The seaview from the room
The position is fantastic and the views are superb! The cafeteria is very good for breakfast, etc. The decor is dated now and could really do with a complete revamp. The fridge/minibar is noisy and had to be turned off each night for sleep. There was a lot of transmitted noise, but this is the constrution method of the building; and the doors do not kill any sound from the tappy wood floors in the corridor. Previously there was carpet which did help. BUt all in all it was fine!
the tranquility. the bathroom, very small.
Everything was ok. I like this hotel.
Good location, pleasant staff, pleasant dining/breakfast/cafetaria, good gym and pool, excellent value for money No
Very quiet, room facing the sea which was very well cleaned every day, we were able to get something to eat at any time and were always served by friendly efficient staff. All in all, an excellent hotel.
Location, fitness club
The friendly helpful staff
The hotel is ideally placed for anyone visiting Santa Cristina and feels right at the centre of things. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel car park is a bit tight!
Very friendly family-run hotel
From the description I expected the hotel to be quiet and on the beach. It turned out to be very noisy, our room was over the patio and was very smokey with the window open. The 'sea' was a tidal river. Didn't like the area or position of the hotel. Although our room overlooked the tidal river it was very noisy and cigarette smoke came in the bedroom window at night. Couldn't wait to leave.
Beach ;) Hotel is not so big, has nice rooms and great bathrooms, in 5 minutes walk you will find a lot of nice coffe bars and restaurants.
sight seeing too many crowds
Beatiful area and views, really relaxing, I do recommend the fish menu it is superb. Be aware of the distance from restaurants and city center, it takes one hour to walk. They have no swimming pool
Setting, space inside rooms, confort, breakfast Cleanliness
a very pleasant hotel
There is a small beach nearby, the Hercules tower is also close by. Just stepping out the door the view is beautiful, there is a beach promenade which leads to the tower. Public transport also near to the hotel.
Good size room Long way from city centre
Perfectly situated near the coast line with splendid, romantic seeview. Car parking place available. Nice cuisine. Friendly and competent personal, for example - Mr. Macario Vega from the restaurant staff. Couldn't remember drawbacks.
Its position virtually on the cliffs with easy walkable access along the coast onto the promenade into the middle of town. Also due delayed flight we were late arriving but were still able to order a meal in the restaurant at 10.45 pm Nothing.
location,service,cleanliness and comfort
position and sea walks in ythe morning and evening. Would prefer parking in the hotel grounds.
The best place to stay while at La Coruña, price and excellent location, superb rooms, and the view: out of this world
Attended a wedding, site seeing Almost too quiet & functional. Bit of a Tardis !
The Hotel itself Cold Breakfasts . The location of the hotel was very poor indeed.
Free use of computer with internet and printer. Easy accessibility with vehicle. Restaurant convenience and value for money. Very spacious, feel at ease and free to move about! A waste to throw away half- used gel and shampoo since they were hygienically contained in a plastic bottle!!Without compromising cleanliness and hygiene, there should not be unnecessary wastage as a policy!
Price It was not very busy and soulless. Awaay from old town and coast
It was perfectly located for my purpose (golf at the RCG La Coruna), and it was a good hotel at a good price. May need to improve the Internet signal.
Love it!!! The room was great , the restaurante was very good! Love it
Modern, clean and well located. Rooms were well fitted and reasonably spacious. The single Restuarant staff member for the evening meal was inadequate, appeared poorly trained and ill mannered. Given the price of the menu, this was most unacceptable.
very nice and relaxed area it would have been great if there had have been tea and/or coffee making facilities
Modern hotel with good rates. Parking and breakfast discounted for our stay. Nice meal in the restaurant in the evening with staff that took pride in their job. Close to trendy bars. Bar wasn't open until 8pm....
We visited Attica 21 because we were attending the Sonar Music Festival. Attica 21 is very close to the festival venue (5 minutes walk) and was very convenient. If you are going into Coruna centre, there is a good bus service which runs past the hotel, or alternatively a taxi about 6 Euro. The hotel has good facilities, and was very clean. It was also very quiet, and we got the impression that it is normally used by business travellers.
Cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff Not applicable
The leaking toilet.
comfortable room and bathroom no swimming pool
Clean and comfortable Noisy air con from adjacent shopping centre
The service, the location, and the facilities for the price are excelent. Nothing realy bad to say about. Just that when we returned from breakfast the cleaning lady was already in the room even before we checked out.
it's location, bathroom and brealfast
The value for money was unbeatable. Taxis were very cheap, so we could access the city easily. The internet was very expensive and the connection frustratingly slow.
Reception - very helpful. Easy to arrive and deprt city to/from this hotel by own car. Cost of 24hr parking nearby (i.e. no dedicated hotel parking). (We were lucky to get free street parking on Sat Night/Sun Morning - otherwise you have to pay quite a bit at nearby store parking lots).
The ocean view is wonderful. The room could have been cleaner. The restaurant food is mediocre: which is strange because food is great all over Galicia.
Location. View from room. Secure parking. Apparently the rate quoted by booking.com for our sea view room should have been per person not per room but the hotel honoured our quote without fuss.
Good location, helpful staff, clean rooms.
Friendly staff! Nice View!
the view is obviously the best thing we stayed twice a week apart. on the first occasion the room and bathroom were shabby but made up for by the view
Location was excellent and the staff were fantastic! Would be more than happy to return the next time that I am staying in La Coruna:-) The hotel could definitely do with an ironing room; or place irons and ironing boards in the bedrooms; or alternatively make them available through reception. The hotel did offer an ironing service but I would expect the option of being able to do my own ironing in any hotel. A tea and coffee making option would also be a good idea for the rooms!
I found the room noisy with the people on the floor above us.
an excellent hotel in a very good position.staff helpful and food good.
Beautiful and comfortable
A gorgeous hotel. Really liked the champagne on arrival in the lobby after a tiring journey. A nice touch.very classy spot.
View over the harbour; great facilities for swimming, exercise carpet is worn; although labeled non-smoking room smelled of smoke; first room was very small, but after asking we were able to change to a better room
The Hotel was easy to find and the room was well appointed. We were there for just one night but managed to take odvantage of its position to walk into A Corunna and see some of it.
Location and facilities We were on a smoking floor
The location of the hotel is just great - close walking distance to the old town and all its lovely restaurants but also a very close tram terminus from which to explore all the sights. Liked the outdoor pools a lot! I think for this standard of hotel there should be tea and coffee making facilities in the room
Hotel 100 % OK once passed the elevator : the entrance-hall is somewhat obsolete and doesn't let presume you arrived at a high quality hotel.
the room was spacious enough, clean and quite. I enjoyed a lot the bathtub with hydromassage. the access to the sport facilities nearby (swimming pools) is free for hotelguests. the breakfast has international niveau Poor parking facilities available.
excellent rooms, we stayed in a junior suite and it was brilliant for our needs (with a baby), everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel was present
Fabulous view of port from room. Very comfortable room and great location.
We liked everything, although we were in a junior suite so our room probably wasn't typical. It's location is first class; close to the old town but overlooking the sea. The staff were excellent, very professional and charming.
Fantastic breakfast! Carpet in room was very worn...needs changing
The staff were very helpful, the room was very nice it was in a great location for all the local ammenities.
very helpful staff + beautuful new, modern, very quite room + very comfortabel bed + simply great atmosfer in the room + great position almost on the beach and in the city center .. absolutely worth of money you pay for this room ! We were satisfied with everything.
The reception staff were exceptionally helpful. Like all chain hotels it was standard and not much atmosphere. However it was central. 8 euros for parking is average.
central position for major sights, and proximity to beach, nicely furnished room difficulty of finding way through city centre and one ways
This hotel is well located and minutes from the beach. 5-10 mins from the old town and restuarants. We only stayed 1 night and our room was reasonably large, comfortable, clean and well decorated. Yes it is part of a chain so has an element of corporate hotel about it but the design is well thought out and the rate we had was good value for such a central location with good parking facilities
The staff at reception were extremely polite, fun and helpful. Air conditioning was not very effective; car park was difficult to negotiate with a long car
Excellent location - near to the beach and shops.
It's situated very central
There were three employees of the hotel that stood out and were very helpful. Victor, Iago and Rosa. They informed us on places to go, gave us excellent directions and were very accomodating.
Excellent location of hotel. Friendly check in staff.
Excellent location, especially during August time, when it is festival period. Clean comfortable rooms. No drawers in the rooms for storing clothes. No pool or balcony facilities, which would have been good.
The location and the simple but elegant environment
Quiet during the night No shuttle bus service to the airport
I like the hotel employes, specialy the people who clean the room for there simpathy and education. A must and an exemple for all hotels! The services included! They have video games at room (could be free...) with playstation. And if you forget the mobil charge don´t worry... the hotel have one for you! The room is a little small for a 4* but its very confortable.
Great location close to the town center for walkiNg and sightseeing
The location is excellent, the room was clean and well-appointed, and the desk staff was very helpful. Parking is not included and it is expensive. The "free cocktail" was not up to us; the bartender simply made us whatever he wanted to and then refused to allow us to bring it back to our room.
Good hotel, friendly staff, a bit overpriced Ordered room service for lunch, prompt, but food a bit poor
I like the location the hotel
The hotel is already showing its age. It is a disappointment specially if you have already experienced another NH Hotel. Needs to be refurbished in order to be at the normal level of a NH.
Sea view, size of bedroom, cleanliness. Position of toilet in bathroom in 701; lack of comfortable armchair, hard pillows, lack of safe in the room.
Very good location, good breakfast. Lack of free parking; Hotel parking expensive (€ 14,00 per night).
We had booked a double room only but were given Room 212 - a small suite with a sea view, so were very pleased with it! Great value for the amount we'd paid. We arrived at 11pm and left late next morning - but there were plenty of restaurants and bars very nearby and the walk around the sea front was great. It was a good choice for a night after a late arrival at the airport, before setting off on our vacation proper. We went back to the airport to pick up our hire car next day. Cost of taxi from airport around 16 Euros - only takes 10-15 minutes.
The hotel was very quiet and peaceful. The sea view was wonderful to wake up to. The lounges and other seating areas were very attractive. The staff were very friendly. The bed was very very comfortable. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been just perfect.
It´s in a desirable location direct to the beach Rooms are poorly soundproofed
Right on beach with great view. Close to eating and sightseeing area. Breakfast adequate but not exciting.
The view and location Breakfast
rooms, position of the hotel there is no place you can always find something to eat
Location, view, access to all things in the city. Good service, car parking available.
Excellent value for money. Great location: centric and close to the beach. Rooms have been recently renovated. Check-out process was a bit too slow. We had to wait 30 minutes to check-out.
Everything you need during the business trip for very reasonable money
price, good location, useful staff, restaurant, room
Confortable business hotel. Not very central for visiting A Coruña but very close to my clients!
Clean, comfortable, good breakfast, good value Hard to find, OK for us with Satnav and address, but would be difficult otherwise. No local restaurants, it is on an industrial estate.
Hotel good, friendly staff Unfortunatly very bad indicated, you have to chearch for hours
It was only one night. Professional.
The hotel facilities were very good and so was the location as is very central.
The room was spacious and clean and they had a good selection of food for breakfast which is a shame as it this hotel could have great potential if it provided the basic requirements for a business traveller in terms of WIFI in the Room, Iron and Restaurant at night. No WIFI in room. No LAN cables available to check internet, no Iron in hotel to iron clothes (apparently we have to pay an outside company to do this), the restuarant down stairs is permantly closed at night, they only have a cafe/bar area which is very cheap looking, so you have to go outside for dinner or eat in your room. Overpriced drinks and food. If I where the manager of this hotel I would be very concerned about the loss in business this is causing.
friendly and helpful staff. clean and comfortable room
Very friendly and helpful reception who took the time and trouble to find our 15 year old daughter a room next to ours.
Good sized, clean room with well-functioning air conditioning. Parking and access in general are far more difficult than they need to be. No place to leave a car while checking in. Even a taxi driver got stuck with the poor layout. Poor signage and indifferent staff.
Staff were superb. Service was excellent. Great value for money. Too far from centre of Coruna and this was not clear on the website when booking. Good taxi service and cheap enough too!
The service was good, and everything worked perfectly. A bit "clinical", in center of hard traffic area
3 min. by car from center of the town, very comfortable, internet is in good working order. Must pay for internet
Excellent staff, great restaurant, spacious rooms
In the add, it's wrotten it's central, I would not say that, you need a car or take taxis.
area around the hotel proved to be very good for cafe/bars. Bus to city centre was just down the road . Bus 1 euro, taxi about 5 to 7 euro.
Very nice hotel, confortable and with optimum price share
The hotel location is very good; the rooms are big. There is a problem with the hotel buiding concept: as the rooms windows are huge (which is nice), the rooms facing the sea, at the end of the afternoon - at least in the summer - get so much sunlight that the rooms temperature are intolerable and the air conditioning system can't solve the problem (we had to ask to change to another room facing the street). These room's bathrooms don't have air conditioning and, due to that, you just can't say longer than one minute there at the end of the afternoon, in the summer. The whole hotel cleanliness is sloppy, as you notice some small details in cleanliness which are intolerable. The breakfast (food and service) is, undoubtly a 3 star hotel breakfast.
It's a very quiet hotel, the surroundings are great, and very close to La Coruna central city. There are several beautiful beaches and even great mountains
amazing hotel, modern style, great sea view, good restaurant, excellent value for money paid. 1- no internet in rooms even though it advertises that wifi is possible in the entire hotel. not true, they only have it it the public area and, never had it in the rooms.2 - room is boiling hot, one wall is all glass and the sun hits on. heavy curtains and air con did help a bit, but still - very hot until sunset.we stayed there in late September, not so bad, but I can imagine what it's like in summer. That said - all the rest was fantastic.
Lovely quiet location overlooking beach, close to good bars and restaurants.Recently refurbished to a high standard.Short drive from airport. Pool not filled but was the end of May so perhaps too early in the season
The location close to the sea.
The location and view across the bay to A Corunna. A clean and modern hotel.
It's closing for refurbishment in the New Year and will then be 4 star, and more expensive !!!
the sea view is amazing, perfect romantic walkways near the beach, the rooms are well-design and feel fresh and clean. Sea view is obligatory, the front-faced rooms have half the chemistry.
Rooms were extremely comfortable and the views impressive.
Good location. The sea, restaurants and some shops are at walking distance. It takes a 5-minute drive to a proper beach. The room is contemporary decorated and very clean. Friendly staff, but no one speaks English, so be sure bring your dictionary.
It was ideal for our purpose. To see La Coruna and the countryside around Everything perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent value. Spacious, modern, clean rooms. Quiet. A lot of parking space.
Nice place to stay for the night. Rooms are big, clean and calm. Good quality for the price. Nothing much to do around though. Food is avoidable.
Spacious room and facilities Restaurant menu limited
We went to La Coruna and to the beach, you can walk to the beach.
The contemporary feel of the hotel. Very clean and staff very helpful. No room service after midnight. A complementary bottle of water in fridge for when guests arrive and a microwave in the kitchen would be handy.
Quiet area. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Generally good experience overall. We would have no problem recommending this hotel. Although the weather was not too hot we might have used airconditioning once or twice. However, the AC was not working.
Peaceful, out of town but within easy access, nice views of A Coruna Hotel Main door driveway!
Everything! The entire stay was amazing. The staff, the location, the rooms... everything was perfect. I can honestly say that it was one of my best experiences at a hotel.
Quiet location, good sized room, clean and comfortable
Clean and comfortable and well located near transport
price, location was good would not print a document for me, no curtains only net curtains?
I liked the convenience to the bus and train stations. I did not like breakfast was not unitl 7:35am the morning we were leaving. The receptonist was not welcoming and friendly and did not go the extra mile in customer service. It seemed when asled a question it was an inconvenience rather than take ownership and help me out. I asked him if he could call my friend in his room and he said "no".
Convenient & fuss free N/A
the staff were very friendly, hotel well situated and affordable
The best thing about this hotel was the meal of the day, very good value for money Quite a walk to the car park especially if you have a walking disability
Helpful staff, very comfortable sleep! Very close to train station; within walking distance. Hotel offers reasonably priced parking though isn't necessary as free parking in the area relatively easy to find. For our one night stay, no problems at all.
The bad was very confortable and the room very clean the hotel has no balcony, so i cant recomand it to smokers.
very friendly staff our room faced the major street, difficult to sleep with cars going by, it also faced the large 'hotel avenida' sign that is lit up at night, the windows had sheer filthy curtains on them. They just need some nicer light blocking curtains and bedspreads on the beds instead of just blankets and it would make a big difference in appearance.
The staff were very helpful The noise of th traffic was very loud at night .
The location of this hotel is very close to the airport.
The warm welcome I received It is quite a long way out of the centre but then it is very close to the airport.
The hotel has a good location overlooking the Ria. It is very close to the airport, but it not disrupted by airport movements. It offers good safe and secure parking and the centre of A Coruna is a few minutes drive, and easily reached by local buses.
Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful at the desk and in the restaurant. Would recommend it to everyone. no
Good value for the money, great location. Room smelled kind of smokey (as in cigarettes). Also, our room faced looked directly into three other rooms, meaning that we could see anything and everything going on in these rooms if you had the blinds open, which you needed to have open in order to air out the smokey room.
