Pros: The people were nice and the room was clean and quiet
Cons: The room was a bit small and there was a strange contraption on the sink tap that caused the water to spray out of the sink
Pros: Very friendly staff. Nice village cafe, good food.
Pros: The staff were just wonderful and did so much to help us on a very wet day. Nice food, cozy bar.
Pros: Staff were fantastic, bar/restaurant was very relaxing and delicious food
Pros: The staff were lovely. Nice dinner. Great lication for walking holiday. Small rooms but very clean
Pros: Events is very much a working town. There would be absolutely no reason to go there let alone stay unless like us you were on a through trekking trip like us. However although I've not given the hotel much of a positive review (the shower fell off the wall) it's just ok if you're passing through.
Cons: More or less everything. Can't for the life of me understand the comments left by the last reviewer.
Pros: Such friendly warm staff. Has a restaurant and bar that serves good value food. It's family run and traditional and very welcoming. Its spot on for the GR7 or Coast-to-coast walking routes so the location could not be better.
Cons: All good. The room was basic but adequate.
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff but very limited English. The rooms are in the same building as the bar and restaurant so I had lunch, dinner and breakfast without having to go out. Tasty free tapas were provided with each drink. I needed to relax after a long walk to the property and it was most suitable for that purpose. It was also good value.
Cons: When I first checked in there was no heater in the room although I did get one later from the chamber maid. There was no hot water at first but after I mentioned that to the chamber maid I was able to get hot water. I wasn't given an internet password but when I asked at the bar the landlord put the password into my phone. I could then get internet in the bar but not in my room.
Pros: Very nice staff. Room was tidy and clean. Food in the cafe-restaurant - very delicious. Worth it’s price even more.
Cons: It was windy and doors were clattering little bit.
2 bedroom cottage built in the Andalucian style, surrounded by lush gardens and all with individual terraces and BBQs. The "soft" water swimming pool is securely fenced and 12 x 6m with depths from half to 2m. The many sports activities (including Mini Golf) for children make it an ideal family location. Wood burning stoves and reverse cycle air-conditioning make for comfortable all year round occupation. For those times when you prefer not to cook you can enjoy the professionally cooked food in our restaurant, or simply a drink with tapas on the terrace. A children's menu is of course available. The village of Periana, 1.5km away has all the usual facilities and a drive of 25 minutes will get you to the sea. There are many splendid walks and cycle rides to be made. We have good mobile phone signals and free Wi fi access is provided on the restaurant terrace and around all cottages. Special facilities for families with small children see website.
Pros: The beautiful view of the lake and countryside with the med in the distance from our terrace; a relaxing, cosy place. We particularly loved having a log fire. Perfect for our dog, too.
Cons: Hard to think of anything we didn't like.
Pros: We liked everything. Lovely helpful and welcoming staff. Excellent detailed instructions and nice touches like provision of coffee, oil, vinegar etc - very handy if you arrive late on a Sunday evening as we did. Spacious and well appointed accommodation and grounds. Perfect for older visitors or families with younger children.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like but you should be aware that the site is a bit "off the beaten track" - perfect for relaxation and as a base for sightseeing expeditions but not within walking distance of exciting night-life.
