Nice pool, very quite, room and bed were very nice and comfortable Don't eat there!!! Breakfast or evening!!! Prices are high for a very low standard food and cooking quality. Also air conditioning was not working in room
A very atmospheric hotel in a beautifull location and good accessability. Lovely resteraunt with mountain views and excellent food.
Very friendly and helpful staff, The resturant offered very good food at reasonable prices. The Hotel is very well positioned for trips in to some fantastic countryside. Have already recommend this hotel to several friends and we will be returning ourselves.
Everything about this hotel was very good. The attic room was beautifully finished in wood. Ample cupboards. Lovely balcony with excellent view. Good pool and sunbathing area. Ainsa is a must see place and the whole area is wonderful. Fixed price dinner was good. On the main road to the hotel there is a big works (sand and gravel?). We could hear it slightly from the garden on the Friday afternoon but obviously not during the weekend.
Nice and pleasant hotel outside the lovely town of Ainsa . Ideal for both visiting the city and travelling around the great region. Our room was on the noisy side and the air condition was not very effective so when we oppened the door to the balcony the frogs and traffic did not let us sleep .
lovely postion, and nice to have indoor pool and sauna no
Great food, service, position and the indoor pool and jacuzzi is great , will definitely go back no
Staff very helpful and friendly. We arrived on a motorbike and we were not charged to park the bike in their secure garage (bike slipped into a corner so did not utalise a car parking space). Breakfast was excellent. Beds were a bit firm for us
Staff very welcoming. Room comfortable and hotel perfectly situated near old city. Nice restaurant for dinner. Overall, very happy with our stay.
Very nice and plesent hotel. Very good and clean facilities. excelent value for money. great location for traveling in the Pyrenees.
It was so easy, good food, internet access free, parking outside, A real treat.
Just a night stopover during journey
The accommodation was above average, loved the duplex layout.
Friendly staff very relaxed atmosphere the hotel is very much part of the community ,large public bar/cafeteria and while the description says it has no parking there is parking
we found it had very helpful staff, the room was very clean, warm and comfortable. secure car parking. ideal stop over for France/Spain.
In the centre of Ainsa. It provided a comfortable bed for the night. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Plenty of Restaurants nearby. The entrance to the supposedly secure Car Park managed to damage 2 out of 3 bikes in our party because of the severe camber on either side of the gate track. They were so badly damaged our friends couldn't continue their holiday. The Air Conditioning unit in my room leaked so badly it flooded the bedroom within one hour. Only one member of Staff really tried to help and liaise with us. The Bar / Cafe within the hotel (open to the public) was very rough & ready.
Nothing partcicularly. The open smoking policy. The entire hotel reeked of cigarette smoke. In addition, to have a breakfast included in the hotel price that was held in an open smoking public bar was unacceptable in the extreme. Spain needs to get themselves out of the middle ages in smoking policy.
Good for older part of Isaba. Map of where this was hopelessly out as to where the hotel actually is
Clean and modern rooms
Nice room with good view of river No restaurant, bar is smokey
Cleanliness, convenience, attitude and helpfulness of staf and price None
Centrally located. Good staff, plenty of good parking secure parking Would be better if breakfast was included in the room rate
The location of the hotel was excellent for hiking tours around the Aragon region. The personnel of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. Not very much to mention bad points, but the breakfast and especially dinners were slight disappointments - there were better places in Ainsa to eat in the evenings.
Friendly staff. Having a fridge in the room weas a definite plus. Well positioned for visiting the Ordesa National Park. Nasty smell of drains in the bathroom only stopped by keeping the plug in the bidet.
The room was relatively large and it had a comfortable couch and other useful accessories. The breakfast wasn't worth to its price.
The location was excellent, easy to find and the welcome very good after a long journey. As a 2 Star hotle I found the facilities excellent and would stay again. I can think of none on our stay
Convenient location with secure parking. Welcoming, basic but comfortable and clean with good breakfast. Price very fair.
Good views None
Clean comfortable rooms, very helpful and courteous staff. Very good breakfast spread for an extra charge (worth it I think). Location is good - just over the bridge from town (5 min walk), and 20 min walk or so from the upper Old Town. Ainsa is a great base for hikes in the nearby National Park (though be prepared for very narrow and winding mountain roads to get to the trailheads).
Good location with walk up to the walled part of the town. Reasonable price
Easy parking and good location. Restaurant reasonable and food good. restaurant didn't open until 9pm and then bar was shut when we had finished.
Very friendly and helpful staff, let us use the secure hotel car park for our motorbikes free of charge. Food was great. Would book again.
Lovely area. A lift would have been handy!
views, decor including sitting area with room no
The hotel was functional and clean and served our purpose of a one night stay - not somewhere to linger though the room was on the smallside and there was a busy road to the front of the hotel - where our room was locted - but it was only one night
The language facilities
Gorgeous, atmospheric design, excellent location on the main Plaza at medieval Ainsa.Only a short drive to one of the National parks. The son of the owner showed us the celler and explained the renovation. Nice breakfast.Quiet and romantic rooms.Probably great for honeymooners. Athough the service was fine, and the hotel is beautifully renovated, the hotel seems overpriced: Ainsa in September is a ghost town. There is little reason to stay there for more than one night.Only one of the two good restaurants was open for dinner. Boring.
Everything! The areas was a lovely interlude after more hectic parts of Spain. I was extremely comfortable, there was nothing better than lying on the huge comfortable bed looked out through the balcony to the beautiful vista. The location allows access to the Pyrennes and great countrside. Restaurants in the area provide pleasant reasonably priced meals. The language barrier did not stop the proprietors from providing great service. I think reviews on this hotel have not reflected its serenity, beauty, and that it is a magnificent stay when travelling through northern Spain.
Good service, nice rooms.
This hotel experience was simply great! The innkeepers, Sylvia and her partner were very helpful and always going out of their way to help Americans who spoke very little Spanish. We would certainly return again and would recommend this hotel to friends. We stayed two extra nights we liked the hotel so well! None.
The hotel was beautiful, the pool was a refreshing surprise, the restaurant had a vegetarian menu, and the location was perfect -- right next to the cathedral. Management rules for use of the pool were ridiculous: 20 Euros deposit for each towel??? Mandatory bathing cap for ladies, which had to be purchased at the front desk??? This is the mark of a manager that has no experience at a luxury hotel.
The beautifully appointed room, with lovely views, a balcony, comfortable bed and sofa, nice bathroom, air-conditioning, good-quality cotton sheets and towels, the mini-fridge, double-glazing to keep out any noise, and the delicious, ample breakfasts. No
Really nice and friendly staff and the room was gorgeous, only stayed for one night but wished it could be longer!
What a beautiful location in Ainsa! And what a beautiful little hotel! We had a lovely time there!
A really nice small hotel. Exceptionally well restored old building in a medieval town. Great position right on the (quiet) town square.
The bedroom and bathroom were very stylishly decorated. Very comfortable. Wireless Internet access would have been good, instead of by a cable. Also ideally a english news channel - World service??. Otherwise excellent
Hotel is situated in the main pedestrianised plaza of this mediaeval fortified village above the main town of Ainsa. Bedrooms are large enough, ensuite facilities very good, no evening meal but plenty of restaurants/bars in the vicinity. Breakfast taken in the vaulted ceilinged basement at a large communal table. Wonderful panoramic views.
We had only one night and so could not form a fair opinion, but everything about it was above our expectations
pleasant experience, wonderful location near the National Park, quaint old town, nice breakfast.
Los Arcos is a boutique hotel in a boutique village with a plethora of good restaurants. Our room was comfortable and quiet even though looking over the main square. There is very good accessibility to the Pyrenees countryside and excellent walks. Our host was very friendly and made the stay a real pleasure. The breakfast was basic and below the standard expected in a hotel of this quality.
A lovely large room with a balcony and view over the square. Clean modern bathroom. An excellent breakfast. Compared with others we stayed in it was over-priced.
