Good clean hotel, with good facilities This isn't really a fault of the hotel, but there isn't many restaurants nearby which makes eating out a bit uninteresting.
The bath in the room was excellent. A good hotel to stay in. The restaurant evening menu very limited. breakfast also limited.
The location was convenient and the price point was good. The street that the hotel was on was very busy, and I was quite surprised that the room did not have air conditioning.
Free car parking. Breakfast selection was good. Spacious room. Free internet great. Bathroom was in terrible condition - very mouldy, & rusty shower. Was not up to their advertised 4-star standard.
The wellness area with a great pool. The big free parking ideal to whom is going down to Italy and want to have a brake. Breakfast was surprinsigly good for Italian standards. Free Wi-fi Internet Nothing
+ location, parking - reception staff , firs room had mold !!!
quiet, comfortable, beautiful pools food was marginal, couldnt get on internet in room
The Hotel offers all facilities for those who like to enjoy an German atmosphere. Again when we are staying in the north of |Italy we experience the fact that the beds are to small and the matras feels like a piece of wood.
quaint little town getting to the hotel is more work than advertised. it's a lot harder to get to old bolzano then they make it seem.
The hotel was located centrally and was peaceful in the evenings. Airconditioing was not working in the first 2 rooms we were offered, but functioned in the 3rd room that we were upgraded to. The worst aspect of our stay, had to be the experience in the breakfast room. The buffet breakfast was average in quality at best, but worst of all, we observed waiters clearing food leftovers (bread rolls etc) from guests breakfast tables and returning this food to the buffet again, after having been placed on the dirty trollies used to clear the tables. Similarly, we witnessed staff squeezing/touching the bread rolls to find the freshest for themselves. It was enough to put us off eating breakfast at this place...
peaceful mountain setting As a week end trip 1 night stay, we did not feel most welcome. upon checkout we were overcharged by a bottle of wine and another of water without much of an excuse.
Food was excellant- choice great -staff very helpful nothing was to much effort assistance with langage aws appreciated no
The attitude was nice. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. --
Set in a pretty location. Food was fairly good at the pizza restaurant. Good breakfast. Rooms were hot. We were disappointed in the quality of the rooms for the price.
In fact, it is a campus that includes a camping, besides the hotel. The small restaurant is open longer time than the standard restaurants in the region. We expected a hotel only, not a campus.
The typical Tiroler atmosphere of the hotel. Beds and breakfast was very good, the people were really helpful and gave us an upgrade. Also, there is a very nice restaurant, coffee bar and swimming pool. Everywhere around where the Alps. A lot of quality for this price! None
nice pepole, food very good, stuff profeshion.size of the room they dont chang the towers evry day.the. t.v in the room very small.
Accommodated our dog for 6 euros and breakfast was very good.
The breakfast is ok if you stay only one night, but definitelty not 3 star level. We did not stay in the camping, but that part seemed quite nice. The pictures and description do not reflect the reality. We were placed in a very small room (Not even a table fit next to the bed, even though we had indicated that we arrive with a one year old who has a travel bed - it would not fit in!) The price (rather the price per value) is outrageous even in Italian standards. The personel, except a few were not friendly at all. We never complain about noise, but in this hotel, the night traffic on the road is quite disturbing - even for us (the hotel is right on the road, in spite of the lovely pictures on bookings.com). I do not recommend this hotel.
comfortable hotel, very friendly staff, good ratio price/quality no refrigerator
Furniture needs some completion
Hotel staff was very polite and effective That you have to pay for the internet access
Very nice place and only 5 km from Bolzano. Great view of the Dolomites. The restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday.
staff had very poor levels of english
We stayed at the Hotel Rotwand two separate nights and found it very nice both times. The rooms were large and clean and overlooked the valley. The restaurant in the hotel served very good food, but the specials were a little pricey. The only comments is, if you wanted to eat dinner somewhere else you needed to drive either to Bolzono or Laive. There were no restaurants within walking distance.
Rooms (nicely decorated, clean, good size for 3star with large shower), restaurant (nice food, good wines at a fair price) None
Beautiful Hotel. One of the best Hotels I have stayed at during my travels
Beautiful room, views of the valley and wonderful location
Ideally located close to motorway but yet quiet position with stunning views of the mountains. Refreshing swimming pool, useful garage parking facility and spacious room to relax in to break our journey.
