Pros: Everything. The owner, location, building, decor, breakfast, garden and the homely feel of the experience are simply wonderful and relaxing. It just oozes quality and thoughtfulness. You really need to stay here, if there are vacancies ; )
Cons: That I couldn't stay another night because it was full : (
Pros: Nice breakfast, nice, clean, beatiful coutry house, very warming welcoming from Philippe.we had perfect stay although very short(only one night).we'll return for sure
Cons: Everything was pefect!
Pros: Everything - great breakfast and host
Pros: Very nice place and a frendly host.
Pros: A very nice place to stay, great value for money and Phillipe was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Everything great.
Pros: This was a wonderful B&B! The location outside Soissons was perfect for us. We had a car and all the sites of interest to us i.e. Gothic and Romanesque cathedrals and churches, and WWI battle sites etc. were within easy driving range. In addition, there were numerous walking trails in this area. The setting of this moulin was lovely.. our host had a horse and two lambs grazing for us to view out our window. The room we had was spacious; the breakfast superb. The main high point among all these positives was the helpfulness and friendliness of our host Philippe. He spoke excellent English too which was a definite plus. We stayed one week....we highly recommend it!!
Cons: Nothing negative!
Pros: The Owner kindly stayed up late for me to check in, I couldn't arrived until 11pm.
Pros: Philipe is a terrific host, friendly with a god sense of humour. The location is very quiet and the breakfast was superb. We walked to the next village via the farmers fields and the Forrest - very relaxing and enjoyable.
Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like.

Pros: This was an excellent property and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and to top it off breakfast was also very good
Pros: Super godt b&b . Great hosts
Pros: The host, house, and location were tres magnifique! Very accommodating staff makes for a fairytale stay
Cons: Nothing negative to report
Pros: The history meeting modern touches. We were in Pascals and Pierre’s Home and were made to feel very welcome. Thank you x
Cons: Boyfriends only complaint, no TV in the room for football. Yawn
Pros: This place was such an unexpected treat, a really beautiful house and a privilege to stay there.
Cons: A TV would have been useful.
Pros: A beatiful house with a truly amazing view and very helpful and kind landlords. We stayed in the Antique room, which was bigger than it looked on pictures and very comfortable. Breakfast was French (mostly sweet) and delicious. A great base for discovering Picardy and a short drive to the Champagne region.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful owner. A clever and attractive conversion of an outbuilding of the owner’s grand house in the centre of a very pretty village
Pros: Very friendly and knowledgeable hosts and lovely delicious breakfast.
Pros: The village is quite charming, with a very impressive château. The swimming pool was very welcome as were the beers. We slept extremely well and received a fantastic breakfast, with many local and home-made items, beautifully presented in a lovely characterful space. We were also given very helpful suggestions as to where to dine...
Pros: Great location & hospitality. The host went out of her way to be helpful and welcoming
Pros: Beautiful setting, very relaxed, breakfast was fantastic - perfect with the dog
Pros: Lovely place with a great pool and gardens. The room was excellent and breakfast was fantastic. We were made to feel really welcome and would love to visit again.
Pros: Beautiful location and a lovely host!
Pros: The owners were away but Cecile made us very welcome - her English is better than our French! The bed was comfy and the breakfast was excellent - great bread and croissants with yoghurt, juice, ham and cheese.
Cons: A minor quibble was that some of the room facilities looked great (eg the basin ) and were very stylish but were less practical to use.
Pros: Location, cleanliness, ambiance!
Cons: Didn’t stay long enough.
Pros: The welcome from the owner was lovely. She was very accommodating for breakfast and laid on a very good breakfast. We also made use of the swimming pool after a long drive.

Compiègne is 34 km from La chambre au Château, while Laon is 45 km from the property. The nearest airport is Paris - Charles de Gaulle Airport, 82 km from the bed and breakfast.
Pros: Stunning premises and decor. Fascinating history.
Cons: Less bread / bakery eg fruit for breakfast.
Pros: We liked the owners. We liked the bathroom even though it wasn’t en-suite. The bedroom was a lovely room with triple aspect and a stone balcony with 2 chairs & table. The bed was very comfy.
Cons: However, the bedroom only had one bedside table & one lamp, so two people could not read in bed. Other than this one lamp there was an overhead chandelier that switched off at the door. There was no TV.
Pros: A beautiful little chateau with period furniture in a peaceful location with secure parking.
Cons: Impossible wifi code meant that we could not get logged on and the owner could not help with this process any further than pointing at the 20 odd character login password. Why does a remote property like this need a complicated wifi code? The wifi is needed as there is limited reception at the property due to its remote location.
Pros: A charming place to stay, with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom (private, though it is across the hall) and a beautiful old home. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of special breads - and excellent orange juice. The hosts were warm and welcoming, even with our very poor French! The garden and grounds were lovely - adjacent to an old castle.
Cons: We were unable to access the wi-fi.
Pros: The location, the lovely hosts, the room, and the castle about 50 feet from the house.
Cons: It would be nice to have an en suite bathroom.
Pros: Wonderful hosts and a peaceful location, rich in history. There was some work going on to restore more guest rooms, not a big deal though, we were very comfortable. I expect room rates will soon rise once word gets out about this wonderful retreat.
Pros: We took a 2 bedroom suite with a shared bathroom between the two, The bathroom was amazing - 5 star quality, Beds and linen impeccable and all rooms beautifully appointed with lovely extra touches. We placed a last minute booking and the welcome and care of the host and hostess made us feel welcome and at home, Exceptional experience and wish we could have spent longer in this lovely chateau with such warm and welcoming host's, Highly recommended and astoundingly good value, We will be back!
Pros: Beautiful property, peaceful surroundings, welcoming owners, fabulous bathroom, great pool, comfy beds.
Pros: Great French Breakfast, wonderful location, peace, quiet and a sense of history, Made very welcome.
Pros: A lovely house in the grounds of an old manor on the far outskirts of the village - keep going uphill and it's on your right. The B&B is run by an elderly couple, who were charming, friendly, and interesting, and Madame was happy to book a restaurant for us in nearby Soissons. She spoke French clearly and fairly slowly, which was a great help for conversation, though she did have a little English. We stayed in early November and the house was comfortably warm. Our room and bed were comfortable, and bathrobes were provided. The shower-room for our room was across the corridor, but the shower was powerful and there was plenty of hot water - once I had worked out how to get water out of the hand-held part of the shower! Unfortunately I was suddenly drenched while fiddling with the controls, ending up having to wash my hair as well, which had not been my plan! Instructions would be helpful! The towels were big and soft, which is always good. Breakfast was copious: freshly squeezed orange juice, good coffee, warm flakey croissants, all delicious, plus many different breads and jams, cheeses and meats. It should be noted that electric points were 'old French', which could possibly be a problem if you have mobile devices which need recharging.
Cons: Would have preferred en-suite facilities, but this is a unique property which doesn't lend itself to such, and the fittings are certainly modern.
The Best Western Plus Hotel des Francs is located in Soissons, 90km from Paris, front of the Abbey of Saint-Jean des Vignes. The hotel is a "HQE" building, which offers great comfort, a lot of natural light, with a low carbon footprint. The 70 rooms are comfortable, spacious, decorated with natural colors and equipped with Pay TV, Wireless internet connection, telephone, and for some mini-bar.
Pros: The rThe room was comfortable but very warm
Cons: The restaurant was closed, which was not clearly indicated when we booked. The corridors had a lot of dust and fine debris on the carpets, making it look cheap. When we told staff about this they were totally dismissive
Cons: Room was so hot! Aircon nix, fan just couldn’t do much, window open, very noisy local groups on parking lot
Pros: The rooms are clean and modern. Bathroom/shower is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good parking in an underground garage.
Cons: Breakfast was an adventure. Several people were waiting for eggs to be brought from the kitchen- only to discover they were cold when they arrived. Also, while A/C is not always needed in Picardy, if you are planning to stay in summer, be sure to ask for an A/C room- not all the rooms have A/C.
Pros: Location was good, otherwise there was very little else
Cons: Breakfast: poor quality products eg cooked meats, cheeses..the self serve area was dirty as were tables left uncleared..the hot food was extremely unappealing..eggs and bacon had been on display for sometime..dried out and little available..poor value
Pros: All super duper new and clean. Good parking. Rooms with character
Pros: A sweet hotel in a lovely town. The staff was welcoming, the food lovely, the rooms and lobby and everything we saw were clean, modern, and very comfortable.
Pros: Breakfast was excellent; room facilities also fine, although having a separate toilet requires a separate basin in it.
Cons: It is NOT acceptable to advertise a 7/7 restaurant, and then announce at check-in that the restaurant is closed. In the event we found an excellent alternative, but that is not the point! We could and should have been warned in advance. In fairness the woman who checked us certainly understood.
Pros: Indoor pool
Cons: Aircon was not working at the moment of my stay. Room 216.
Pros: Excellent location and very comfortable room. Dining was good and staff helpful. Pool and hammam a treat after a day cycling.
Cons: Same menu at lunch and dinner.

Wi-Fi is provided at the reception and in the breakfast room, and a computer is available. The rooms at Hotel le Rallye feature a flat-screen TV. Some of the rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and toilet, while others feature a shared bathroom on the landing. The continental breakfast is served daily and includes bread, marmalade, butter, fruit juices, croissants and hot beverages. Restaurants can be found in Soissons near the hotel, and some do have partnership with the property. Hotel le Rallye is 1.5 km from Soissons Tran Station, and there is a swimming pool 2 km from the property. The Saint-Waast quarter is just a 5-minute walk away.
Pros: Very welcoming. Surprisingly quiet at night. Clean facilities. Laid back. They put our bicycles in a garage overnight - very helpful.
Pros: The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and quiet. The hotel is only 10 minutes on foot from the town centre and the various historic buildings.
Pros: The owners were lovely, friendly people who treated us well. They provided a free, covered, locked garage for our bicycles and the coffee at breakfast was the best I've had in France. It's clean, basic accommodation.
Pros: Room wasn't too small.
Cons: Woman who ran the place was ride, the only ride person I met during my five week holiday through Europe.

Pros: The staff were excellent in their care for my wife when she had an accident there
Cons: Nothing. Quite happy with the stay.
Pros: Comfortable room and bed. Supermarkets and fast food restaurants within walking distance. Friendly staff.
Pros: Free fruit and refreshments throughout the day
Cons: Didn’t show the women’s football on TV
Pros: Really friendly helpful staff. Larger than average rooms. Very comfortable. Flat secure parking
Cons: Nowhere to sit outside. Not as convenient to the city centre as it would lead one to believe
Pros: Comfy bed, air con and nice breakfast
Pros: Room clean and comfortable. Standard Ibis fare. Bar cheap. Plenty of parking. Better for an overnight while driving rather than a 3 day stay. The price wasn't as economical as I would have expected for a hotel of its caliber. I was doing a lot of day trips so it was easy to get on and off the highways.
Cons: It's located in what's basically a suburban truck stop. The highway runs right outside. No outdoor seating areas (a MUST in France!). No laundry nor gym. No balconies. You MUST have a car to stay here (I did).
Pros: Clean, nice, and new, great breakfast, easy parking.
Cons: Difficult to locate, lobby computer not very user friendly, comforter for bed is too hot. Would prefer sheets, blankets so I could use only as much as I need.
Pros: The cleanliness and friendliness
Cons: No it was all great
Pros: The staff were very pleasant and helpfulFunctional
Cons: Better arrangements for dinner
Pros: The hotel was super and the staff. New beds very comfy. Floor more hygienic than carpet. Room clean.
Cons: I did not like the area, it was very shabby and litter everywhere. It doesn’t give a good impression as you drive in.
Pros: The room was very nice for the price. The reception is open 24h so you can check-in late and get food or drinks. Being able to take food to your room was also nice.
Cons: The woman at the reception when I checked in didn't speak very much English. It made it awkward and difficult to order food. The air conditioning was a little loud, even if you turned it off. Some breakfast items were lukewarm when they should be cold. Like milk or water.
Located in Vauxbuin, Casa La Palma & La Courmellette Hammam et Sauna is on the boardwalk, a 5-minute drive from Abbaye de St-Jean-des-Vignes and 6 minutes from Musée de Soissons. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The owner was very thorough, and at first I was on guard. When I met him, all made sense. He's maintaining a family chateau and cares to be selective and observant about his guests. He has every right, and in only ensures a clean, undamaged place for others who wish to rent it. The place was sublime... Tons of space, character, charm, and style.
Cons: No issues at all. As an American, air conditioning is nice. But when you choose an old chateau, such amenities are not possible. I did leave him several fans as a parting gift, and the lower rooms stay nice and cool in the summer, because of the giant halls and ceilings.
Pros: Great night -time sky and lovely entertaining areas for a large family group
Pros: Incredible home, with everything that a family or large group requires. The Chateau is situated in a fantastic country setting with easy access to the Champagne region as well as the World War memorials and battle sites. I cannot recommend this spectacular home enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our host Antoine was a pleasure to deal with and extremely helpful.
Cons: We have nothing to complain about.
Set a 1-minute walk from the train station, Le Terminus is located in Soissons and offers hotel guestrooms with a flat-screen TV. Guests can play table football in the reception area and free public parking is possible nearby. The rooms at Le Terminus are individually decorated and are equipped with a wardrobe, a work desk and a private bathroom with a shower. Every morning a continental breakfast is served. Guests can enjoy traditional French cuisine in the on-site restaurant and relax with a drink at the bar.
Pros: I like the location but aside that it was horrible experience. They wont allow you to take your food to the room and they also wont keep it for safe keeping so we had to throw our pizza away.
Cons: So much mosquitoes, no air conditioning and the heat was terrible. The toilet had a bad stench coming from the vent and also the internet was horrible..keeps disconnecting. Very bad hotel indes
Pros: No answer ....
Cons: No answer
Cons: It is like a one star French hotel from the 1990s. Small and shabby room with a panel of unpainted plasterboard in the bathroom. 10 euros a day for Wifi is exorbitant especially as the Fasthotel brochure claims it is free! The area is not the nicest part of Soissons.
Pros: Building was very old and tired, and in desperate need of TLC
Cons: Room facilities and breakfast
Pros: Room was pleasant, food was good
Cons: Not having toilet in the room
With a stay at Premiere Classe Soissons in Soissons, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Abbaye de St-Jean-des-Vignes and Musée de Soissons. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, microwave in a common area, and a vending machine. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The room have good aspect, the bathroom was nice but smaller. The bed was very confort.
Cons: The room was very smaller, the secretary was very small, don´t have space for my computer is too tight. the bathroom is smaller, and i don´t like the service.
Pros: Clean, comfortable (firm) bed, easy check in outside hours.
Cons: A workers stay over. Seems rooms are shared between multiple workers. Smokers all round. Noisy metal stairs throughout evening and night. Luckily I’m a good sleeper but my wife isn’t.
Pros: Breakfast was basic but good value and tasty.
Cons: Front door seemed a little unsafe. it opened directly onto the front and felt slightly vulnerable
Cons: We didn't have a toilet roll when we arrived at 9pm and nobody to ask. So emailed but home now and still no response. The stairs outside of the room smelled of urine.
Pros: Guy on reception was very nice and deserves to work somewhere better.
Cons: Lots of rows of tiny box rooms that stink and are sticky . Very close to a busy road so VERY noisy .
Pros: Beds were made up
Cons: No toilet in room. Heating pipes red hot run througg the room even tho the radiators off and in 34° is horrid. Hard beds, extra to have wifi. On the main road so noisy .opposite the main train station so lots of loud people. Very hard to park near motel. Tiny room
Pros: Breakfast was good
Cons: I'm very disappointed with the bedroom which was not clean.
Pros: Having en suite shower and toilet.
Cons: State of bathroom - cigarette burns and stains all over handbasin. First room we were shown was very smoky.
Pros: This is a very basic, budget hotel and ideal if you just want a very cheap overnighter to break a journey, with a functional en-suite, but it's not suitable as a 'base'. There is a good restaurant opposite, but the hotel is located on a light industrial estate and with access to the rooms via external corridors it was quite noisy and also cigarette smoke can drift into the window. (These have anti-mosquito mesh on them, which is excellent.) The mattress was very comfortable, but the room is small and very basic. TOP TIP: take a travel kettle - there are no facilities to make drinks in the room, although there is a coffee machine in reception charging 1 euro a cup. In short, 'Premiere Class' doesn't translate too well - 'First Class', it ain't!
Cons: As above - it is what it is
Pros: Easy parking, plenty of space. Easy check in, in the machine. Clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Easy access to internet. All you might want when you are stopping for one night on your road trip! :D Thanks

Pros: The evening dinner was acceptable
Cons: The accommodation is in a serious need of a complete overhaul. Linen was clean but overall cleanliness was poor with stains on curtains and lamp shades and dirt behind doors and on floor. Lack of language skills made it difficult to make a complaint.
Pros: liked location, clean rooms and friendly staff
Pros: perfect location for road access food etc
Cons: evening check in man smelt of alcohol and wasn't very helpful. room was a little unclean and bedding was ripped. have stayed in other campernile which have been great.
Pros: The staff was OK, supported me with a few requests
Cons: The hotel is very old, the room have not be renovated for ages Not so comfortable Limited services Not well located (this I knew), not well indicated
Pros: The room are very spacious, and very confort, the bed is very confortable, i rest very well. The food is excelent.
Cons: some room the eating don´t work.
Pros: The staff were friendly and very helpful
Pros: I always try to use campaniles when traveling alone. The staff were fine.
Cons: The standards of the room and visitors has deciined.
Pros: Convenience and price
Cons: The restaurant was closed to accommodate a large visiting group of cyclists so that, after a long drive, we were obliged to get back in the car and find somewhere to eat. We could have been informed of this via Booking.com and have made other arrangements.
Pros: Convenient stop, not too far from the town centre
Cons: Needed refurbishing. Pillows lumpy. Air con noisy.
Pros: Spaciiusvroom with tea making but rooms very old and tired and stained toilet pan. Restaurant buffet ok but cooked food poor
Cons: Over cooked chips Stained bathroom suite
