Pros: Fantastic managers who were kind and interesting, who spoke excellent English and who were more than willing to adapt to our needs. We were welcomed warmly into an interesting environment full of quirky, imaginative furniture, lighting and decorations made by the managers from recycled materials. The food and wine were very good - we´re difficult because this is an inland area famous for hunting and we eat neither meat nor meat products. Alexei catered for us beautifully. He and Veronica are full of energy and are incredibly creative. I think that children would have a very good time, here, because there are many lovely things for them to play with and we saw how good our hosts were with children - not surprising, they have 2 little ones of their own. Our room had a lovely outlook over water and a gushing waterfall with a mountain behind; the trees changing colour were very beautiful. The church has some interesting modern ironwork depicting animals as part of a fence around its side. We recommend that visitors visit the next tiny village, Chequilla. The white houses contrast markedly with the sculptural, red rock stacks, rather like fat totem poles sculpted by nature. Small houses sprout out of them at the back of this charming little place.
Cons: This truly is nit-picking because the experience was a good one but there were 1 or 2 little practicalities that we would have liked: towel rails to allow towels to dry because there was plenty of space for these. There was a lot of empty space in the room so if the bed had been re-positioned we could BOTH have had a bedside table/cabinet. A comfortable chair would also have been appreciated. As I say, just suggestions, they didn´t affect the overall, very good quality of this experience.
Pros: A very nice family hotel in a quiet tranquil area of Spain, ideal for outdoor activities. The rooms very clean and well presented with everything you need. The food was very good with a choice of home cooked meals every night.
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect.
Pros: Food was amazing and we had really good wine. Very friendly and nice staff. It’s a family run hotel and the host is very welcoming and gave us lots of information. Nice interior decoration, not standard at all so it gives a nice and personal ambiance. All in all It’s a hotel with a heart & a soul!

Pros: good swimming pool nice view from wide window
Cons: no coffee making facility and no room service or phone in the room terrible breakfast only a little bread and ham or jam and a hot drink, Uncommunicative staff and unfriendly service - almost rude at times, came in to clean the room despite the no disturb sign which they asked us to use. Would not show us where to park - beware of getting stuck in the gravel. Most inconvenient, no appology offered. No dinner service until after 9pm. Unwilling to open the pool up in the published times of opening. Irritating experience, not relaxing.
Pros: Very spacious rooms, clean, friendly staff and good food

Pros: Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, beds were fine. The town is charming and we had a great meal in town at Bar El Gallo, who had a lot of Spanish craft beers.
Cons: We had to wait to check in until 7:00pm (we knew this when we booked, but we arrived on bicycle earlier than we anticipated). The hotel is close to barking dogs that made noise all night. The town is charming and we had a great meal in town.
