comfortable and the location excellent. We had a great break! The beds were rather hard and creaky
The location is excellent, the beach is on the other side of the road. Excellent view over the sea from the balcony. Rooms are big enough, clean, equipped with air-conditioning. We had halfboard: the breakfast is OK, however a bit boring to eat the same thing for a week (bit more choice for coldcut, cheese and packed yoghurt instead of yoghurt from a common dish would have been welcome). The dinner was a 3-course menu with 3 choices for each course, small portions, but the three course together enough to feel full. Extremely nice staff in the restaurant. Twice during the week there was a concert/karaoke in the restaurant, which of course was possible to hear in the rooms as well. However, in both cases they ended around midnight.
Location,Staff were friendly and helpful.
I found the location of the hotel and the surroundings excellent. The room was clean and tidy. The staff was pretty helpful.
Located centrally in a small bay with beautiful views and restaurants below and to one side. Tours of the surrounding headlands by small boat are highly recommended in this very rewarding few days stays. Not long enough as I thought the place to be a real gem.
This is a family-owned hotel, runs by the family, and they are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel location is excellent, it's right next to the beach. Every hotel room has it's own individual air conditioning unit and a decent-sized fridge - pretty nice. We have been to other Greek islands and stayed in hotels there. The room here is somewhat small by comparison. Having said that, we think the room is adequate and it has bathroom, fridge, air conditioning, etc.
The owners were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are basic but clean. Close to the beach and restaurants. Many steps (with luggage) to get to sea view rooms.
Good location next to a beautiful beach with great view. Friendly staff. Good restaurant with great breakfast. Typical european style bathroom.
The owners and staff were extremely friendly and did their utmost to make our stay enjoyable; they bent over backwards to give us assistance should we need it and entertained us very well. The room was large, airy, well-decorated with good facilities. The hotel was charming in aspect and the food was excellent. The location could not be rivalled, situated right next to the beach in what has to be the most beautiful bay we have ever seen.
The location of this hotel was great. Right on the beach with shops and restaurants on its doorstep. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms had a lovely character about them. I think the bathrooms could be improved - they're a little old. Occasionally a smell would come up from the drain which was unpleasant and you also flood the whole bathroom when you take a shower. We would still go back though.
Excellent value. Clean. Oustanding location and view. Superb staff. very firendly.
Staying at the Zefiros hotel was the best choice we could make.Simple but tastefuly decorated - all white and clean. I travel with my sister and my mother and our budget was a little bit tight. The hotel offers really good value for money: The location is perfect as we don't drive. The hotel is located just in front of a nice beach although we prefered a more quiet one just two minutes away. In front of the hotel you can catch a bus to Corfu town and spend the day in the old town. The hotel is run by a family that owned it for two generations. Iren and Johny are extremely helpful and kind. I do recommend the food at the hotel! And the staff, specially Ashley, is so nice! We will come back.
Friendly hotel staff; very near to the beach; good quality of the food; excellent knowledge of English language of the staff;
Location. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff Steps. Malfunctioning tv and air conditioning.
It was ok!
Very near to the main city, beautiful landscapes, friendly atmosphere . Unfortunately, it's more an 3* hotel than 4*; the food was not so fresh all the time (fruit ,bred , fish or vegetables); not to forget a strange rule for a 4* hotel: a 10 euro deposit for a beach towel .
The location and beach/swimming pool area are very nice and relaxing. Restaurant and food are excellent, we had All Inclusive. Very good facilities for children - outdoor kindergarten with yard and playground. The bungalows are very quite and comfortable. There's nothing to do outside the hotel. Just a short street with shops and some tavernas, no night life or any other entertainment.
Beautiful room, very clean, nice staff, beautiful hotel gardens ! The beach...practically thare is no beach...however you may rent a car or a motorbike and go to Glyfada or Agios Gordios (sandy beaches)...20 min away from the hotel by car...and the road is very nice!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great facilities. Perfect location.
Excellent Hotel ,Great Value .Food Good Would have liked a little entertainment on the terrace in evening
peace,we didn't hear for staying in hotel any car, traffic, exept airplanes, for kids great, food is excellent, staff friendly, near to town, near to port, great location room should be cleanest
