Price was fairly priced Breakfast was poorly maintained and not enough choices had two different cereals and a waffle machine orange juice was horriable
Can`t beat the price, 40$/night with breakfast and the girl at the front desk was friendly and cute. You get what you pay for!! Place is dirty, outdated and rundown, the breakfast is a pathetic joke.
It was dirty. Towels were hard. Bed was stained. Tv was all static
Very dirty, flickering light, no hot water at sink, pot seeds on floor, tv screen smeared with food, etc. yuck.
Lost the reservation told us they had no rooms when someone else proceeded to ask for a room he told them they had one. Very dirty. Very very dirty. Dirty sheets on top of it all
Staff was friendly No wifi in the hotel at all, advertised for a fitness centre that was permanently closed, we had to ask for towels because none were provided, only had one television channel and it was in Spanish, there were bugs in the bed, advertised as close to beaches but they were over a 30 minute drive away, only options for breakfast were white bread and grain cereals, and the laundry facilities were only half functioning (had four washers and four dryers and only two of each worked).
Room was cramped, television did not work, phone did not work, and very poor lighting. Parking was horrorific.
The price. The room was shabby. TV was hard to watch. There was a urine smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was mediocre.
Good location on major highway. Clerk not welcoming or friendly. Outside doors were supposed to be locked 24 hours per day, never locked. We never could get shower to work; no phone or clock in room. No mini refrigerator in room, even though my confirmation said there was. Coffee maker in room; however, no coffee for it. Asked desk clerk, said does not supply.
Very friendly staff. Everyone greeted us with a "good morning" in the morning, which is rare for a hotel these days. We paid about $70/night for our weekend stay. I've paid $50/night in the same neighborhood for a similar quality hotel. So while this hotel was fine, I would choose a cheaper one next time (or ask if they could give us a discount to $55/night or so).
Our reservations were not there when we arrived. We were 50 miles away when I called to check our reservations when I was told we did not have one and that they had been booked for days before. A nice way to find out! Will not use this again! No rooms available in the area.
The location was good. This was the worst hotel experience ever! My best friend, brother, and I was in the area for the weekend and we needed to stay there for one night. First of all, it was difficult to find the hotel because the sign was not as visible as it should be. Also, when we walked into the hallway leading to the room it was unbelievably hot. We requested a non-smoking room, but they put us in a smoking room. Once we walked in, the smell of smoke slapped us in our face. The walls were dirty, the refrigerator and microwave was rusty, the light in the bathroom didn't work, the towels were stained, the pillowcases were dirty, the television channels didn't work, the ironing board was dirty. Also, the key card did not work for the front door. When asked to move to another room, the other room smelled wet and had cigarette burn marks on the sheets. Unfortunately we couldn't switch hotel because they wouldn't refund us our money. Terrible experience!
It was close to highway 10... Nice front look Smell in the room , carpet, we had bugs on the lamp i hope not in the bed or my bags, loud people talking next to our window and smoking there
WE DID NOT LIKE ONE SINGLE THING ABOUT THIS MOTEL! Horrible motel!
The price paid is right for the hotel. Well located in Pensacola blvd and the receptionist was very nice. We didn't have any issues with our late check in at 1am. The room was not cleaned on our second day. The continental breakfast included are only blueberry muffins, facilities were not very comfortable, but good enough for a cheap getaway weekend.
One of our 3 rooms did not have any problems after we struggled with them to jet enough towels for an occupancy of 4. The cleaning folks did not like to provide more than two towel sets. In addition to the towel struggle, one room had a leaking air conditioner unit that soaked a section of the rug. The other unit had an air conditioner failure which forced a room change for the second night.
Absolutely nothing at all. The location (bad part of town & I never felt safe--outside or even inside of my room WITH THE DOOR LOCKED), very small parking lot, no elevator (only stairs), side entrance doors don't work, hallways have NO a/c (in fact, it feels like the HEAT is on 24/7), ice machines on both floors were broken, carpets were filthy and smelled like mold, my bathroom had cigarette ashes all over the floor and inside the bathtub, i found 3 roaches in my room, my A/C didn't work (it blew room temperature air, even on the "high cool" setting), I was provided one roll of toilet paper for a 4 night stay, the microwave and fridge were FILTHY (microwave would power on, but it DID NOT HEAT ANYTHING AT ALL), TV only picked up about 10 channels, and ALL OF THEM were nothing but static my entire stay; therefore, I couldn't even watch TV, the WiFi was a HORRIBLE CONNECTION (They use the WiFi from a motel across the street, called the Magnuson Inn, which might explain the VERY POOR & UNRELIABLE CONNECTIVITY--I actually had to add 4GB to my data plan during my trip to my wireless plan because the WiFi wouldn't stay connected and was wasting my data!) The room keys are extremely unreliable (mine had to be reset nearly every time I left my room to go somewhere. I finally made it a habit of just getting them reset "just to be on the safe side...") The front desk staff was rude, and they never answered the phone 50% of the time when I'd call, they failed to call me for my wake up call each morning (luckily I had my cell phone alarm set), I could smell marijuana being smoked from another room close by to me, My toilet overflowed the 2nd day (FYI: I was gone from my room most of my trip. I literally only showered and slept there.) Three electrical sockets didn't work, and the location is awful...everywhere I went, it seems as if I was always having to make U-Turns just to arrive back at this motel. I WOULD RATHER SLEEP IN MY CAR THAN STAY AT THIS COCKROACH IN. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! IF I HAD THE OPTION, I WOULD RATE IT NEGATIVE 5 STARS! **ALSO: THEY DO NOT SERVE BREAKFAST AT ALL, AS THEY ADVERTISE.**
It was very clean, staff very hospitable so very polite, comitted Bed mattresses old sprangs in bed very uncomfortable, ceiling fixtures missing popcorn paint peeling, a/c worked on and off linen needs replacing overall because it was clean and staff very kind humble
It was very cheap, comfy clean room, very quiet due to being empty, 10 minutes from the beach. Poor upkeep, rust on lamps in rooms, carpets had nails sticking through them, mat in tub was very old and gross looking.
Very dirty hotel with a bad smell and mold. Holes in drapes, carpets, walls, chairs, tables.
The location was okay. I didn't like that my room was dirty, my bathroom was dirty and had a hole in the bathroom door, and at the foot of the bed was sunflower seeds shells that someone was eating and push them underneath the bed skirt on the floor and they where still there. That show to tell you that the room wasn't clean like it supposed too. The towels was stain and then they ran out of towels, saying they washer went out. I would not recommend this hotel.
Hallway smells cigarette in non smoking rooms
The convenience of location to what I needed to do and where I needed to be while in Pensacola. Could not change the channels on the TV.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. CAT URINE, WATER SOAKED CARPET, NO HOUSE KEEPING SEVICES AFTER 5. Find any other location in pensacola except this one. Should be removed from all hotel booking websites.
Amazingly efficient, diligent and friendly staff! The hotel itself is in the middle of a remodel, but for a place to rest between trips to the beach, the price and the friendly faces can't be beat!
It was a bed to sleep in and we didn't see any bugs. The air conditioning kept the room at a comfortable temp. The room had a strange smell, which we got used to after awhile. There was a frozen drink left in the fridge, I wonder how long it had been since they last opened it. The hair dryer didn't work. The plug for the bath didn't seal so bathtime for my son consisted of constantly having to add water. "Breakfast" was only cereal.
good for the price
Flooring peeling up and tripping hazard. One ice machine in front lobby. Not enough parking for guests. Employees parking in premium parking spot by office. Stained pillows. Hair on sheets. Rooms small. Dogs barking. Employee almost did not find reservation that was in system from 6 days prior. Would not recommend this hotel.
It was quieter I thought it would be.
good bed , good tv line up
