Was in a nice quiet location. I felt it was tired and was in dire need of a refurbishment
Generic, big Croatian hotell.
Hotel built during communist era, with small rooms with a double bed, and that's all. They changed the door handles: the 'new' ones are rusty in the mean time, but one can see the shape of the old ones -> so the doors did not see any paint during the last 15 years!
eavning program was liittle bit fair no
beachfront situation wonderful, range of facilities excellent, access good, ample parking. maintenance man extremely helpful! 1 or 2 reception staff not so helpful when asked about tourist information matters. On matters directly about the hotel they were fine. Breakfast fruit salad tasted of syrup not fruit
its not worth ..how close to the sea it is..
Hotel is clean and upper scale for Europe in general, stuff is very helpfull and always want to extra mile to assist you. Overall higly recomended. Lack of parking space, big problem. Every night had to park very far from the entrance on gravel road.
-Breakfast was kind of "ok" (except coffee and tea) -"Sea side view" does not mean having a view..(after complaining we accepted the 3rd offered room and then had some view) - Stinky smell in the bathroom. - Coffee made with chloor water...amateuristic and awfull taste. - Two seperate beds for a maried couple (all 3 rooms) - Not enough parking facility's (it was high season therfore with mild understanding) - Sound isolation of rooms was poor. - Child friendly hotel....result lots and lots of kids.
The hotel is clean and brand new, breakfast was really good
old style room design (low square)
The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Our room was in the older section of the hotel and it wasn't very clean. There were mysterious stains on the curtain.
I was given the wrong room on the first day - the next day, I had to wait a whole day to be transferred. they never said sorry just about ur cash
scenic view, good food, spacious, clean room luggage drop is somewhat complex. who knows the button call needed to approach the lobby when someone first come? dinner restaurant in the hotel run by only buffet. i have no choice.
Excellent location in the midst of greenery and immediatelly at the beach.
It's really a nice, but quite old hotel. Value for many - perfect!
the hotel was probably the quietest in the group on the resort.handy to local supermarket but not too close and easy enough to get the bus into the city.on a beautiful coastline, helpful staff.
The breakfast is OK. Situation is good for spending all time near the sea. Hotel is awful, no conditioner in the room. So to feel normal You need to go there in winter, not in the hot season. Bathtrooms are ugly, after taking shower You could use it like a pool. (shower upholstery exist but does not work). Don't go to this hotel.
Very good option of upgrading to half board for an extra 3 euros per person. Nice pool area. Good for a short stop over as part of a longer tour. No airconditioning in rooms. It was also quite boring, although clean and modern it lacked atmosphere!
The personnel was extremely helpful and nice. Room very clean. Great view from the room on the see side.
Friendly staff Good food choices at reasonable price Value for money Lovely setting Quiet bedrooms No real bad points, some staff semed more surly than others on the surface but this was found to be shyness, or lack of confidence with language.
hotel staff okay, the location is very good, the bed and balcony are good, the breakfast very good, no noise in the hotel... according the room and services (no coolbox, too hot in the room, bathroom poor, too small perking places) it is too expensive
the swimming pool area was good. a lot to choose from in the buffet meals. some areas are proven by age and use. no a/c or refrigerator in the rooms.
The position in regards to Medulin.
near the beach
we had an confermation to pay 88 euro for 2 nights for 2 persons inclusief tax and braekfast The hotel charged us 120 euro, they had no message on my oneline reservation........so now i cannot "trust" the bookings via booking.com. pleas give me an reaction. The booking was for 1 and 2 august Mrs denijs from Amsterdam.
Location New staff! (not friendly) Noisy
it was relaxing
Very close to the beach. Nice hotel. The hotel could benefit from a renovation, though everything is very clean and confortable.
It is close to Pula and also the Nature Reserve with fantastic water and cliffs. The Hotel staff were not very flexible and helpful
Lovely room and view. The fridge in the room was also really helpful. Having to sit at the same table for evey meal and although it is a buffet service, being served from behind a counter. Having to pay for loungers and umberellas around the hotels swimming pool.
vriendelijk personeel; Propere kamers. Good food. the weather !!!
Hospitality and organisation none
The view from the apartment was very beautiful (the seaside). The room was clean. The region was quite quiet. The pool was ok and I also liked the artistic program at the pool during the evenings. I would have liked to have things to wash dishes and floor with.
the room was very clean and comfortable, very good price. the hotel was so far from the city center,,there were no good restaurants on site and the market they did have, hardly carried anything.
I liked the location and the sea view from the terrace, it is surely worth staying in the sea view room. Overall the place is very comfortable and is not far from the city.
Nic place and good service NO
Good location and value. Swimming Pool was salt water !
View and facilities where very nice I would appreciate if the hotel would have wireless Internet connection in Rooms. Is very unconfortable for all to go at the reception.
beautiful surrounding, peaceful, great view from the room, good food in the restaurant.kitchen is well equipped though a tea kettle and toaster would have been appreciated. bed was too hard, and sheets were rough - oven mitts are needed since pots have steel handles.
Sunset views from our balcony. The room was not cleaned throughout the whole week. Even though staff came into our room after a few days to change the towels, they did not empty the bin or give us more toilet paper.
The view from the terrace and the swimming pool. The tennis courts
Location was just a few blocks from the ruins and the Old Town. The staff were accomodating and friendly. Hotel was a little hard to find. When I e-mailed the hotel for walking directions from the bus station, we were given directions to the ruins and then told to ask someone on the street. We had to ask 2 different people before getting pointed the right direction. In actuality, directions could have been given with only a few turns and would have been easily found. Insist on directions if you need them.
Very comfortable accommodation, excellent spacious terrace/balcony.Close to hotel Belvedere where we could use swimming pool & access beach, have too pay for sunbeds though. Overall good place to stay. Beds very hard, cost of air con not included.
Very good location, close to beach. The apartment was nicely decorated and relatively recently refurbished. The terrace was a nice addition to the apartment. There should be clear statement where to register and also mentioning about extra cooling expenses. The help provided in booking.com was a good tip which we effectively used. Thank you.
Very good place for family vacation. Beach is 200 metres from the apartments. When we wanted pristine beaches we went to Kamnjak (about 10-15 km, pay 20 KN for entrance of the area). 8km from Pula. I had to read from reviews that check-in is in the reception of the Medulin hotel. Adding this information along with description of path to the reception to the resort pages would be helpful.
Rooms were clean, all like in the picture, staff was very helpful and nice. We are very satisfied.
is really silent there.. yes.. the service is a bit low..
The apartment was very nice, clean and had a huge balcony. The site was tasteful and not built up with apartment houses. We weren't overwhelmed by the nearby beaches. Although the sandy beach with wadeable water in walking distance from the apartments is surely recommendable for holidays with small children! Tip: for a sunbath visit the beautiful small island Ceja with a taxiboat (15 min ride).
apartments quite big, nicely decorated with most necessary kitchen appliances, quiet area close to the beach and the reception, car park and its supervision during the day, close to the shops/restaurants and the town centre.in real the apartment looked better than in the photos - nice surprise the apartment was supposed to be 2+2 but the sofa in the living room does not unfold making it impossible to accommodate 4 poeple. our group consisted of 3 adults and 1 child so we didnt need that extra space on the sofa but still we were charged for 4 people even though it said children are for free and the sofa not working. there was no kettle in the kitchen. bathroom - the shower didnt work properly (sewage blocked a bit) and the hair dryer - cord pulled out of the appliance, which is not particurarly safe to use. cleaning services: the rooms and the bathromm well cleaned on arrival but then only toilet paper supplied and the towels changed once during a 6 day stay. no cleanning provided which would be advisable.
The peace and quiet amongst a beautifull setting was outstanding. This apartment was fully equiped and modern with quality touches. The proximity to the beach and local markets was very convenient. It was very confusing when we first arrived where to go to find reception and check in as this is located 500mts away at the Hotel Medulin. No mention of this was included in the reservation confirmation. When we knew its no problem.
It's right in the historic center of Pula. It's clean, comfortable and convenient. Good continental breakfast. The parking is a little funky, around back and over a curb. Vandals frequent the area on weekends.
Location is very favorable, near Marina.Rooms are clean, and good-sized for Europe. Desk personnel are quite cordial and helpful with directions, recommendations, arranging taxis, etc.The STAR is the restaurant. Best Meals ever in Europe! Having to depart.
The location is of hotel is very good: it's very close to the beach and not very far from Pula. We also liked city of Pula, so when we wanted something different from just beach and nature we could go to the city and spend some time there sightseeing or having dinner. The rooms are not very comfortable for travelling with small kids. Also in September it was a little bit cold sometimes.
The views over the sea, closeness of sea and bathing area plus terrific sunsets viewed from balcony. Set in national park, walks thru' the woods very tranquil. Easy and regular bus service to Pula. Price of food and drink very reasonable both on and off complex. Virtually everything closed; 10 - 15 minute walk to reception. It is a huge site, pretty empty save German / Austrian students, and for us oldies rather too undulating
Honestly not a great deal! Staff were rude and not helpful at all.
location to the beach
Very quite, peaceful and restful when we went in early October, weather still warm enough to swim in sea and almost empty so had the place almost to ourselves, Villas much nicer than punta verudela resort and worth paying extra for sea view. Although we enjoyed the peace and quiet of visiting at this time of year, only a couple of places to eat still open in resort and supermarket very understocked so had to go further afield for provisions and few of the sports facilities were open and couldn't find anywhere open to rent cycles. But maybe a price worth paying for having a beach and pools almost to ourselves so not a complaint really
The location is excellent and is ideal for both families and couples The room was never cleaned you were expected to do this themsleves even though towels and bedding was changed regularly. The staff on recpetion speak very little english and are not able to help very much
The apartment was very nice, very clean and modern with modern furniture, kitchen equipment and facilities (ie 3 ring hob, family size fridge, tv, hairdryer). Even our special requests were met, ie first floor apartment with a sea view. On the whole the resort complex of Verudela is well laid out, with a selection of apartments and hotels all spread out amongst the woodland off a peninsular just outside Pula. Unfortunately, the area immediately surrounding Punta Verudela apartments lets the whole place down. The apartments themselves look like a prison camp and look very run down, I would have cried if we had been staying there. And the walkways that link them are in need of some upkeep as the weeds are coming up through the paving. It's better to stay in the Verudela Beach and Villa Apartments, which are just 5 mins walk away around the peninsular, but are set in gorgeous woodland. They are slightly more expensive but definitely worth the extra. We were also disappointed with he on-site supermarket, which always seemed to have a low stock of bread and poor quality fresh fruit and veg, not to mention that it was very expensive compared with supermarkets in Pula itself, just a 20 min bus ride away. We still used it to buy fresh milk etc, but did our main shop in Pula instead. The weather, but who can guarantee that. It rained for 4 out of 7 days we were there and there wasn't much to do to entertain our 19month old daughter, other than go for a wet walk around the complex or stay in the apartment. The children's playground was lacking in facilities, ie a couple of rundown swings and no slide and unfortunately the aquarium was closed whilst we were there (at the end of May).
the rooms were very clean and spacious. there is a long walk from the reception to the apartment and with our luggage, we found this very tiring and confusing. there was endless amounts of things to do in the resort and a great selections of bars and restaurants in a ten minute walking distance. it is an ideal location for families and those lloking for a relaxing break.
the snorkeling was great we even saw dolphins one evening
Very good restaurant. Nice courteous staff. Very modern architecture. Some parking in the back. Beach nearby. Outside of the core area -- $20 cab ride to downtown. Two single beds in the room, rather than one double. Difficulty adjusting the air conditioning.
Beautiful hotel built in 1967. Art work and books everywhere. The design and finish work was very interesting and well though out,Excellent breakfast. Decent restaurant.Outstanding staff.Free, off the street parking in back The air conditioning was pretty much ineffectual. The staff did supply us with a fan the second night. Don't recommend in hot weatherThree stories and no elevator (we are seniors)A bit distant from town, 30 minutes walking. There is a bus line close by.
Modern spacious room. Beautifully designed boutique hotel. Owners were warm and gracious. Complimentary coffee and wine when we arrived. Located near large yacht club. Enjoyed a leisurely walk and drank in the scenery. Definitely worth the money!
