Pros: The room and the bed were super clean and the public space was pretty. The winery tour the staff recommended me was such a great tour.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything you want in a hostel - comfortable, good showers, friendly staff, good kitchen, option to rent bikes for wine tours.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good cooking facilities, but it was a small area so only 1 person at time really. Great loaction. Could park the our car inside (only 2 spaces). Breakfast was OK. Very friendly host didn't mind our bad Spanish she was always smiling. Very warm cosy fire lighting all the time Big lockers in the dorm with hanging space inside.
Cons: Only 2 bathrooms so your timing had to be good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a perfect place to stay. Good location, good facilities, clean and a good breakfast. We got info about wineries and the place we visited was great!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a great place to stay in Santa Cruz. Jenna and Moritz are great hosts. They’re very friendly and helped us book a nice wine tour. The bikes we rented from them were very nice and much better than some other bikes we’ve rented. They also offer bike tours like a tour to a small local winery, though we didn’t go on any of their tours. They keep the shared bathrooms very clean, and the breakfast is good as it has fruit, hard boiled eggs and cheese in addition to the basics offered in most places. It’s a really nice place!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners of this hostel are awesome and very helpful. They have a lot of knowledge of the nearby wine farms and provide assistance to book. Every morning they replaced the linen of people checking out and cleaned the whole hostel. They also offer full day bike rental and are well kitted out.
Cons: The shower pressure was not great.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Well located, super helpful with organising tour. Very comfortable bed, clean etc. Good breakfast too.
Cons: Only two bathrooms, never a major issue but for the price would be good to have more facilities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This lovely hostel run by Jenna and Moritz is fabulous! Before we even got to the hostel, Jenna contacted us and sent us a guide of the main vineyards around and their 2 suggested main routes for getting to them by bike. Awesome up front information. Then when we arrived at 8:30am, when check in isn’t until the afternoon, our room was already ready so we could check in, with Jenna even putting out an plates for us to have breakfast! THE best thing after a bad nightbus. During our stay Jenna made recommendations for us and bookings for us also to visit some of the wineries and have lunch. She also hooked us up with their great bikes to make the visits. The hostel itself is really nice and very clean, plus the beds are comfy. Would 100% recommend this hostel to anybody who’s coming to Santa Cruz.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good hostel! Friendly couple and we like the fireplace a lot! Also beds are comfy and they clean a lot.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice bed, WiFi was good, bike rental, wine trips and kitchen and common areas

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Situated amongst grape vines ads charm. The reception we received was exceptional.
Cons: The $25USD charge for the hot tub was a surprise, given that the ad implied it was included.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fernanda was the property manager (I think - not sure if her actual title), and she was so helpful setting up wine tours for us. It was also our honeymoon, and she went out of her way to make us feel special. The hotel was about a 20 minute drive to most vineyards.
Cons: Some of the facilities were a little outdated but it went with the rustic charm of the old busking, so even that wasn’t bothersome.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location with great attention to detail.Amongst Vineyards and walking distance to top restaurants. They are expending over the next few weeks so beware of a little building work away from the actual accommodation! This will make this hotel even more amazing if that is possible. Great hosts and lovely friendly staff. Nothing was too much hassle. You will love this beautiful clean comfortable hotel. We will return xxxx
Cons: Our stay was too short!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best hotel in Colchagua. Everything was perfect. I will be back for sure. The manager, Fernanda, is absolutely amazing. She turnned ou trip into an unforgetable dream. If you wanna have a life experience in the Valley, stay at Parronales.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owner and staff are very attentive to client needs. They book unique and off-the-beaten path winery tours and incredible mountainside sunset tastings. Eggs were cooked to order (slow scrambled or quick fried) each morning and fresh blended juices (raspberry and pineapple) were provided each day. The cooks were sweet and attentive...it just like eating breakfast at grandma’s house and the food didn’t disappoint. They found us local private cars to take us places each day at very reasonable prices. The drivers waited patiently at each winery stop.
Cons: Nothing. It was great.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The friendliness of Fernando and her family and being given a sample of their own wine! Gorgeous vineyard setting and nice and quiet. Great eggs at breakfast.
Cons: I’d say this place is more rustic than boutique, although I think we had the most basic room (double bed was a bit small). For the price per night it would have been reasonable for the hot tub to be included in the price rather than a surcharge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I had an amazing stay at Hotel Parronales. It was by far the best hotel experience we had in Chile. Philippe and his staff were such kind, welcoming hosts from the very beginning. They helped us arrange a private driver to the wineries and were always offering us complimentary wine, tea, and refreshments. The hotel was located in a nice and quiet area away from the main city with lots of beautiful trees, grape vines, hammocks, and a nice clean pool. The perfect spot to relax after a day at the wineries! We have no complaints about Hotel Parronales!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great service - Very nice terrace and swimming pool - Amazing view over the vineyard
Cons: Shower in the tub was a bit dangerous getting in and out - Rooms could use a little renovation -
6.3 Good
Pros: The people in the hotel was very nice and kind. They offered us everything we needed
Cons: . The facilities did not match our expectations. The room was cold and heating didn’t work very good (actually had an anoing sound) the door dinner closed correctly and the bathroom had spider nets up un the filling.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Cristian was so warm and friendly, and really made us feel at home! The lodge is modern, clean, and stylish, and grounds are really beautifully landscaped. It was lovely to come home from a day of wine tasting and relax by the pool or on the back patio overlooking the neighboring vineyard.
Cons: Not really a con, but travelers should be aware there are three dogs who live here - they are friendly and sweet, but if you're allergic or uncomfortable with dogs, it might impact the comfort of your stay.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff and rooms
Cons: Not much. It’s a little pricey but the value is there.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Mandy was very friendly and made us feel at home. The property is beautiful and resides in a vineyard. You can walk or run around the property. Mandy and Christian have dogs that join along for the walk too. Also there is a barbecue, we didn't realize we could bring our own food to cook, which is nice! The rooms are very clean.

Pros: Quinta Maria is a beautiful old building in the Spanish colonial style. The rooms are large and cool, even in the hottest weather. And everywhere there is beautiful vegetation, and a delightfully refreshing swimming pool. But what makes Quinta Maria special is the welcome and hospitality of the host, Gabriela and Juan Eduardo. They are the kindest of people, and their breakfasts - a feast of good, local products - were wonderful. Gabriela and Juan Eduardo couldn’t do enough for us, and they made our stay very special.

Pros: Fabulous breakfast and a really beautiful hotel. A real gem. A beautiful old building with lots of space that you would never think exists from the front. A haven in a busy town.
Cons: The only slight negative is the location as Santa Cruz itself is not that pretty and the hotel is on the main street which is quite busy. However you don't notice this when you're inside and the hotel itself is otherwise very convenient for visiting the valley.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everthing is great!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff, casita, restaurant, food and wine were exceptional.
Cons: When spending as much as you do to stay on property the Clos Apalta wine tour should be included.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our Villa Cabernet was large and welcoming. We enjoyed the fireplace each night with a cup of Nespresso. We loved the comfortable King Bed with rose petal scented sheets. Amazing terrace view from the large bathroom. Complimentary mini fridge with soft drinks and snacks and good Wi-Fi. Being the first Villa, it scarified view of the valley and Andes to be closed to the main residence. Although they could do a better job pruning more vegetation to get a better view. Personalized menus were a nice touch. At mealtimes, French sommelier was eager and proud to show off Lapostolle wines. Enjoyed breakfast next to the fireplace, mornings in Nov 2018 were chilly. All the staff was friendly and efficient. Half board 2 night rate included a tour to Clos Apalta winery and another Viña, we chose MontGras with transportation. With only 4 private villas availability is limited, book early, we could only stay 2 nights. We visited several Viñas in the area; the ones we enjoyed the most were Clos Apalta and Montes. Another activity we appreciated was Pilar Rodriguez Food and Wine Studio cooking class at Viña Viu Manent.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It is a beautiful hotel - with stunning views of the valley. Perfect for a couple's romantic trip - the casitas (room) feel quite secluded and you feel you have the hotel all to yourself
Cons: Service was Inconsistent - perfect at dinner and terrible at breakfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The vineyards. The alpacas
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was a dream! From the beautiful view, amazing and private villas, excellent food and service, we loved everything. The villas even have stocked fireplaces. The wine was amazing too.

Featured amenities include multilingual staff, laundry facilities, and a library. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours) and a train station pick-up service.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is good; walking distance to the museum and plaza de armas. Many vinyards are located close by (10-20 minutes by car). The hotel as such is comfortable and cosy. We enjoyed our stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The Vendimia is easy to find, located just off the Main Street and four very long blocks from Santa Cruz’s central plaza. It has a great deal of style (colonial with lots of ornate wood, tons of art, artifacts, and interesting furniture), and the guest rooms are charming and inviting. The host was also warm and welcoming, and the (included) breakfast, while not fancy, was ample.
Cons: Our only complaint was the our room was quite cold at first. After a few hours, the wall-mounted heater finally seemed to win out over the wintry temperatures. Stronger lightbulbs in the rooms would also make them feel cozier.
6.8 Good
Pros: Great helpful staff who helped us book things. Nice breakfast with good selections
Cons: Little bit dated but comfortable. Santa Cruz itself not great but surrounding areas for vineyards are great
7.5 Good

Cons: The room that we were given was ver small, especially as there were free larger rooms. Given that we had booked for 3 nights we felt that we should have had a better room. Kind and hospitable owners. 5 minutes walk to some of the best restaurants in town - super safe. Comfortable beds and hot shower with good pressure. Heated by wall heater in room. Off street parking a nice bonus.
Cons: It was a little cold around the B&B other than in our room but not much different from other places in Chile in winter (just wore my coat around). WiFi was a bit frustrating as it only reached one corner of our room (worked perfectly in common spaces).
