Price - great value. Location - could walk to event center across the street and walk to historic downtown & waterfront. Train at 2:30 AM - very loud! Room temperature swung wildly from oven to meat locker. Location (two-edge sword) - an event I did not attend meant intrusive security in the parking lot and loud music late into the night.
It has a historical feel mixed with a hotel. It was very beautiful and clean in. however the room service forgot to put our breakfast in. We mainly went to this hotel for the room service and history and we did not get it. After two hours we called and they told us they forgot to put it
Historic & Elegant hotel with a downhome feeling. Just the place for relaxing. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. I wish the windows on the revolving door were cleaner, and the windows overhead the inside breeze view were cleaner so you could enjoy the sun beaming through clean windows. But even with that it was beautiful.
Room well furnished. The old train station aspect was charming. The breakfast room was nice and the food was reasonably priced. Plenty of parking. Convenient to highways and to the beach highway. The trains going by at night were very loud. The bathroom was quite small.
Very clean hotel with a nice view of the bay. It was within a close proximity to many nice restaurants. Only a 10 minute drive to the beach. Pool wasn't very nice. Decent.
The hotel was in a great location and fundamentally was a nice facility. Room was a bit small for the price; bed was comfortable We had an obnoxious and seemingly intoxicated neighbor on the 7th floor yelling at his female roommate that made the measly 5 hours of sleep we needed to get seem to be a lot compared to what we did get - none. Two complaints filed with the front desk merely resulted in a delayed yelling and by 3 a.m. the same man simply talking and we could still hear him through the wall. Unacceptable for a $140.00+ a night room.
The room was very nice. Clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. The walls were a little thin and the TV remote didn't work.
Historic site with style with efficient caring staff. Nothing not like about the treatment or amenities, everything was fine.
The manager on duty my check out date was so accommodating. ( I wish I would have gotten her name.) My flight was rescheduled for a later time than expected due to a last minute delay. Instead of waiting at the airport for 4 hours, she allowed me to stay at the hotel for a few hours later than my original check out time. She did not have to do that but it was much appreciated. I WILL BE BACK!
Loved the attention to detail.
We enjoyed our stay very much , the staff was very professional, and helpful, the rooms very nice !! I rate it a great place to stay AAAAAAA+++++++ I only wish they had a laundry room
This is a very nice property that is clean and comfortable.
Location and owner was so helpful to make our trip to the area enjoyable. The treats and breakfast were great too.
Our hostess was very sweet and accommodating. We stayed in Elizabeth's room and it was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! If you want to see how they built homes in the late 19th century this is the place!
Barbie makes you feel at home during your stay. She's an amazing cook, so breakfast and cake treats were so very good. Our room was so nice, antiques, quilts, original fixtures and hardware, a full updated bath and lots of windows. We loved staying so much we didn't want to come home. We will definitely be back. There is a small parking area between the house and the Cafe in the back, so if you have guests stop by they have to park on the street.
Location is great!
This remodeled 50's motel offered a modern luxurious decor and superior customer service. Complimentary happy hour and breakfast were just icing on the cake.
The location was great, close to restaurants and attractions. The week we stayed they had a parade go through town. It was lot of fun. Parking was a problem. Very limited. The lighting in the room was very dim, hard to see putting makeup on.
Great location in downtown Pensacola, comfortable beds, simple breakfast that get you going
I liked the boutique feel and the fact that it was geared for younger individuals/ couples. The area was amazing with lots to do within walking distance. There was a Disgusting throw pillow covered in slobber stains and hair on the pillows on our bed. The shower was covered in mold in all the grout. Tilex with bleach would be highly recommended. The shower was a walk out and soaked the floor. No lights in the hallway/closet area so finding clothes was difficult without moving the entire suitcase to the bed and back. They offer a "happy hour" online that never happened because "there weren't enough guests" yet we couldn't even find a spot to park because there were so many guests. Breakfast was 2 kinds of bread to toast or a bagel with 2 cups of yogurt in a bowl with 2 apples in another bowl. There was juice and coffee too. In a world of free hot breakfast at most every hotel I guess I was thinking this boutique style might offer something a little more than just that so we went to bodacious brews for breakfast even though we had budgeted for free breakfast when pricing the room.
The location was great. Within walking distance to all nightlife. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom very small with only a shower that has seen it's day. Should be updated a bit more. No light in shower, so it's hard to see. We usually stay at The Grand, which is almost $30 cheaper than the Sole Inn. I'm not sure this is a $150 /night room.
