Nice location, very warm hospitality The gym was not available, the internet connection was not working properly
great food and beautiful greenery around the resort bad smellls from the drains, lack of well trained staff in the spa and general areas.
the cleaning of the room, the staff was very helpful. the breakfast was very good.
This hotel is truly exceptional. The premises (stone built) were previously used as a monastery and were recently restored. The final result is outstanding and very romantic! The food is scrumptious and its resident spa treatments are really amazing. One suggestion: book your spa treatments prior to your stay otherwise you run the risk on not being able to have them during your visit. Apart from the fact that it is a bit pricey, there were no bad points. But, hey, we all deserve to treat ourselves once in a while....
It was very quiet. You can go there and you can rest. I think that the prices in the restaurant are high. Although the food was excellent.
The location is suggestive, and the hotel construction is perfectly integrated in the landscape. A mix of modern, design, rustic, stony cottage. The dinner at the hotel was delightful but it costed exactly as one night in a double room with breakfast.
If you like a smart hotel in a rural non-resort location this is for you. High standard of accommodation and services. Food excellent though the advertised half board for 20 euros was not available. 3 course a la carte dinner is about 40 euros without drinks. Friendly and attentive staff. The hotel had opened a few days before my arrival after extensive refurbishment. Building work was mostly finished but electrical and landscaping/gardening work was ongoing (though not too disruptive). Difficult to find in the dark after late evening flight since hotel sign not yet erected (It is just before Miliou after turning off main road b7) Wifi works in main building but not in garden bungalows. A wired network point was installed during my stay but no network cable was provided. There was no safe in the room and no minibar. Rooms sparsely furnished (minimalist?) with no chairs in bedroom or at desk in lounge, no pictures on walls. It is not clear why this is an adults-only hotel and yet its advertised facilities include children's pool and children's play area. There is an undeveloped adjacent building site which is not very scenic at the moment.
relaxing ,peacefull, meals too much expensive,
The rooms were very tidy and breakfast was excellent There were a lot of bees in the pool area. Not very good if you are allergic to bee stings. Other than that, everything was as promised.
the food was excellent, compliments to the chef, location and the relaxing and friendly/relaxed but efficient atmosphere
The size of the hotel was big and the room also very spacious! Some of the personel was very friendly and try to be helpful. Breakfast also good, not great! The porters never helped with suitcases! The most peronel are foreigners speaking differnet languages making it impossible to comunicate. Cleanningnes was not good, and anything had to do with food In the room, at the pool or at the restaurant not good at all! Finaly I got sick and they didnt have one pill for the fever or the stomach pain..
Near Beach. Do not think it should be 5star, not comparable with other 5 star hotels.
Staff were very helpful especially since my booking was lost and they had to find me a room at 5 A.M. when I arrived and was suffering a sense of humour failure, nfortunately the reversing truck alarms at 7.30 A.M. didn't help my frame of mind. Hotel is generally "tired", carpeting to the rooms was very dirty, and some time since the rooms were refurbished.
Close proximity to the beach, the beachside catering and the friendly and attentive staff Key cards not working properly
Excellent service and very high quality of food. The only problem of this hotel is location: extremely far from all. That's an excellent hotel but if you don't have a car or a motorbike, be aware that you have to wait for a taxi (outside the hotel is nobody's land).
My workshop was in the same hotel
Beach, jet ski, friendly and helpful personnel Bathroom very old and not maintained, light of letters of the hotel name were broken; in general this hotel does not suit a 5 star (have seen lot of hotels)
rooms are not as modern as expected
Larnaca does not have any business hotel, and after several other trials, this hotel turned the best of the league of resorts in term of comfort. Room is large, bed is comfortable. And time permitting, pool is very nice and the sea clean and warm for a nice early morning swim. Breakfast, included, is large and varied but very industrial and tastes nothing. Next time I shall bring my own honey. Fruit juice is diluted concentrate from a machine. Although the room was renovated, this remains a basic sea resort so do not expect for something cozy.
Pool and beach are very good very old for a 5 star hotel with poor maintenance
The staff was very helpful and gentle. Every room has to have its own ambrella booked for all days.
The availability of the staff I was satisfied of the service
I really liked staying in this hotel. I liked the atmosphere, its location and its beach. Our mini lux was very good for our honeymoon
I Work and Travel around the Globe. Doing this I expierenced many Hotels. The Lordes Beach Hotel has a wonder Clean establishment on the Beach. It it close enough to Larnaca for shopping and nsight seeing. It is a thirty minute drive to Iaya Nappa (SP) for a perfect Day Trip. The Staff understands the Hotel Gusets and are very Friendly. Great Hotel! The Cleanliness, The Staff, The Hotel Cocktail Bar/Lounge with entertainment. I cannot say enough about how Great the Staff treated me.
In our one night stay we were impressed by the professionalism of the staff and the quality of the breakfast. Surroundings and garden areas in very good order and well maintained. N/A
room tidy although cramped with 3rd bed but as it was free of charge very good value, facilities good, pools good, the staff were attentive drinks and food were extremely expensive is the only minus point, sun loungers always taken by 7am and guests would not use them till 10 or 11am sometimes later, which seems to be the case in all hotels, although the last hotel we stayed at in Lanzarote staff would remove towels from sun longers early in the mornings if the guests did not use immediately. another english tv channel would be useful
The excellent daily continental breakfast and selection of food items no.
facilities, breakfast was excellent, beach was quite nice cleaning start at 8 am... breakfast ended sharply 10 am, these days are building activities next to the hotel - noisy
location ideal base for exploring area not enough toilets near to pools/bars etc
I think if you have small kids and don't want to leave the pool area, the place is ideal. There were decent restaurants within walking distance. The child's playground area looked nice. I found the beach in the area was not so nice, and not as good as the one in Ayia Napa, which is not convenient to get to by bus. Renting a car may have helped. I would have liked nightlife options in the area.
Everything was ok Not really
A quiet resort, well furnished, located close to all facilities
Everything was perfect. the food, the room, the location and especially the price. Surly the most value-for money hotel in Paphos.
Very clean, very good value for money. We were more pleased with St Nicholas than what we had been when staying at 5star hotels.
The staff in the restaurant were fantastic, and so friendly.. The hotel is luxury, and of an excellent standard.. A car is a must though.. Will definately be booking here again to stay in the near future!!!
We stayed in a two bedroom townhouse at St Nicolas and we were very pleased with how modern and clean the accomodation was. It had all the equipment in the property that we needed to make us feel at home. We will defintely book again. The only negative comment I could give about our stay is that we could not access all the facilities advertised eg the gym & sauna were locked.
The pool and the balcony where we used to have our breakfast were great. The air-conditioning had an annoying time switch that we had to press ever 2 hours (so during the night we pressed the button and then we were waking up every 2 hours to press it again and again because it was too hot...).
Excellent facilty and good staff None
we enjoyed all the facilities offered by the hotel. the ideal place for any kind of holiday the absence of instructions in case of fire or any other emergency state
having a happy girlfriend that she loved it so much it made the holiday wonderfull everything was so nice and wonderfull i recomended to anyone and we will go there again
st nicolas residence is a nice hotel for relaxing unfortunatly the floor and the bath room were dairty
Everything was clean. The receptionist should try to offer day trip offers and also where would a good place be to eat or to visit. The breakfast could use some more options.
nothing exept it was close to the airport never come again to this dirty hotel
Good value for the price.
No hot water from 11pm to 6am when checked out
Convenient for the airport. Swimming pool looked very attractive. Breakfast was adequate. There was a lot of noise outside the hotel during the night.
near to airport inferior bathroom, breakfast poor: perhaps this reflects the price.
Very helpful staff at reception. Good cable TV selection. Wi-fi connected in room, but better in lobby or on balcony. Close to airport with good bus connection. Nice Pool. Good Value overall. Very basic breakfast with boiled eggs, toast, juice and coffee/tea. About 20-30 minute walk to town where there are the most shops, restaurants, bars.
service was excellent
non easy to find and not well sign posted from main road
The location is good, the Staff was ok,equipment of the room is completely suitable for a 2 star hotel. The breakfast was very, very poor. It would have been nice minimum a few fruits or vegetables. But nothing. There isn't refrigerator in the room and that would be necessary in this area..
With a perfect location by the lanarca international airport, the hotel incredibily offered the most vast room and furniture equipment I had in my tour of multiple cyprus hotels with 4 stars
The only thing I liked was the location. Other than that there was not much to like. I had to pay extra for the AC...the electricity only worked witht the key in. Beds were horrendous!!
the pool on the roof No internet access. You have to pay extra in order to get it in your room. The Hotel is far from 4 star rating. It's equivalent to 2 star hotel. Decor is outdated.
I was bothered to complete a booking form on arrival at 5am.
close to airport AC making a lot of noise
Friendly helpful staff, clean modern hotel ideal for the town centre and Larnaca sea front. Advise early for parking.
The breakfast and standard of accommodation. The hotel is directly opposite a Nightclub which combined with the very lound air condition makes a goods nights rest a bit difficult.
Complementary bottle of wine and fruits are a good surprise. Value for money is great. Parking is not convenient
I have tried 5 hotels and it is a fact that you cannot expect the best standards in Larnaca. But for those who wish a small and trendy hotel, they provide it at a good price. Rooms are adequately sized (not large but not minuscule either), shower is very design, bed is good, airco is remotely controlled, you can open the window, it is quiet if you take a room at the back, service is friendly, and breakfast is not bad at all for Larnaca standards. Towels are not puffy.... their website is poor.... No pool or gymn.
Hotel was hip and funky and staff was very welcoming ..
The breakfast was ok compare to the room, and central situation in Larnaca The room was quiet dirty and smelling bad, acces by car was almost impossible
I liked the decoration, the facilities offered and the cleanliness of the room and lobby.
Fantastic location; great contemporary hotel design; very friendly and helpful reception staff; Too smokey ... but this is Cyprus!
Garden, pool, breakfast variety, proximity to warm sea with very low incline. Garden bungalows are great, and even regular rooms have a good terrace. Beds are good. Juice at the breakfast tastes like the most horrible concentrate. Make sure that your room does not face the breakfast restaurant.
Facilities, comfort, beach view, however I did not like having to wait until 3.30pm for my room!! Upon arrival I was told the room was not ready and I went back to reception a total of 4 times before I was allocated a room.
The hotel has a private beach and a nice breakfast with omlets. But the juices was a disaster. The hotel is a bit old and you can feel it from the smell in your room and some old furtinture. Also the wi-fi is not free of charge and works very badly. The sauna and djacuzzi is also 10euro per day.
Nicely placed with views of the sea, Main Dual Carriage way very cloe by allowing easy routes to main hotspots on the Island !. House Keeping Staff shouting/Speaking loudly outside room doors at 0730-0930 in the morning (No consideration of customers who wish to sleep in) 2. No Kettle, Tea/Coffee etc... in rooms. This is standard in most hotels internationally from 3 Star upwards.. 3. Services and facilities book in room is out of date, it highlights Snooker room etc is available, yet there hasn't been one for some time. 4. TV viewing, a charge to watch Sky channels, should be included in the price and not as an extra cost. Altough it's designated as a 4 star I would be happy to put it in this group in comparrison to many 4 star hotels I've stayed in Globally. However I'm sure with improvements it would be worthy of a 4 Star rating.
hotel grounds and area dress code for piano bar and louge - no soundproofing of rooms
The staff were wonderful, and the hotel superb the theme nights in the restraunt were a bit restrictive in choice
Beach front access and environment are excellent, convienent for access to the main road(s), cities and airport. Sun rise is not to be missed. Access to local resturants within easy walking distance. No night clubs or rowdy clubs/pubs. No free wi-fi, Spurrous claims for mini bar which I did not use (resolved), charge for mini bar being in the room (resolved). Hold on credit card after leaving the hotel last time (for 10 days) paid cash this time.
sea view, breakfast
Clean refreshing pool and friendliness of staff Food could have been better
very old furnture in the hotel, old carpet .stuff not supportive
Beach Location Folklore dancing entertainment on Saturday night Thin sheets, grubby blankets and soiled bed cover Poor service at breakfast. Coffee machines were often out of order and not serviced right away causing long queues. Most fruit at breakfast buffet was out of cans Use of the in-room safety deposit boxes comes at a charge The only daily sports activity was Zumba which was pretty lame and lasted only 30 minutes Rooms look very tired and need a make-over
The pool area was nice. Everything else. Checkin/desk Staff was rude at every meeting. Internet was only free in the lobby and if your purchased code did not work, they made you purchase another. Hotel rooms are very dated, beds are hard and blankets were gross.
The location was very good, the rooms were fine for the price, and we had everything we needed in the room. The following morning, I ran into some staff, and thay were so sweet end friendly. The hotel is, in my opinion, a very charming hotel with very good location. I'm a student, at I think the price was fair (but could always use it cheaper of course). Nothing, I didn't like. Everything was either perfect or acceptable.
The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. The hotel staff were quite friendly and helpful. The location was central to all the Larnaca shops, the sea, and the landmark church, Ayios Lazarous, the Fort, and Turkish mosque. No complaints.
Everything, location, clean, staff (especially Elena in reception) were very helpful. Small comfortable refurbished character hotel in the shopping area of Larnaca, overlooking St Lazarus church & square. Only 2 minutes walk to beach and many restaurants
The location next to the Larazos church is great, a bit hidden from the busy touristy boulevard. The building is nicely renovated, with respect to local architecture and with good taste. The room was small but fine. Good service by email and upon arrival, for example arranging us a taxi for the next day and allowing us in before check in time. No hotel atmosphere, but the idea of having one's own small apartment in the middle of town. Tea and coffee facilities were provided, as well as fresh water in the fridge.
Location, just next to the amazing church, very close to the main promenade Short reception working hours. It closes at six. You must make a booking a bit in advance in order get to know where the key is left.
Very friendly, they let us choose rooms, they were very helpful. Wireless(didn't work)
Excellent location. Excellent value for money with comparable service and attention. Would definitely stay there again.
Friendly staff, even called me in uk to explain late arrival key availability.Modern, clean room in old refurbished building. Free parking close by.Overlooked small garden - there can be few green areas like this in the old part of Larnaca. Adjacent to beautiful church. Good restaurant immediately opposite. Overall, very good value basic accomodation in good position. No towels in room first night - with no staff on duty. Room not cleaned on first day. Disappointing but did not spoil our overall experience.
The location was excellent and one of the staff helped us with an internet issue. I can't think of anything else we liked. Plenty. There was no reception as you would expect to find. I had been sent an email to tell me where the key to our room was but as I did not have access to email at the time this was useless. A text message would have made more sense. The Alkisti brochure says that all its rooms have a view over everyday Cypriot life. Our window was half a metre from a brick wall, with no view whatsoever and virtually no daylight. The fittings in the bathroom (towel rail, toilet roll holder) were all missing but they were replaced on our last evening. Poor selection of TV channels for British viewers, esp. when the majority of holidaymakers are British. Housekeeping was very poor. Toilet was cleaned and wastebin emptied (left in the middle of the room).
Good location, very near beach and resturants Room were not cleaned during our stay but we did get clean towels
