Excellent service. Easy to check in . lovely room and excellent food No I have no complaints qabout this room
Comfortable room and facilities inside, excellent breakfast, panorama around, good atmsphere, location on a riverside,
Exceptional facility, excellent rooms, great staff, easy access and all amenities. Waterside rooms not available through booking.com.
New hotel with excellent Spa. In spite of best intentions the staff does not live up to 5 stars. Food bland even though bfast recommendable to Austrian standards. Just not reaching standards in neighbouring Dolomites or Engadinen !
The quality of the building, the location is fantastic. The staff was ok. We can not have dinner at about half past nine.
The spa is excellent, luxurious and the staff are true profesionals and fantastic.Very good bar staff and one exceptional breakfast waiter who was slightly older than the other staff but a true star. A rediculous system of having reserved tables for breakfast. When I mentioned this to the manageress, her answewr to me was " you had a table, didn"t you". Not having the hotel telephone number on the room telephones so one does not have to trawl through the hotel paperwork to find the number. Why have a plastic badge pinned onto your dressing gown with the room number clearly displayed , this is for children not adults staying in a 5* hotel.
good welcome, clean room and good buffet breakfast as well as good restaurant with nice menu. I reported that the shower was lukewarm and they appeared to have fixed it, but the heat was never adequate after an energetic day's walking in the mountains. For people without a car it was a little out of town.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is well situated, right beside the cable car, and near the castle with art exhibitions. There are also hiking trails that start just outside the hotel. The hotel is about ten minutes walk from the town centre. I was offered a choice of rooms (first time in my experience). There was a balcony facing east and south, with a great view of the Dolomites. This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful, relaxed area and I recommend it highly.
Very friendly staff and a very beautifull place to relax.
It was perfect for our use as a base to explore the region around Lienz. The location was also great for exploring the town Have no adverse comments
A typical austrian guesthouse with a good standard of cleanliness in a quiet part of Lienz We came during the week and it was very quiet but they have larger biker groups of weekends, so it could be a different story then.
Quiet & peaceful; charming & helpful staff; comfortable room & bed.
Mainly the old fashioned style
At Durnstein, we enjoyed the old building, the antiques and the general ambience although the hotel staff were not that friendly. We were not able to receive any English language T.V. channels on the T.V. in our room.
lovely area, very good staff, would be lovely to see in the winter no air conditioning!!!
Nice location The hotel is dated with old furniture that instead of trying to make it look classic, they make it look old, as what it actually is.
Rooftop swimming pool with stunning views
This was a fantastic Hotel with very spacious rooms and a rooftop swimming pool with beautiful views of the mountains
great location, nice breakfast on terrace overlooking square, nice atmosphere in historic building. Not applicable
Staff were helpful & restaurant was very good.
It has been the best hotel we had in Austria ( we choosed only 4 and 5 stars hotels). Excellent breakfast buffet, spacious room, modern and enormous bathroom. The restaurant is good, but nothing exceptional (it's rather a pizzeria and not smoke-free, however the breakfast is served in other rooms, not in the restaurant).
Large spotless rooms with excellent views. Very good food. Very friendly staff. No.
The superb views over Lienz, the friendly staff, the beautiful rooms and the quality of food in the restaurant. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.
location, views from room, friendly reception, internal decor, regional food
The hotel is located outside of town but has a beautiful view of the mountains
We had a lovely view of Lienz; the food was wonderful; and the shower was the best in Europe ... great water pressure and a full glass (accordian style) enclosure to keep the water in the tub; comfortable beds. Nothing at all. Well, there was the smell of smoking. Apparently smoking is permitted in Austria in some public areas (the bar??). I find that distasteful, but my room was great.
Lovely view. Nice dinner, friendly helpful staff. Not close to towncentre if that's what you would like. Cobblestones can get slippy (uphill!) when wet for motorbikes.
Fantastic setting, extremely helpful/interested staff. Went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Can't rate it highly enough. Decor brilliant. Unfortunately there was very little information in English, however staff were v. helpful. If instruction in the hotel were also in English ie sauna/leisure use then this hotel would be 100% perfect.
The view! Friendly, helpful staff.
The Hotel Haidenhof is situated just outside the old town (5 minute walk) on a hillside, resulting in breathtaking views of both the surrounding mountains and also Lienz itself. The hotel is very tastefuly furnished with rooms (including bathroom) being of above average size, many of which have balconies taking in the views described above. Beds were also a good quality and the shower was great. Breakfast was simply outstanding with foods ranging from cereals, yoghurts, fruit, breads, pastries, cold meats / cheeses, salmon / herring rollmops, boiled eggs along with bacon and scrambled eggs. We also used the restaurant for dinner and again the food was just wonderful, whilst both the "house" red and white wines were above average and strongly recommended. In summary had a wonderful stay at this hotel, capped off by friendly staff service and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending or returning to this hotel when next in the area. N/A
hotel staff very friendly, cleanliness, very good service and the overall experience was a very relaxing one.
we liked the location, the quality of food, the cleanness, the swimming pool and the pool as we were travelling by bycicle, it was a little tiring to reach the hotel, since there are 2.5 km uphill
Absolutely everything. First of all, the location is amazing... facing a beatuful and paceful lake in the middle of a mountain. The rooms were also fantastic, big with big terrace and amenities. Food was excellent, with good selection of fresh fruits in the breakfast and very fresh fish from the lake in the dinner. Staff was also very friendly and we really felt welcome there. Totally recomendable. I loved everything. There was no air conditioning in the room, however, AC was not needed despite the fact that we were there in July (summer).
The location is absolutely stunning. The lake and the mountains are the perfect backdrop for a relaxing time.
Consistent excellent service
Beautiful hotel in a small village hanging above the valley. The design and decoration taste is very pleasant. Good sized rooms with a nice decoration touch. Rather high cuisine in the restaurant. Friendly efficient staff. Great location in perfect silence in the middle of a typical mountain village. Very recommendable. nothing really.
The hotel is in a very picturesque position and we enjoyed staying outside the city for a change. The rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast which was included was very good. N/A
kindly staff, good food, comfortable rooms
Fantastic place, wonderful location, very friendly and observant staff, clean. Is there anything more you need ?No No
Located in Anras, a small countryside town mid-hill alongside B100 route, Pfleger Hotel sits between Austrian's Grassglockner High Roads and Italian's Dolomiti Moutains. Either direction takes about one and half drive. It offers decent guest rooms for couples or families and delicious local cuisine. The view around the hotel is wonderful, especially during dawn and dusk when the day the clear. Service is friendly and staff understands English well. Highly recommended.
Kindness of the staff, beautyful view from the room, pretty and clean rooms, nice breakfast and perfect dinner! No wifi in the rooms only in the common places, restaurant is closed from 8 p.m.
