The room was clean. I wasn't so sure it would be judging the lobby and elevator area. But it was. It was small, but that didn't bother us - we just needed a place to sleep and it was 1am. Lady working the morning front desk shift was super nice. All in all it was fine but I would say an $80 hotel, not $100+. First, the website I booked thru said I was booking a double room in the description. So 2 beds. When I checked in he said I reserved a single and it would be $10 more for a double. Not the botel's fault necessarily. This put us over $100 for this hotel room and we think we could have found a nicer hotel for the same money. I was looking for a basic, but clean $80ish room so we could sleep for 7 hours and eat breakfast. We were exhausted and woke up 5 minutes before breakfast was over and everything was already put away. It would be nice to have breakfast until 10. Also, and again not the hotel's fault, there was a large family group staying that night and apparently some stayed up late drinking (one drunk man my daughters and I encountered outside and in the lobby on our way in). The next morning there were a few cop cars out front as one of them had been accused of stealing something. The lady working the front desk was embarrassed and apologized multiple times. I told her about the discrepancy in the price of the room and I believe she fixed it. The man working the night before had nothing to say about it even when I showed him that the site said "double room".
The hotel looks nice, The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I liked the complimentary popcorn and drinks. They did not accept my business card because it did not have my name on it. The room was the smallest I have ever been in, too small. The complimentary breakfast was self serve, self cook, with only a few items
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was very clean. You could hear through the walls and floors as if there was no soundproofing. This was the worst aspect of our stay... not only did we have to hear everything going on around us, we were also uncomfortable about them hearing us.
The location can't be beat. Cramped quarters, half the channels didn't work on tv, has to change own blankets/sheets, had to ask breakfast staff multiple times for basic items. I wasn't impressed in the least.
Location. Easy to access off of interstate. Not impressed. Too pricey for what we got. Not the cleanest. Stains on sheets, both beds. If I wasn't work out from traveling I would've not slept on the beds. No washcloths clean and told us they'd deliver them but they forgot. Hairdryer didn't work... Then we were excited to get breakfast to head out to the road again, and it was awful. Not replenished in a timely fashion, and when it finally was, the eggs were not even like warm. Straight out of the refrigerator. The attendant laughed about it when I told her. I doubt we'll stay at a baymont inn if they are all like this one was.
Slept little due to noise from room above us. Sounded like a 800 pound gorilla walking and jumping all night. Breakfast was horrible , would not eat it. Coffee looked like dirty dishwater.. Room smelled like a nursing home. See above
Very friendly and clean Nothing
Close to interstate highways to continue trithis was a round trio 2 weeks apart Upon arrival was told of additional charge for small pet. On original stay two weeks before, no additional fees applied. After questioning desk personnel why, she was able to call mgr and get charges waived. Got key to room, drove to door, keys didn't work. Went back to reception desk, received new keys, opened door to find room had not been cleaned or linens changed. Went back to reception desk, got new room and keys. Requested non-smoking room. Floors had not been vacuumed and ashes on floor in bathroom, slats broken on windows to prevent privacy. Notified front desk upon checkout.
i DID NOT LIKE THAT IT IS LOCATED RIGHT BESIDE THE INTERSTATE. VERY NOISEY.
Very nice hotel, good atmosphere and comfy beds. We were just driving through and stayed one night out of necessity and this place was perfect. Comfortable and clean. Nice beds and good breakfast. Nothing to dislike.
We were just staying in Hattiesburg to break up a long trip on our 2 year anniversary. Booked a king bed, but when we arrived they were out and put us in two doubles. Sleeping apart isn't how we wanted to start our anniversary. They offered no apology or reconciliation at the desk. Not even a "my bad". Not too picky, just want what I pay for.
I liked it because it was right of the interstate and not far from the movie theatre or any restaurants. It was a quiet area. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean. Overall just a great atmosphere.
Rooms available off a locked hallway Comfortable bed Not clean Very worn and run down Rough surroundings and clientele
location no towel service every day, had to request.

Nice hotel and great location. the breakfast buffet was not very good.
Quiet. Convenient Towel bar & toilet tissue holders fell off the wall. Breakfast bar did not have very many choices. Somewhat plain!
I like how pet friendly they are, I like the design of the hotel, and the cleanliness. The beds are very difficult to sleep on, my girlfriend likes a firm matress and I like a soft matress, both of us were uncomfortable. The TV is always too dim to watch. Being that it is a hotel TV, you can't change it.
This hotel was clean and quite. Nice, clean gym with decent equipment. Only had 1 towel in our bathroom. Called down asking for another and never got it.
Very quiet. Wonderful beds. Very clean. Excellent breakfast. No place to hang clothes. No closet / hanging bar of any kind. Real disappointment given how much the room cost per night. Will be staying at hotels in this same area for the next three years (child in college) and would like to hang my clothes. Fix it.
It was beautiful had just stayed in 5 star resort and this room was as ni ce or even nicer and breakfast was great
For it to be a pet friendly hotel it was VERY ceanl! The breakfast was rather questionable. I honestly believed the eggs were buttery pancakes by the look before I was corrected. The waffles were the only decent thing about breakfast.
Have stayed at many La Quinta properties. This is the nicest one I've come across. Feels like it's brand new and rooms are updated. Luxurious feel. Side door key was not working.
Location. Pleasant staff. Dirty dirty nasty carpets in lobby. This gives 1st impression of your hotel. Dirty & unattended pantry. It's never stocked! I've had to ask them to refill condiments. Slime & nastiness on trash can lid, was disgusting! And this was our 2nd & final stay.
What we loved about this hotel: Full kitchen, including dishwasher, cooking utensils, stovetop and microwave; very large table for working & eating; comfortable living room with recliner, lots of seating; very comfortable bed and good pillows; softer, thicker towels than we would have expected; free laundry facilities; exercise room and access to a nearby fitness center. Add to that the wonderful Southern hospitality of the staff, and we were very happy with this hotel. All this for a very reasonable price, too.
Good location. Friendly staff. Pet friendly. And they still offer smoking rooms. on the 4th floor & it's very noisy where you can't sleep. Last time we stayed two ppl were smoking marijuana & arguing! This time other guests had their tvs blaring so loud ! Noisy! The pantry is dirty & never stocked! The carpets in lobby disgusting!!
The staff! Tesla was great! She went above and beyond to accommodate myself and my party. No. Nothing.
I stayed here for a weekend and it was awesome. The hotel is located in a convenient location and I was also able to bring my dog. I will definitely be staying here again!
We had a great stay! The staff was very professional, the hotel was very clean, the rooms are very spacious, and the wireless internet worked perfectly!
Gas stations, pharmacy and Restaurants were close enough to walk. Felt safe and would take kids without any concerns. Fire alarm at 1-2am was inconvenient but not anyone's fault from what I could tell. I think we should have been offered a comp night since it continued every hour or so after the fire dept left.
The staff was friendly. There was a night club right next door and we stayed on a Friday night. There were little flying bugs all over the place. Bed was uncomfortable. It was hard to find the location to the entrance. Towels looked clean, but once they got wet, you could see that they were dirty.
My room had a bad oder and the towels were a bit stained. I went to the frontdesk to get more but they were all the same. I traveled with a group in which we all stayed more than one night and housekeeping never came to clean any of the rooms throughout the stay.
Te room was very nice and clean. I didn't like that they do not have an elevator and you have to carry your luggage upstairs.
Location was good and it was affordable. Beds were uncomfortable and we saw TWO roaches in our room!!!
For the price I was very happy. The room was clean & very comfortable I will stay again! The elevator broke on my last day there
Easy from Interstate to hotel. Had its own drive and parking, not shared or through to something else. So, no one should have been in the parking lot unless headed to the hotel. Room was quiet (Thursday night) and clean. Value met the cost. Nothing. My first stay at a Sleep Inn. If this is representative of the chain, I would stay again.
