Set on a large estate in the hills in central Mallorca, this country house has an outdoor pool overlooking Bonany Monastery. Its attractive apartments have free Wi-Fi and a private terrace. The air-conditioned apartments at Agroturismo Son Burgues combine traditional stone walls with stylish décor. Each one has a modern kitchen with a dishwasher, as well as a lounge with sofas and satellite TV. Staff at Son Burgues’ reception can provide information about what to see and do in Mallorca. The property organises hiking, horse riding and wine routes in the local area. You can drive to the S’Albufera National Park and Mallorca’s north coast in around 25 minutes. Palma Airport is around 35 minutes’ drive away.
Pros: Warm and friendly welcome! Everything was fine and an awesome place to stay!
Pros: The view, the pool, the rooms!
Cons: There were kitchen utilities missing that would have made our stay more easy. It was very limited.
Pros: Son Burgues is perfect! I can recommend and I hope I'll come back again:) You can get as same as on the pictures, everything is clean, pool is perfect, the view it's amazing....thank you Son Burgues!
Pros: The apartment is spacious, well-furnished and very comfortable. Very soft, leather sofas, art decor tables and lamps, and real paintings make the place. It is easy to make this vast area warm fast in January thanks to good heaters provided and so it feels really cosy inside. Kitchen is well-equipped and with induction cooker you can prepare your meals really quickly. Friendly staff, almost invisible, yet everything you need is brought. Not everybody speaks English, but we managed with Google translator :) With marble floors in winter you must remember to take warm slippers with you. The garden is well-maitained even at this time of the year and the pool lovely lit and cleaned but we didn't use it because of the temperature outside. What we cherished most was tranquility and beautiful views, and the house overlooking Petra and Bonany hermitage. I'd love to come back here again.
Cons: Unfortunately, water in the bathroom was hot only once, at times warm but usually just cool which made it very difficult to take a shower in January. Wi-fi connection sometimes lost the signal. Yet we did enjoy our stay here.
Pros: Such a relaxing place! Beautiful view on hills and little village Petra, enough beds at the pool. Spacious and clean appartment, well equipped kitchen, good furniture, good matrasses, good bathrooms. Kind host who provides some fruit and vegetables. We felt royalty guests at Son Burgues!
Cons: Everything was so great, we enjoyed and relaxed só much that we could not bother the little mosquitos/flies in the bedrooms. WiFi could be better.
Pros: A gorgeous location with a very large, clean and comfortable apartment. We loved it!
Pros: Wonderful rural area, a full equipped appartement, with kind, nice and caring owners. Our host was always reachable, provided full service throghout our stay in Mallorca.
Pros: Great quiet place! Big nice rooms and lovely swimming pool. We arrived late in the evening but were met in the road and followed to the room. Thank you and if we come back to Majorca, we would stay at this place again with great pleasure.
Pros: The location was perfect for us. We wanted to be away from crowded areas and noise. Beautiful country setting and lovely pool with the sun on it all day. Sebastion, the owner, a lovely person who would do anything needed. Staff very good as well. You need a car to get about.
Pros: Beautiful landscapes and atmosphere, not too far from major highway to access other areas of Mallorca. Petra has restaurants and stores for anything you might be missing. Kitchen fully equipped. We enjoyed our stay!
Cons: Showers were very cold. The owner said to leave the tap on for more than 5 minutes for the cold water to pass, but this didn´t help much if at all.
Offering free Wi-Fi, Petit Hotel Sa Plaça is set in a tranquil pedestrian square in the centre of Petra, 10 km from Manacor. Most of the rustic rooms offer views of the square. Air-conditioned rooms have a satellite TV, safe and a fridge. There is a seating area and the private bathroom comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. The hotel has an à la carte restaurant. There is also a bar and breakfast can be requested in your room. Currency exchange is available and you can hire a car or bicycle at the tour desk. An airport shuttle service is available for an extra charge. Palma de Mallorca Airport is a 40-minute drive away.
Pros: The actual hotel is fine and I've stayed there before and was happy to give it a second try....
Cons: We had indicated through Booking.com what time we would arrive. When we turned up the hotel was in darkness/ front door locked/ shutters all closed. We emailed and phoned but could get no answer. We tried asking at the adjoining cafe but the gent there was unable to help. We asked at a cafe across the square who gave us a mobile number to try but there was no answer. We contacted Booking.com and were looking at relocation to another hotel when eventually someone turned up to let us in. If this was a one off I would accept it as an unfortunate mistake. I stayed here a few years ago and exactly the same thing happened. On that occasion, after we complained to Booking.com, the manager eventually contacted one of the bars on the square and arranged for a complimentary drink whilst we waited and he was apologetic when he arrived. On this occasion there was no apology. The hotel is small - maybe only 3 rooms and if they do not wish to meet guests all they need to do is use a key safe and communicate with guests in advance. Being left in the rain outside a closed hotel without any communication for over an hour twice was not acceptable and there will not be a third visit for me.
Pros: The room was very pretty and cosy. The owner/manager was very nice and tried to make up for some of the shortcomings by offering us complimentary food. We checked out a day earlier because of our flights and the manager/owner didn't impose a penalty; rather he waived the one day's charges.
Cons: Some of the bathroom fittings were a little worn out and the air-conditioning was not working.
Pros: Everything was great but would have liked to have had some shampoo available.
Cons: I have stayed here several times and always love it. Thank you.
Pros: Quality of the room was really great for the budget.
Pros: Comfortable, traditional hotel in a really fab spot. Really friendly service. A great, reasonably priced, place to stay. Was there as a single women, with friends staying elsewhere in Petra and it was ideal.
