10.0 Excellent
Pros: We traveled for 24 days across Italy and stayed in B&B, apartments and hotels. Marta's house is by far the best for comfort, location and service that we had in Italy. Marta was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. And Nancy prepared the best breakfast, with eggs, fresh coffee and homemade fig pie. Thanks for a great stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was in Italy for University travel for almost three weeks. I traveled to Milan, Rome, Isernia, and Sulmona. This B and B was the best place that I stayed during my trip. Marta (owner) and her staff were warm, helpful, and charming. The location and history of the building made staying here a memorable experience. Breakfast included a multitude of choices and Nancy made excellent coffee and eggs. I will be returning to the area for work and will stay here again. Also, Sulmona and the Abruzzo area are a beautiful part of Italy with gorgeous forests, towns, art, and warm people. Recommended without hesitation. I wanted to stay an extra night but the B and B was fully booked and deservedly so.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality of Marta and her caring attitude. The place is designed and furnished with a lot of attention to the dstails. The location is right in the middle of the old city.
Cons: Parking
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is in a great location for exploring both Sulmona and the hilltop towns. The breakfast room, on the top floor, offers the most amazing views of the surrounding countryside. And don’t miss the huge markets twice a week. Marta is an absolutely beautiful hostess and could not do enough to make our stay a pleasure.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the 6th trip to Italy for my wife and I, always to different regions and cities. We loved the setting of Sulmona in the mountains, and made day drives (rented car) to other nearby small towns. We enjoyed a 3 night stay. Our hostess Marta was exceptional, very friendly, hard working and attentive. She met us on the beautiful roof-top each morning for breakfast. Breakfast was always pleasant with assorted fresh fruits, pastries and made-to-order eggs. We enjoyed excellent weather, so the roof top was a real treat. The views of the city and surrounding mountains were an awesome start to each day. The room was comfortable, quiet and spotless. The location is a flat and easy approximately 150 yard walk from the main street of town. There are plenty of nice restaurants, gelato shops and stores. The town has an open air market a few times a week. We lucked out with parking, and were able to find spots within 100ft of our door. (Not always possible) It was a great choice for our needs. It was a 10.
Cons: It was all good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: - Host very friendly and helpful - Superb breakfast, a real treat with fresh prepared products - Rooftop terrace - Location in old town
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marta is a kind, generous, informative and humorous hostess. The b&b is absolutely beautiful from the interior courtyard to the beautifully decorated rooms to the breathtaking rooftop. The location is perfect to stroll the old town or to use as a base to explore the beauties of Abruzzo. Our absolute favorite, do not deprive yourself of the experience of staying here!
Cons: There was absolutely nothing to not like
B&B Sei Stelle - Sulmona - Building

A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and limited parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: David was very accommodating and helpful. He arranged a driver to take us to Alba Fucens one day and walked us to a restaurant the day we arrived because most were closed for the afternoon. The place was immaculate and quite unique with the ancient viaduct running through it. We had a room with a view of the piazza and the viaduct. The room was large and the B & B was convenient to walking all the main avenues of Sulmona. It was a perfect location and even had a rooftop deck you had access to day and night. We met a few other travelers on the deck and had interesting conversations with them. Breakfast was pastries, fruit, and yogurt. You could have your coffee and cappuccinos made to order. Sulmona is a wonderful jumping off place to go to Pacentro, a short 20 minute bus drive away. The whole area was magical. The restaurants were great, however, they stop serving in the afternoon for siesta and don't open back up until 7:30, that was inconvenient at times. The whole surrounding area was safe and we walked the streets at night and felt perfectly safe. When the windows were shut it was quiet.
Cons: The beds were hard and we had twin beds and they were small. There was no where to put toiletries in the bathroom which was minor but an inconvenience. The room was cold and the heat was only turned on occasionally but I would stay here again in a heart beat. The heating issue had more to do with the season we were there at. It was changing over in the fall and not quite cold yet outside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My sister and I had a great visit to Sulmona and really enjoyed staying at B&B Sei Stelle! Davide was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Communication with him was super easy and he helped us find parking upon arrival. Sulmona is a really cute little town located in a beautiful part of Italy. The B&B is very conveniently located on the edge of the town making it easy for parking without the need to drive through the town center and yet within just a 2 minute walk from the heart of the town. The room and facilities in the B&B had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Breakfast was good and Davide even made it early for us since we had an early departure planned. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others!
Cons: I have no complaints about our stay at B&B Sei Stelle - everything was great.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great and in an area where there isn't much English spoken it was lovely to have a host who understood. Such an amazing view from our room ( which also had a fab bathroom), but best of all was the terrace. We visited the hermitage (so peaceful) and the confetti museum (not that exciting) but a drive out to Pacentro and beyond was wonderful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: David’s was a great host. He met us personally when our GPS failed. He gave us roses and candy to help celebrate our anniversary. Parking was cheap and close. Centrally located in town with lots of dining options.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a gem! The location is perfect! We sat on the deck every morning and evening which overlooked the main square and mountains. It was breathtaking! David made you feel so welcomed from the moment you arrived! We truly felt like family! He gave us helpful suggestions each day and he went out of his way to help us. I would come back here every year!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host went out of his way to ensure that everything was taken care of for us including escorting us to the property when we could not find it initially.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners are very helpful and caring. They provide huge quantity of breakfast which I never ended up completing. They fill up fruits and drinks in the room. Very neat room and nicely maintained. Highly recommend the place for people visiting Avezzano.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Newly renovated house to a very high standard. En-suite wet room. It started to rain just as I left the B&B to walk to the town centre. The proprietor ran after me and her husband gave me lift to l’Osteria which is an excellent restaurant in Via Garibaldi.
Cons: Quite a long walk to the town centre.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The outside is nothing special, just a small city with typical Italian scenery. Once inside you are blown away at how well everything is done. Completely updated. Beautiful room and bathroom. They include so many extras and the facilities are far beyond what we expected. The husband and wife team that run this place are absolutely amazing. I cant say enough about how much this exceeded our expectations.
Cons: I cannot think of one thing that we would have changed about this place. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Relais Marlene is a wonderful small Bed and Breakfast, run by a very sweet and caring Italian couple. They pay attention to the details and make everything possible to make you feel at home. We were offered complimentary fruits, juices and even alcoholic drinks from the room minibar, the breakfast was very rich with both sweet and savory fresh products, bread, honey, jam, juice, milk...everything served in the room. Both my colleague and me we had our rooms upgraded without even asking for it, and I ended up in a very luxurious room with an amazing bathroom and bathtub. It was the second time I visited the place and I highly recommend it.
Cons: There was nothing I did not like.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were clean Good breakfast
Cons: Pillows too gummy Noise from near road car traffic All the rest was fine

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent as it was close to shops and family. Parking available in front of location which is great. Rooms are extremely clean.
Cons: My only complaint is that the location is busy so it is noisy; however, this it not the fault of the hosts. The breakfast was huge. The hosts should consider a list of menu items so that guests can choose menu items and avoid the waste of food that it not eaten.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owners. Great extras like drinks and fruit.
Cons: Nothing negative, everything top
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I stayed in several places while traveling in Italy for two weeks. Relais Marlene was absolutely the best accommodations we experienced for this price point. The accommodations were all new and beautiful. The bed was comfortable. The shower was spacious. We felt pampered from beginning to end. We were greeted with cappucinos and pastries and the room was stocked with lots of snacks and goodies. The decor was modern and elegant, very nicely done with nice touches. The breakfast was delicious. She even gave us a little gift as we left. We would recommend this establishment to everyone. Thank you to Marlene, her husband and her sister. Ciao!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing homemade sweets offered by the hosts, very friendly enviroment.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wow!!! What else can be said. Beautiful, ground floor room is great, but the second floor one is amazing!!! Basically a full apartment beautifully furnished and very comfortable. What about breakfast: four, I say four different cakes to start with... simply wonderful. An experience!!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were lovely. The breakfast was home made cakes which were lovely(I ate too many) The room was spacious and very clean. A nice quiet location with easy reach of Alba Fucens &Tagliocozzo Definately recommend.
Cons: Nothing!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The house and the rooms (we lived on the ground floor), the courtyard. Of course, the owners - Paola and Domenico, who were very 'informally' good and did their best to make our stay unforgettable. The close environment (monte Velino, Alba Fucens with its archeological site).
Cons: Couldn't find that. Just the weather could have been better ))) (it was September, with often unpredictable rains).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very tasty homemade breakfast, with cakes and biscuits made by the host Clean Good value The room was very spacious
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place was very clean and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The coffee in the morning was great! The location is a bit off the main road but you get peace and quiet, and the mountain air. If you have a possibility try to book a room upstairs - gives you more space and a view of the mountains.
Cons: I guess I am not used to the traditional Italian breakfast of cake and Nutella but as I already experienced it a few days before that (at a friends place), it didn't come as a surprise. I'd have to think hard to find something else to criticise.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This place is fantastic value for money. The owners were extra friendly. We communicated via Google translate as they couldnt speak English and we can't speak Italian. The decor is beautiful. There are extra little touches throughout the house. We had a typical Italian breakfast which is cake, cake and more cake. All homemade, all delicious but we would have liked yogurt and a little fruit and cereal. We only stopped overnight but would definitely visit this area and this b & b again. Beautiful place!
Cons: More variety at breakfast. Fruit, cereal, yogurt.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice rooms , very comfortable beds. Wonderful staff-owner very nice and helpful. Offered us coffee when we arrived with snacks . Free unlimited bottles of water etc
Cons: The Toilet was exclusive but not really "attached" The number of the address does not come on the GPS
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Owner very nice, polite and friendly. Wonderful cook who offered a great breakfast: a really lovely cake prepared only for us guests a evening before. What could you want more??!!?? :-)

Pros: Our beautiful room was impeccably decorated with comfortable, tasteful furniture. The fresco painted ceiling and small balcony with an expansive panoramic mountain view made for a relaxing, delightful stay. Although we had only one night to experience Casa Rosati, we were able to enjoy all of the facilities. Our friendly hosts served us an apertivo in the garden from where we watched the sunset. After dinner we relaxed in the villa’s frescoed common rooms where we listened to music and perused the expansive library. We also enjoyed a glass of wine in the beautifully lit courtyard. Every aspect of the villa was decorated as if from an architectural magazine. Breakfast was a good selection of yogurt, granola, bread, cheese, meat, and pastry as well as eggs cooked to order and cappuccinos. The hosts were friendly and helpful despite our limited knowledge of Italian and their limited knowledge of English.

Pros: Breakfast was nice. Pastries, cakes, yogurt and cereal. The coffee was excellent. Owners and staff were very friendly. Many places within walking distance to eat and drink café. A must is to fill your water bottles at the Capistrello spring fountain. Fresh cold and sweet
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel is newly refurbished. It features the elevator despite having just 2 floors. Everything is neat and tidy, looks very new, and it is also very comfortable. Private parking hidden in the back but not locked. Nice owners, fun to chat with. Really good value for money.
Cons: Everything was superb, but breakfast. Although we were greeted with freshly made coffee which was excellent, most of buffet consisted of different sorts of cakes, and that was pretty much it. I assume its due to the fact that hotel was quite empty at the time, but some bread/milk or cheese/salami would already do the job.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, clean, great staff
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A last minute decision to stay in Capistrello and so good we arranged the rest of the motorbike trip so we could return and stay again. Very attentive staff on both occasions and spotless room.....a decent breakfast too.
Cons: It’s a little way from the centre of town but that quite suited so not really a ‘don’t like’.
