Pros: Gareth and Tina were the host with the most. Prior to arrival, Gareth assisted when I was having difficulty and booked restaurant for us. On arrival we were welcomed with a nice cool beverage and thorough guided tour of the house ammenities and explanation of local services and local sights to see. Bedroom and bathroom were very large, comfortable and clean. Slept like a log in nice quiet area. Breakfast was amazing including best Welsh Big Breakfast I’ve ever eaten.
Cons: Nothing. Stay couldn’t have been better.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional care and attention to detail in all areas. Gareth and Tina were very friendly. Home from home atmosphere. Excellent knowledge of local attractions and beauty spots and the best way to find them. They went above and beyond to ensure we were relaxed and comfortable in their property. Excellent choices for breakfast and accommodated dietary needs perfectly. Excellent facilities for parking right outside the property, set in a beautiful quiet village. Excellent value for money. The room was spacious, had easy chairs to relax after a hard days walking. A very comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom with amazing shower. Tea/coffee making in the room with delicious biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge. All the little extras made our stay a truly memorable experience. We arrived as guests and left feeling like friends. Ty Melin and Gareth and Tina made our first visit to Wales so special. We will absolutely be recommending Ty Melin and rating 10/10 in all areas. Thank you Gareth and Tina.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was fantastic.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was "out of this world" so good and clearly made with care & pride. Considering Gareth & Tina do this day in, day out, each breakfast was fantastic 10/10. They are very welcoming & friendly hosts, really making our stay feel special. Right next to an award winning pub, serving excellent food with exceptional service. Location is great to easily see many of the special places Pembrokeshire has to offer. Hosts have great knowledge of the area & can provide very helpful tips for you to make the most of your stay.
Cons: Really difficult one, nothing really. Being perhaps overly picky, ideally we would have liked an ensuite, but that said the room size was very generous because of that & we had exclusive use of a bathroom right next door, so not a big issue at all. Also the other rooms at the property have ensuites so up to us to book earlier next time!

Pros: The location wasn't really as I expected. There was hardly anything within a walking distance for 2 people nearly 60 years of age. The beds were extremely comfortable, the room was LARGE and the breakfast was good.
Cons: The only thing that could have been better, for me, was places to eat etc within walking distance. The village pub had a fantastic view and the food was excellent but that was the only place to eat that we could find within walking distance.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really friendly and helpful couple running the B&B. Located on the main road through Pembroke, close to shops, pubs, bus stop etc. Accommodating to times and requests. Rooms had space and facilities; sockets, wifi, TV. Would happily recommend and excellent value for money.
Cons: Sausages at breakfast could have been nicer, although the whole breakfast was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They made us feel part of the family. Especially for my 4 year old Granddaughter. Catered for my dietary being Gluten & lactose intolerant. I always had a lovely cooked breakfast each day, which we all enjoyed. The room was large and had its own fridge which in the weather we had was a lovely. Fantastic location close to supermarket, cafes & pubs. We will be coming back next year.
Cons: Had to go back home
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pam and Mike (P&M) were excellent hosts! I'm not a sociable person but their warm hospitality made my "introvertedness" melt away the moment I walked in. After being welcomed, I was offered my choice of coffee/tea and some welsh cakes, and shown my room. Room was excellent. Soft, comfy beds. Clean, fragant bedsheets. Toilet was just next door. Small little things like being provided a daily bottle of water in my room and having the rubbish bin cleared daily was a bonus. Location was perfect since it was just a stone's throw away from my intended destinations (primarily Stack Rocks, Green Bridge, St Govan's chapel during my coastal path walk, and Tenby to enjoy a day out at the beach). P&M provided bus schedules of the coastal cruiser and gave advice on routes to cover. Breakfast was delicious and more importantly, gave me the energy to go for long walks. Although checkout was at 10am, P&M welcomed me to lounge around the breakfast area after I visited the museum since my train departure was at 3pm. They stayed around and chatted with me, which was really appreciated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and kind. We stayed in a family room and it was absolutely perfect for us (family of 4.). The location was also great- within easy walking distance of Pembroke castle and restaurants.

Pros: Everything. Pam and Mike were so welcoming and could not do enough for us. My little boy was gutted we weren’t going back. The room was spacious, clean and homely. The breakfast was lovely :)
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment of our late arrival ,Pam and mike could not of been more accommodating ,we were greeted with a warm, friendly welcome ,quickly checked in and arrangements made for breakfast the following morning to suit our needs,we were then advised of the best local pubs still open to de stress after our long journey, much appreciated. After a good nights sleep in a super comfy bed,we visited the light and airy breakfast room offering a large selection of cerials, fruit and yoghurts .being on a diet but loving a cooked breakfast ,Pam kindly did me poached eggs, beans, mushrooms and grilled (not fried) bacon and sausage presented in gourmet fashion, nothing was to much trouble and we felt like family rather than guests sharing down to earth humour in friendly banter.other European guests were also well looked after and as pams 2nd language is Spanish she was able to communicate helpful info clearly to them. Our room had a vanity basin and wall hung tv offering a good selection of channels with good clear reception and the shared bathroom with separate loo as well as a great shower and loo was so close to the room it was virtually like en-suite and never over busy for access.the fridge in the room is very handy as also has a small freezer section which was ideal for my cool box blocks.free parking is available directly outside. This hotel is in a great close location to the train station (5 min walk) and a £6 return ticket gets you directly into Tenby or saundersfoot (15 min journey) First train out 10am last one back 940pm which is ideal as you avoid parking fees and hassle of finding parking, plus no restriction on drinking. To stay in Tenby the hotel costs are at least double for the privilege and the hospitality would be difficult to match. Pembroke has one of the best preserved castles I have ever seen ,with a mill pond and a lovely pastel clock tower centres the town which offers an array of handy shops.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Varied selection of cereals, fresh fruit, croissants, good coffee and plenty of it. Disappointing if you were expecting a full english but then it was not listed as an option. We had booked superior double rooms and they were just that with lovely views.
Cons: Could have been more pressure in the shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is nice, bright and spacious. The bathroom modern and wide. The furniture are quite nice and the bed very comfy. The personnel super and very available to any request. Cons: Shower wasn’t great but OK.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location,super clean. Thanks
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My partner and I were after a quiet, secluded weekend away and North Down Farm is exactly that. The house is beautiful, the breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was immaculate, and the welsh cakes replenished daily were a lovely touch. The location is beautiful, although I'd imagine not ideal if travelling without a car, however that can be said for a lot of Pembrokeshire. I'd highly recommend this B&B and we'd definitely stay again if we were back over that way.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Tessa and Laura were exceptional!! We got in the property quite late but they we’re kind enough to right a note with clear instructions on the door. We were having a round of drinks our first night and had to use normal drinking glasses and the following night they brought out wine glasses without us asking (they probably saw the empty wine glasses in the bin!!) On our last day they we left early because we had a kayak experience but they were kind enough to make us croissants for when we came back for our “second breakfast”. The beds were top of class!! Place has lots of character but modern and upgraded. I highly recommend if you want to get away from the throngs of tourists in Tenby.
Cons: Trim the hedges on the way to property and perhaps stronger water pressure in the shower but this is just me nitpicking

Pros: Everything else. Homely comfortable and a very large room. The owner does virtually everything himself and is a fantastic person. It helped that he is a Yorkshire man as I am but everyone local and visiting agreed that he is brilliant. Would I go there again? I am already planning my next visit either later this year or early next year. Nu

Pros: The owners were more than friendly, the room was very clean and comfortable, perfect for a longer stay as it had a sofa etc but we only had the night. The option is there to have food and there's a full bar downstairs. Tenby and Pembroke are very close by with plenty to do or head for a local stroll and take in some history at the palace. Breakfast the next morning was delicious and we enjoyed chatting with Granville, if we are ever back this way we would definitely stay again.
Cons: Couldn't fault it for a bit of peace and quiet after 5 days at Glastonbury

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was lovely and excellent value breakfast when we were able to have it.
Cons: Not being able to book breakfast wasn't ideal. The furniture looked quite old and needs replacing.
7.5 Good
Pros: The owners were very welcoming and accommodated a late arrival from Ireland (by ferry). Rooms in main house very spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good (cereals, fruit, full english). Location has wonderful scenery.
Cons: The self-catering studio apartment for two people, while well equipped, was very small (pictures 37,38,39) - you have been warned!
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Cobwebs, dead flies, terribly uncomfortable beds, NO creature comforts - more like an empty property with a few bits of furniture. No welcome pack. One teaspoon in the draw! Extractor in bathroom not working so steam set the smoke alarm off each time you showered! Avoid!!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great. Just outside Tenby with beautiful scenery. The accommodation was quirky and comfortable.
Cons: There was no lighting along the pathways between the different buildings. There was only an outdoor light above the door.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was a lovely place to stay. Had all amenities needed for the one night we stayed. Views were beautiful and the place was very clean.
Cons: There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property itself. It was just the cost of taxi in to town and back as there was no other way to get there.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money. Excellent location and comfort. Very good breakfast! The owners were truly kind. I would stay there again.

4.3 Okay
Pros: Comfortable bed, tired looking room, needs updating
Cons: Miss match of styles, poor quality, bathroom very tired looking and grubby.Staff didn’t appear to pass on faults and when I did complain no one followed this up, even when promised!!!!!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Size of the room and bed
Cons: The shower had very little power and could not be made to stay hot - just mediocre. The sink plug not connected to the chain. The loo took ages to refill. There was an internal fire door which said emergency exit, obviously unlocked because a fire door can't be anything else, that opened onto a flight of stairs with rolls of carpet halfway down. The bathroom window catch was hanging off - a screw missing. The full English breakfast was of a very mediocre quality, case of quantity not quality, and the bread was barely edible.
7.5 Good
Pros: The food in the restaurant was very good. Everybody was very hospitable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location for exploring the area. Very friendly staff. Nice studio rooms, quite spacious.
Cons: Only quibble was that the fan in the bathroom was noisy and the settee needed reupholstering.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Pool
Cons: Needed a good clean and a revamp
6.8 Good
Cons: The shower in the room was not worth turning on it only just dribbled out very disappointed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good, nice gardens and very peaceful. The spa facilities were also very good. All of the staff were very helpful.
Cons: Some of the rooms were tired and in need of updating. The cleanliness in the bathrooms could have been better, there were clumps of hair in the plugholes and something was leaking causing a pool of water on the bathroom floor. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and 3 of us did not receive the vegetables that were included in the main dish, despite asking the waitresses twice. We were also disappointed that a lot of drinks etc that we wanted were not available, such as the draught beer in the bar, draught soft drinks and hot chocolate at breakfast. The full breakfast was also swimming in grease, and one of us had a dead fly in the fried egg.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Good family room with the added bonus of the pool - great for the kids. When we stated it was the hottest day of the year and being on the ground floor meant we couldn’t leave the windows open wide all night - called reception and they were straight on getting us a fan! The pool is such a bonus, although pool times for children are restricted as it’s a spa facility- however it met our needs and the times will suit most families. Great value especially as it was during the school summer holidays. Will return!
Cons: Rooms really spacious although could do with updating the decor but not a detractor!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything the location, staff, facilities, food and room were all fantastic. Lovely place highly recommended.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This was a our third visit here; the first was on our honeymoon; this visit was to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary. Lovely location.
Cons: Despite e-mailing the hotel a week ahead to organise a Vegetarian Gluten Free Breakfast there was no bread or meat alternative available for me ON EITHER DAY. At £12.95 a head breakfast was not cheap. It's not rocket science and left me disappointed. The bed was a small double and neither or us slept well because of the bed size.
