6.8 Good
Pros: Great location, comfortable room, clean overall. Essentially what you'd expect from a B&B. The people are friendly and helpful overall up to a point.
Cons: No AC. Fiddly shower. Macerator kept making noise. The owner was friendly until he accused me of damaging something on the bed with an iron even though I didn't have one. The iron in the room was fixed to the wall with no power socket. He then went on to say it was my hair drier even though he said it was the shape of an iron. This conversation ruined the experience. It's a shame because it's a nice spot.

Pros: Excellent location, very friendly staff and I think the best boutiques hotel in Eastbourne
9.5 Excellent
Pros: If we can give a 12 out of 10 for the interior and the style of the room we would definitely do. However the sanitary installations are a bit strange - also very nice but a bit noicy if you use water (shower, toilet & washing). The hosts are very friendly and the eggs Benedict for breakfast were superbe.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was of a high standard and superbly presented. The hotel was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. I thoroughly recommend this hotel!
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Delightful owners, who made us feel absolutely at home, and for whom nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: Our only reservation was that we couldn't get radio programmes via the TV, but we didn't feel strongly enough about it to ask. If we had, there might have been a solution!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location close to town, theatres and seafront. Friendly owner and staff. Easy to park nearby. Very quiet
Cons: Sounds silly, but the bed was very low with an awkward wooden surround. Needed care when getting into/ out of bed especially in the dark. Ok for younger folk I suspect.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff, including the owner!
Cons: Too short a stay!
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lots to love about this lovely guest house, I was in the attic /loft conversion with Velux window above the bed which was nice for views and fresh air. Also loved the bright decorations. The conversion was new and very clean with pretty furnishings, great shower with lovely fittings and nice shower gel/shampoo/conditioner bottles. Other nice touches were the large bottle of filtered water refilled daily, the packets of cookies, fruit and Nespresso coffee machine. Lots of electric sockets including a few USB charging points. The staff are friendly and helpful and allowed me to put my freezer pack in their freezer to keep my cool bag cool swapping daily with a couple of their own freezer packs.
Cons: I didn't like the hall light that came on automatically between the bedroom and bathroom but this is part of the regulations on fire safety - it came off and on a lot but I had the advantage of having the top floor to myself - sometimes both bedrooms on that level are let separately, so I would have had to keep my bedroom door shut. It was a struggle getting up all the stairs with my luggage but don't really mind that to have the view.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Vic was extremely helpful throughout. Nice modern bathroom.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Modern, clean, comfortable bed, complimentary fruit and water. Everything provided basically.
Cons: No parking available although host gave us a complimentary parking ticket for the first night - which was very nice of him. Shower small and could do with a riser rail, but works fine. I'm struggling for negatives - it's a great place and tremendous value.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great stay. We were made to feel very welcome and Vic was amazing. He even "made" a parking space for us by moving his car. The room is great, good size, really comfy bed. Facing the front there is a beautiful bay window with a sofa and - at a stretch - a view of the sea! Its so close that you can make yourself a coffee in the room and drink it while its hot on the beach promenade!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed two nights in this lovely old hotel, arriving on the hottest day of the year but it still felt relatively cool and comfortable inside. Our suite was a good size, with easy chairs and television in the sitting room, a very comfortable bed, and well-equipped bathroom – shower was excellent (easy to use and spacious) and towels big and fluffy. We looked out on the pleasant garden and enjoyed watching rabbits nibbling the lawn. Breakfast was very good, with a great choice and all perfectly cooked. Dinner, which we ate at the hotel on both evenings was also very good – grill night on Thursdays is also great value. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Small bar area, with a particularly wide choice of gins served. Location is perfect too, sited next to Pevensey Castle’s ancient Roman wall – the castle, English Heritage, is well worth a visit.
