Pros: Very warm welcome, charming room and good tips for food and places to visit. Perfect location to relax near the city!
Pros: An excellent stay at Casa di Mariano. The room was splendid, the location was superb and the property was great value or money. Marylis and Jean Marc were charming hosts and their care and suggestions as to where to go over our four days with them proved extremely helpful.
Pros: The hosts are nice and welcoming and the accomodation just perfect!
Pros: Very friendly hosts, nice pool, decent breakfast and easy access to Ajaccio.
Cons: Toilet is located within the bedroom.
Pros: The owners are very nice. Coffee was good, internet worked very well.
Cons: I did not realize that the bathroom was part of the bedroom, not separated by a wall and door. The breakfast was exactly the same all 3 mornings....no variety. Room was not attended to even though we stayed 3 nights.
Pros: Nice pool for a dip during the very hot weather we experienced. We had separate attached houses with mezzanine bedrooms. Lots of space and with good air conditioning. Friendly hosts and an excellent breakfast on the terrace. We were just passing through, en route to the countryside near Bastia, but could see this would be a good base to visit north of Ajaccio. Very easy to get to from the airport.

Pros: Excellent food - dinner and breakfast. Pancakes cooked to order for breakfast! Good staff.
Cons: Dark decor and odd bathroom design. Weak aircon in room. Tiny pool. Relatively expensive for the quality but then you pay for a beach location.
Pros: Breakfast was nice, Omelette and Crêpes were made at live Cooking station located at sea front. It’s a boutique hotel with 12 rooms so relaxation and privacy are given. The infinity pool in front of the sea is amazing! The staff was very kind.
Cons: However, lunch and dinner are good but quite expensive. The rooms are all “suites” and nice. A hit disappointing to have only one bathroom sink in the junior villa for that price.
Pros: This is an amazing property, very clean and new. you feel like you live in your own villa. the size of the room is big with very nice interior and terrace. We stayed with 3,5 years old kid and she had a separate sofa. there are just a few rooms with shared swimming pool and very nice beach. Lots of restaurants are just a few minutes away by car. I really recommend this hotel, would love to come back
Pros: Room was amazing - we had our own private terrace - which was huge - jaquzzi/loungers/table & chairs
Cons: Restaurant menu was pretty underwhelming and not a huge choice - disappointing as the breakfast was delish!
Pros: The design of the hotel
Cons: Location a bit bar to city centre for people don’t drive
Located in Albitreccia, Kallisté Hôtel & Résidence is within a 5-minute drive of Agosta Beach and Plage de Stagnole. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: A very nice, spotlessly clean hotel and room and a very nice breakfast with excellent quality of bread, cheese and various hams. The pool is great, the location perfect, with a view of Les Iles Sanguinaires and Ajaccio. Very close to some of the best beaches we have ever been to. The stuff very polite and helpful.
Pros: Loved the very tranquil pool area which was virtually empty every day and had the most beautiful views over the bay. The rooms were finished to a high standard and were immaculately clean. The outside space was great too. Would recommend booking sea view room as the views were spectacular. If we revisited we would also book an apartment as the hotel is unmanned after 8pm so the additional facilities would definitely be useful.
Cons: Property was a little further from amenities than we had envisaged - a car is definitely needed. Air conditioning could also have been cooler.
Pros: This hotel was in a quiet, peaceful area up on a hill. The pool and pool area were very nice and clean. Our room was very nice and clean as well as the bathroom. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was good. Beaches and restaurants were close by. We would stay here again.
Cons: There was not a strong reception presence here. They were polite but not very friendly and spoke limited English, except for one who did speak more English. It was not clear where to get pool towels and there was limited information on the surrounding area. Also, I was told I could not bring a glass of water from the breakfast area to my room.
Pros: Great staff, excellent location, nice breakfast, lovely pool area, what more could you want.
Cons: Bit of noise in reception area and could hear television in next room at times dispite notice on door asking guests to be quiet and considerate, this is not the hotels fault.
Pros: Very well appointed 2-bedroom appartment. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly, but unintrusive.. The air-con was great, given the summer heat, and wasn't noisy at night. The location is good - lovely sea view from our appartment and pool - but far enough from the beach and main road to be really quiet
Pros: Location was beautiful, extremely quiet and relaxing! You will certainly need a car to be able to get around town. The breakfast was wonderful and the patio has a gorgeous view. The staff were helpful and pleasant upon every meeting. I would love to stay here again. The ceasar salad is a must try too :)
Pros: Exceptional place to stay. Very calm, beautiful pool, nice apartment, fantastic view, delicious breakfast and very nice staff! We enjoyed our stay and looking forward to the next one in this residence!
Pros: Good location, nice room with terrace, good breakfast
Pros: Very clean quiet resort with excellent views and lovely pool. Accommodating courteous staff and beautiful well equipped apartment.
Cons: Definitely recommend to have a car as although the property is reasonably close to the beach the return journey is up a steep hill. Also the nearest shop/eateries are atleast half hour away on foot. Terrible wifi if thats important.
Pros: New hotel not far from the sea coast. Very nice and cosy rooms, very clean. Rooms are with the see view, but the ones with garden view are also nice, quite with see, fresh air. Perfect french breakfast with the terrace.
Pros: The 2-bedroom apartment was a good size for two adults and a small child. It was well appointed and had all the facilities we required. The sea views across to Ajaccio were fabulous and was in good proximity to good beaches.
Pros: The whole experience was delightful. The elevated location is superb, with huge views of the whole Gulf of Ajaccio, and just a 10 mins walk from the beach but yet set back from the main road so there is no traffic noise. The exterior is modern and tasteful, the interior spacious. My room was quite simply furnished but both modern and large, with very good bathroom. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a large choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is large and clean. There is free parking on site. No lunch or dinner served, but there is a first class and inexpensive restaurant named Chez Alain just 2 kms away on the main road in the direction of Porticcio and Ajaccio. There are many fine beaches nearby also.
Pros: the vieuw over the seaside
Cons: paying for breakfast
Pros: wonderful position, great pool and balcony rooms. Nicely old fashioned feel - good free internet and superb views.
Cons: The non balcony room was small and faced the road, not the garden as advertised. It was noisy at times and very hot (no air conditioning). The staff seemed to be a gang of young people who took little interest in our welfare. I also did not like them using the pool with their friends which they did very noisily and with little or no regard to paying guests. The staff were not interested in our complaints about the noisy hot room: they said 'no one else has ever complained'.
Pros: A beautiful hotel with wonderful views of the bay. The swimming pool was especially nice and the quality of the materials used was exceptional.
Cons: not really.
Pros: nice view. very kind staff.
Pros: Location, room.
Cons: A little bit noisy because of parking area under the window. The pool was repairing which is again noisy and generally strainge within the high season.
Pros: 1. The location of the Hotel Kalliste Molini is indeed wunderfull. Further we stay in room number 4 and really appreciate the view of the sea from bed :-) 2. It seems to be that the Hotel was quite recently fully renovated and therefore the furnishing is new and high-quality. 3. The hotel staff member are very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Unfortunately, it has to be mentioned that in front of the Hotel a new swinning pool (looks like a pool) is in construction. Hence, in the morning during the week its getting a little bit noisy. According to my oppinion it was not that problem but at least a note in the hotel description in order to inform the guests in advance is necesarry and desirable.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful personnel, especially the owner's help was greatly appreciated when he showed me the directions to get to the Porticcio harbor
With a stay at Hotel Marengo, you'll be centrally located in Ajaccio, within a 5-minute drive of Ajaccio Cathedral and Musee Fesch.
Pros: Very friendly service, Marie is a wonderful host and cares about her guests. Very comfortable rooms, clean and spacious bathrooms, nice style and atmosphere in the cute little hotel! Located in a quite neighbourhood, a little outside the centre and beach is 2min walk away. Highly recommended hotel!
Cons: Public transports goes very rarely in Ajaccio, so it's hard to commute from the centre to the hotel if one does not have a car or wants to walk.
Pros: The location, 5mins from the beach and the overall classy feel and quality of fittings as well as the super-professional, helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: No point having a TV with only one English channel and the room was a little too tiny (even if the bed was good). Shame there wasn't even a kettle in the room. Breakfast (additional to the room price) was basically just quality bread and jam, so not great for the price.
Pros: Lovely well appointed hotel in a quieter neighborhood of Ajaccio. The rooms were very comfortable.
Pros: The staff and the cosiness of the hotel and its location
Pros: Easy 3 min walk to beach. For us during the shoulder season, it was no problem parking but I can see it might be an issue during peak season. Close to grocery store and some food. Owner was very nice and welcoming.
Cons: The bed wasn't the most comfortable.
Pros: You saw at once that the management paid attention to all the little details that make a stay pleasant.
Cons: Nothing could have been better
Pros: A very friendly staff, very tastefully decorated rooms. And something we particularly liked because we we usually don't like ac: the perfect air-conditioning system: no noise or chilly breeze that keeps you awake. Location is great: at walking distance from the center, but in a quiet neighborhood, with an excellent bakery around the corner. Plus a nice coffee bar next to it where they allow you to eat your croissant when you order coffee ;-) And at one minute walk from the beach (which has a very nice beach bar).
Cons: We opted for the economy room with an outside toilet, something we usually don't mind, but if you are tall we wouldn't recommend it. You will bump your head if you go there at night even though you are warned for the low ceiling. ;-)

Pros: It was such a friendly atmosphere, with lovely facilities and beautiful surroundings. We also had stunning dinner in the sunset. 5 out of 5!
Pros: Location Calm Restaurant onsite Swimming pool
Pros: Great setting up in the hills but easy driving distance to Ajaccio centre
Pros: Good and cool room
Cons: WiFi code was given to us at check out, so not very usefull.
Pros: Very good location, not far from the centre of Ajaccio. Very quiet, pleasant spot. Very spacious bedroom
Cons: Not very good value for money. Expensive for a 3* hotel
Pros: We stayed here for two separate nights when we arrived & departed from Corsica. The location was great for us - close drive to the airport but outside of the city (no traffic/noise). The property area is very nice and peaceful, with a pool, garden, and great dining area. Our room was clean & generally comfortable. Dinner & breakfast were both homemade and delicious.
Cons: The room was just a little small (no place to keep two luggage bags open comfortably). Otherwise it was great.
Pros: Nice location outside of the town conveniently located for the ferry. Spacious comfortable clean room. Good swimming pool.
Cons: Everything is about 25% over priced resulting in poor value for money. Breakfast is 40% over priced. No views from the rooms due to 2 metre high bushes.
With a stay at Hotel Demeure Les Mouettes in Ajaccio, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Ajaccio Cathedral and Musee Fesch. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast was good value for the money and very tasty.
Pros: Excellent facilities and staff and in a great location!!!
Pros: All staff are friendly and made us feel welcome. Loved the private beach and all activities.
Pros: Staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The private beach was perfect, the paddle boarding was amazing, other activities like snorkeling and yoga were pretty fun too.
Cons: More choice on food, more non-fish based options
Pros: The overall qualities of this hotel are excellent especially the balcony room we had selected. The fine dining restaurant is excellent. Every member of the staff team were a delight and gave great service.
Pros: didn't eat any meals at the hotel as they were expensive and we wanted to get out to see Ajaccio
Cons: cost of all extras including mini-bar
With a stay at Résidence 18bonaparte in Ajaccio, you'll be just steps from Ajaccio Cathedral and 6 minutes by foot from Musee Fesch. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access and multilingual staff.
Pros: The central location. The range of equipment supplied.
Cons: It is really complicated to know what kind of accommodation it is. No reception, check out at 10 am and no facture or even a receipt when you pay.
Pros: It was well located, very comfortable and clean with everything we needed.
Cons: Paid parking
Pros: comfy, very clean and an amazing example how to furnish a very small place to get the most out of it.
Cons: - the whole communication with the host - misleading information (hotel policy) on booking.com (despite stated otherwise: prepayment is required, no children allowed below 3y) - very loud noise from the street (restaurant talking, bar music, glas shattering) - payment in bar only (leave it on the floor desk and text a photo of it to the host)
Pros: The location is excellent. Close to everything and on a street that truly comes to life at night so you just step out of your front door into an amazing atmosphere and music drifts in through your window each evening. Everything we needed was provided at the property including very effective air conditioning. The people who came each day to change the towels and empty the bins were very friendly and nice to deal with. They would always ask if we needed anything else and although we didn’t ask for anything we felt that had we done do they would have tried hard to help.
Cons: The bathroom is very small to the point that there is no room for a hand basin so you have to wash your hands, brush you teeth etc in the sleeping/ living area. There is only one wide opening window and because of the size of the studio it opens in front of the cooker so has to be closed if the hob is in use. Although neither of these things bothered us particularly there is another apartment upstairs and you can hear people walking up and down the stairs and across the floor and the noise from the street outside is quite loud.
Pros: Compact, but comfortable and cleverly laid-out room in the middle of the old city with everything accessible nearby. Very friendly, helpful, and accessible hostess.
Cons: If you have two people and a fair bit of stuff with you, then the smaller room is do-able but a bit cramped.
When you stay at Résidence de Tourisme Ajaccio Amirauté in Ajaccio, you'll be by the sea, within a 5-minute drive of Musee Fesch and Ajaccio Cathedral. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Ajaccio? This residence has facilities measuring 3229 square feet (300 square meters), including conference space. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location is not bad at all, with a nice view on Ajaccio and the mountains. Also, we were somewhat in the back, further away from the street noise. The apartment was very tastefully decorated and the plates, glasses and cutlery were more than sufficient.
Cons: The view on one side, with the parking still to be arranged. Apart from that I cannot possibly think of anything ! As we were six, a 9-people apartment would have been better, but apparently they are gone so quickly.
Pros: We had 2 bedroom apartment it was very clean and modern. The pool was the best bit, very quite while we were there.
Cons: The cistern in the loo wasnt working correctly. Didn't have time to complain or mention it.
Pros: All the facilities. Free parking and the location
Cons: The elevator was not working when we left, we had to carry down the suitcases on the stairs with no help.
Pros: Nice apartment, comfortable and good air con and balcony.
Cons: A coffee machine with pods as opposed to filter coffee machine would have been a big improvement. Decent sized glass for drinks in the room are required (only small tumblers provided) At the small jacuzzi pool it states 'no kids' on the notice board, but it was full of kids, sometimes unsupervised, and despite complaining at reception nothing happened
Pros: Very clean, quiet and the pool was exceptional.
Pros: Very good breakfast; good standard of the bedroom and bathroom of the apartment; good internet connection
Cons: Kitchenette of the apartment far below expectations (very old equipment; not well cleaned; rust on the fridge and cuttlery); service was asked to fix lightning in the kitchen (change bulb) what was not done over 4 days stay;
Pros: The apartment was spacious and clean. Relatively quiet considering the fact the hotel is close to the main street. The kitchen is properly equipped for those travelling with kids or cooking on your own.
Cons: I have mixed feelings really. The hotel isn't bad, but we did not have the view presented on the site. Majority of them must have been taken from Best Western Hotel not Residence Amiraute. The view varies so please take that into the account when booking. Also the hotel has a very strict booking policy. I had to change my dates due to work and was trying to shorten the stay for two days of which I have informed the hotel a month before I was supposed to stay there, asking if I could pay less for those days and my plea was rejected so I was somewhat disappointed and to be honest surprised as it had never happened before and I do travel quite often. I do not think the hotel is a good value for money too am afraid. As for the beach you have to travel by car (aprox 30 min in traffic, which is a daily occurrence in the city which is understandable but still not something you enjoy doing on vacation).
Located in Alata, Perula di Machja is by the sea, within a 15-minute drive of Musee Fesch and National Museum of the Bonaparte Residence. Featured amenities include microwave in a common area and refrigerator in a common area. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: New house with great pool, lovely hanging lounge chair and very friendly and helpful hosts! Plus nice breakfast and great table d’ hôtes. Jean-Pierre was really helpful to provide tips for excursions. After breakfast, there is this nice routine when he shows the weather forecast and the routes to the things you want to see or do. With hand-outs of detailed maps of the chosen location. His english is very good. The location is also great and really convenient. We expected it to be more remote, but it was actually just a short ride to the beaches or the city of Ajaccio, while at the same time being really very quiet and relaxing. With breath-taking views over the surrounding landscape.
Cons: It was great! Be aware that the rooms do not allow for cooking your own dinner (plates and cutlery as well as a fridge are available for a salad or bread meal, if you decide not to take advantage of Brigitte’s great cooking skills).
Pros: Jean Pierre and his wife was very welcoming. It is in quiet location with great view and I loved the night sky as you can see plenty of stars and milky way. Jean Pierre gave us ideas for what to do and see in the area and his recommendation has been great. Thank you
Pros: View was beautiful. The owner was polite and quick to respond to questions. The room was clean.
Cons: I was confused about the shared shower. I had expected a private bathroom, as the other room had specifically said shared bathroom and the room I rented said nothing. I probably wouldn't have rented a place without a private bathroom. I see that has been addressed and is now very clear. It was also noted that we would recieve a would recieve a welcome drink, which didn't happen, but not a big deal.

Pros: Beachs are at walking distance
Cons: Very clean Pools are fantastic Reception team very knowledgeable and helpful
Pros: The room was an apartment with balcony. Just had a great time. Lots of stuff to do around ajaccio
Pros: Plenty of room in the apartment
Cons: Reception was a little rude
Cons: Great location great people
When you stay at Hôtel La Pinède in Ajaccio, you'll be by the sea, within a 5-minute drive of Trottel Beach and St. Francois Beach. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel was across the road from a nice sandy beach with few rocks!!
Pros: Great location a bit out of town which makes it more relaxed Very nice beach across the road Great pool
Cons: All good
Pros: The location was a little out of town but right in front of the beach and a short walk to some good restaurants. The views from the front of the property were stunning with the pool being a great feature.
Cons: The hotel itself was a little dated with a refresh probably due. It was mainly clean but had hair in the bed and bathroom (not mine) on arrival. The car park was full most of the time, hit and miss as to whether you would get a space in the designated area.
Pros: The location is excellent directly across from a lovely beach and two minutes walk from 4 excellent restaurants and bars. The pool and gardens are lovely.
Pros: Top position views from room fantastic! Very comfortable bed & large room!
Pros: there was a very complete and good breakfast
Pros: Perfect location, just infront of the beautiful beach, a lots of restaurant, close to the bus stop, the staff is so kind, friendly and helpful. Definitely I will come here again.
When you stay at Hotel Dolce Vita in Ajaccio, you'll be on the beach, within a 15-minute drive of Ajaccio Cathedral and Musee Fesch. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Rooms were spacious and comfortable with an excellent sea view. The swimming pool was well situated with plenty of loungers and sunshades and towels available. Well maintained every morning.
Cons: Very limited restaurant menu and high priced too. €21 for breakfast far too steep so we didn’t have any. Supplies of bottled water, tea and coffee sachets were hard to come by - you shouldn’t need to ask for daily replenishments when the room charges are so high. Step access to hotel was a problem with a heavy suitcase and a wonky knee. What if you were really disabled? Handrail on steps to entrance difficult to use because bushes has not been cut back. Area of beach was potentially dangerous with submerged remains of a concrete jetty and sudden changes in water depth. To really appreciate this hotel and the area around which is a long way out of Ajaccio you need a car. If not you need to use the route 5 bus and you can buy a weekly ticket for€12 at the Tourist Information Office which is better than paying€3 for each journey. You can use it on any bus. Bus stop outside the hotel. Also electric bikes if you want them.
Pros: Heavenly Even the dolphins put on a show at dinner
Pros: Very relaxing. Brilliant staff. Quiet location.
Cons: It always annoys me when you book for more than 1 night pay the same price for the next nights but only get a complimentary bottle of water for the first night.
Pros: The sea view and the beautiful flowers in the yard
Pros: Wonderful ocean front location, excellent service & delicious food!! We highly recommend this hotel.
Pros: Lovely view from the balconey. Huge comfortable bed.
Cons: Didn't feel like a 4-star hotel...a bit outdated. Sign with 4 star rating indicated the rating was given back in 2012.
Pros: Hotel Dolce Vita is a lovely, luxurious hotel. The rooms are extremely deluxe, and appear to be very recently upgraded and renovated with very high-end finishes. The rooms are huge with large sitting areas, extensive closet space, luxrious baths, and large balconies or patios. There is maid service twice daily too. The hotel has a beautiful waterfront setting. While the beach area is rocky, it is quite picturesque. The covered, outdoor dining area has magnificent views of the water and is extremely attractive. The restaurant also had excellent food. While the hotel is situated approximately a 15 minute drive from the downtown area of the city, the hotel is accessful by both cab and a very nice public bus. Overall - a fabulous resort!
Pros: Fantastic location right on sea, the superior rooms where first class.
Cons: but no beach, swim off rocks; dining room good for two meals ,since only changed set meal once a week .coffee gourmand ( with a few small 'cakes' ) at euro 9 must be most expensive on the island.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Ajaccio? This hotel has facilities measuring 1722 square feet (160 square meters), including a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very good restaurant on site, terrific breakfast, great staff and comfortable bed
Cons: Wished the pool had been open for swimming.
Pros: Very nice terrace overlooking the bay of Ajaccio. Free parking in front of the hotel but make sure you don't arrive too late. Convenient breakfast included.
Cons: A bit far from the city centre although you can walk there in about 30 minutes
Pros: Exceptional breakfast, friendly stuff and rooftop view!
Cons: A bit far from the city center for walking but perfect for morning run! :)
Pros: The room was clean and it was near down town
Cons: It is very noisy because it is near a road with a lot of traffic
Pros: Comfortable bed, newly renovated bathroom, friendly staff, easy on site parking.
Cons: The decor of the bedroom is outdated and not in keeping with the newly renovated bathroom. However it was comfortable and all we needed for one night.
Pros: Exceeded my expectations considering its 2*hotel
Cons: Hotel actually offers 20e cheaper stay than I found on booking.com
Pros: Excellent breakfast on the terrace.
Cons: Very long, boring walk to the town, but very convenient for the airport. Taxi from town cost 15€.
Pros: Staff were so friendly
Cons: Not much to do in the area
With a stay at Hotel San Carlu Citadelle, you'll be centrally located in Ajaccio, steps from Ajaccio Cathedral and 7 minutes by foot from Musee Fesch. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and a 24-hour front desk. Planning an event in Ajaccio? Pros: Every thing
Pros: Great little hotel , room ready early, good location.
Pros: Super location. Close to the centre of town, the market and the restaurants. Very comfortable bed and very clean room. The receptionist was very helpful.
Pros: Very close to the beach (some 50m!) and at the same time only some 3 minutes walk from the central square, market, Napoleon house etc. Hotel room really comfortable with big bed, conditioner, fridge, kettle (tea, coffee, water). Very clean! Staff 24h, always friendly and helpful. Storage room for luggage.
Cons: Breakfast not included in price and is quite expensive (did not try it, so cannot tell about the quality).

Our seawater therapy and spa center offers upscale treatments for an enchanting escape. Unique luxury services such as its heated seawater pool, private beach and bespoke service will ensure you have an exceptional break. A sumptuous site that has been preserved after over the years, where nature reigns supreme.
Pros: The Location is spectacular, the staff is amazing, the sunsets are beautiful. Small private beach and pool, room has a small sea view. Parking is complimentary.
Cons: My only suggestion is that they have king size beds instead of putting together two full beds. It was a bit uncomfortable, but the room was still great.
Pros: An exclusive beach even though it’s small but nice. Employees are enthousiaste and helpful
Pros: The views were lovely. Service was good. Pool area beautiful.
Cons: The hallway carpeting was worn. The hotel could use a bit of a spruce up.
Pros: Perfect location, car is needed of course to get around and other places. Breakfast was very good, plage was also nice, comfortable and quiet place to spend time during vacation
Cons: They addressed to me Mr, not Madam :) couldn’t find reservation at check in because of that mistake, we lost some of our clothes which is disappeared from the balcony, gone with the wind maybe :)
Pros: The only really good thing about this hotel is the location, which is spectacular indeed. The outside area is good with a nice pool and small private beach. What is really disappointing is the quality of the restaurant, which is extremely poor. Breakfast is very expensive, but basis. Lunch and dinners are just bad, don’t eat in the hotel if you can avoid it! Staff is trying, but is very young and inexperienced, just like a bunch of kids without any supervision or management. Rooms are ok, again the view compensates for other shortcomings.
Pros: It is nice hotel that is managed extremelly poorly. The staff is untrained, the service is very hostile.
Cons: the service is not even on level of 1* hotel. The staff is very disorganized, they cannot even serve the basic need such as umbrellas on the beach, booking some activities, the hotel is VERY close to the airport, so every hour from 6 am till midnight you will see hear and see airplans flying just over your head.
Pros: The view of the sea! Very comfortable bed, fantastic cuisine!
Pros: The bed was the biggest bed I've ever seen and the view from the balcony was amazing! Great pool and deck, it was so peaceful it was a most like we had it to ourselves - just wished we could have stayed longer!
Cons: The only part we did not like was the breakfast, at 25€ each it was v poor. We went down at 9.30 and there was no bread, milk, plates or croissants left, and that was pretty much all ther was anyway. We didn't have it a second time.
Pros: Scenary landscape, nice staff and very good cuisine
The Residence les Sanguinaires is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. It's easy to keep connected with the property's Wi-Fi in designated areas. The hotel is approximately 17km away from Napoleon Bonaparte Airport. Famous attractions Îles Sanguinaires and Pointe de la Parata are just a short taxi ride away. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.
Pros: - Nice and clean property - Spacious rooms - Well equipped GYM
Cons: - Terrible slow internet connection (256/128kbs like in the late ‘90s) - A bit far from Ajaccio
Pros: Nice and spacious apartment at a holiday residence that offers many useful facilities (for instance, laundry and fitness). Staff are very friendly and helped us with salt and pepper which was not provided in the kitchen of the apartment. Overall a very pleasant experience!
Cons: Smell in the fridge at the arrival.
Pros: Very good value. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. Each apartment has its own wifi box which was simple to connect.
Cons: It is a shame that the restaurant is only open June to August but there are a few nice restaurants in walking distance.
Pros: Nice place...
Cons: Something the hotel wasn't responsable for... The weather
Pros: Very very nice Lady at reception Beach and pool basically just outside the room Very quiet room even if facing the street
Cons: Bed linen a little worn out and old, no mattress cover on the sofa bed
Pros: Location, facilities, views are all good.
Cons: The bed was not good
Pros: Well organized; quiet. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great value for money!!!!!
Cons: Over-rated; should be a 3 star but offers great value for money. Ventilation issues (mold, odors in hallway), likely related to season (November) or limited to our floor.
Pros: Large nice premises, modern equipment. Quiet place, nice swimming pool and close to beach.
Pros: Great apartment - no personell and everything is closed after 1st October. You receive a code via telephone and the key is placed in a basket in the hall. No issues with that. Reataurant is closed and now personel around. However, location is great with a great view on the sea!
Pros: The apartment was fantastic with great views. We were there out of season and some facilities were not available however this was reflected in the price. Parking could be limited if the complex was full however this is normal for France. You really need a car as it is quite a trek to the town however I would highly recommend Les Sanguinaires
Pros: good location if you have a car since the hotel is on the beach side of ajaccio.
Cons: compared to price should be at least cleaning the rooms on a daily basis by there staff and not to make you stay for a week to offer you what is common sence..cleaning services.
When you stay at Auberge du Cheval Blanc in Ajaccio, you'll be by the sea, just steps from Ajaccio Cathedral and 6 minutes by foot from Musee Fesch. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: location, bathroom
Cons: dirty steep poorly lit staircase; hard to operate door lock; lack of hotel faciities
Pros: Amazing bathroom with a really nice shower. The bedding was clean and of high quality. Everything seems to be recently done. The light in the room was very nice.
Cons: The quality of our room was in stark contrast with the dark and dirty stairs hallway. Just get through that, and you'll be fine.
Pros: Everything was perfect! The apartment is extremely charming and spacious. Located in the heart of Ajaccio in a walking distance to restaurants, bars and the street market. Shower was by far the best I’ve had in the whole trip in Corse and kitchen was well equipped with coffee machine and capsules. Would love to come back and stay longer.
Pros: Central location in a lovely street full of small bars and restaurants which was remarkably quiet. A good sized room and a lovely bathroom which was well equipped. Welcoming staff who helped carry the luggage up the steep stairs to the rooms.
Cons: A little expensive compared with the other hotels we stayed in at Calvi, Bastia etc.
Pros: The concierge was fantastic. The bed extremely comfortable and room very quite.
Pros: The room was very good. The restaurant was also very good.
Cons: We were told check in was 1230 to 1430. We arrived at 1300 and there was nobody there. Waited 15 minutes then telephoned, took 20 minutes to get an answer. Access to the room was via a long, steep dark staircase. Overall not very welcoming.
