The room was clean The bathroom was small and cramped
Staff was friendly Bed was uncomfortable
Location. Proximity to baseball stadium, football stadium, and Wells Fargo Arena. Rooms very clean. No free breakfast. A bit pricey. If you arrive on the same day as an event at any of the stadiums, parking lot is used for the event and charged out. As a result, the parking lot gets VERY full, and they do not reserve a specific area for the hotel guests. As a result, you can end up parking in some strange places (ie. the aisles), and you need to move your car after the event in order to feel comfortable with where you parked.
Close to the stadiums which is why we were there. Nice rooms, plenty of space and friendly staff Can't think of anything
The place was clean, and the location to the ballpark can't be beat. It was expensive. It was expensive, they charged me more for the room than I paid for on Kayak, and the bar to grab a drink after the game was a joke. They had no drafts, their bottle selection was garbage, and when we got the bill for two common "domestic" crafts (Sam Adams) the bill was $16. We thought we were still in the park.
Excellent views of the Philadelphia sky line to the north and citizens bank park to the south. The plumbing was rather loud. You could clearly hear the water flow anytime anyone in a nearby room ran s shower or flushed the toilet.
Nothing it was a horrible night sleep I got bed bugs in the hotel
Location was perfect in the Olde City of Phildelphia. One block away from Independence hall. You can hear everything, the wall were thin.
This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at!! The room was unclean, cramped, paint peeling off the walls, mold in the bathroom and not cleaned until we complained. No elevator!
the location was perfect for seeing the city it was quite loud, the payment process is sketchy (pay at a convenience store down the street)
For the location, the price is pretty good This hotel is a dump. Some people call it character, but that's nonsense. You don't automatically get to say something has character just because it's in an old building. Dirty carpets, broken down beds, busted blinds, missing ceiling tiles, leftover dirty laundry from previous guests, showers that don't drain, and a staff that's only there a third of the day are not "character" features. They're poor maintenance issues. Don't go here unless you're strapped for cash and plan on spending very little time in the room
Nothing The rooms do not match the pictures what so ever. The bed for sure had to have bed bugs and the restroom had roaches. I didn't even stay for a few hours before I left. Reminded me of a room out of AHS.
The location was in the heart of the Old City District. The room was very small and did not seem to fit the rate.
I loved their location and the vintage feel the old building gave. It would have been great to get an idea of the history of the building and why it was still standing after so many years.
The location of this hotel is about the only good thing I can say. It's right in Old City and just about anything you could want to do is within walking distance. They were very misleading about the size and the amenities. Our "seating area" was a wooden chair. It was not very clean. The worst part though was the mouse that was sharing our room... Very disappointed in this hotel. Will not be back. Ever.
Very loud music from restaurant downstairs
Hotel was great. Everything we needed at a great price. Location is perfect. Would definitely return. All was well.
The location is excellent and the rooms are comfortable. The service was absolutely horrendous. The people at the front desk made absolutely no effort to greet me.
Very convenient location and helpful staff. My room had a window without a view; therefore the room did receive direct sunlight. As I didn't visit the city during vacation, this was not a big drawback.
The front desk staff was very courteous. They answered any questions I had and helped out alot. The price was very affordable. The location was perfect.
The nearness to the center of the city 1. The girl at the reception was not kind, she was always on her personal phone. 2. the elevator was out of order and we were at the third floor. 3. The room was not clean, the light near the bed was out of order as the hairdrier too. 4. They had not cleaned our room the second day even if they came in our room to leave the soap. 5. The breakfast was very poor and the people in the hotel was very very strange (I think they were homeless). 6. The hotel parking was in a public parking but it was full...
Popular attractions are literally only a 15 minute walk away. We went to the observatory, reading terminal market, the constitution center, the ice skating rink at Dilworth park City Hall, and saw the Liberty Bell. All without our car. Parking at the garage across the street is $15 a night, a definite steal. Don't forget to get your voucher stamped by the front desk! The staff was very friendly and eager to make our stay enjoyable. One gentleman at the front desk was kind enough to provide us with free passes to many attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, keurig and water bottles are made available as well. I will definitely be back next time I am in Philadelphia. The one complaint I had about the hotel was that it was often times a bit chilly in the rooms. Our stay was for two nights and each night we had to ask the front desk to raise the heat (which they happily obliged).
Hotel was clean and well staffed. Room comfortable and hotel a close walk to south street, liberty bell, indepenndence hall and other landmarks Very small hall ways, elevators, and small rooms. Also they only give you a parking discount so you will definitely pay to use the parking garage across the street. The discount is 15 off, but if you park over night its 33 so there is this extra $18 for an overnight stay.
The staff were all super friendly and eager to help. The rooms are small but plenty big enough to sleep and have some walking space. EXCELLENT location. Wonderful restaurants and nightlife steps from the door but not overly noisy. Historic areas were within walking distance. Old City was walkable, but a bit farther than some may be comfortable walking however Uber is available within moments of request. The rooms have had a makeover, not the best quality contractor as some things are coming off the wall but overall the appearance is nice for a budget friendly hotel. No fans and no room air conditioner. The AC/heater is controlled from each hallway. Our room was stifling hot so we walked the two blocks to the Target and picked up a $20 box fan. The front desk girl turned the AC down even more which helped the temperature greatly and our fan kept the air circulation going and dried our hand washed laundry.
The staff was great. Always very helpful and willing to answer any questions. I didn't know that my room didn't have a bathroom en suite until I checked in and found out my bathroom was in the hall. The bathroom was tiny as was the room. One step from the door to the bed and the desk chair was touching the bed on the far side. Luckily I didn't spend too much time in the room. Also the tv had 2 lines running down the entire screen vertically. There was a bright green line running right down the middle of the screen!
I liked the fact that it was centrally located to downtown Philly, within walking distance of all the sights The elevator was broken and we had to walk up to the third floor to our room
The check out! When I checked in the front desk clerk said I'd requested a room with a separate bath. I had no ide that was an option . I was checked into a room where I had to leave and use a toilet and shower ateound the corner. I felt as if I was in a closet. I was glad it was a one night stay only. The fight between the two front desk clerks was not entertaining and then to top it off the fire alarm went off.
The heat does not work which in turn taught me the flu
close to airport water temperature in sink and shower was set to near boiling with no way to adjust it; showering wasn't possible with it so hot as it burned our skin. SPG discount of 5% for booking wasn't applied to our account since we booked through third-party (only because SPG made our account inactive and required us to call customer service to restore); faucet was covered in orange mold; shower window was covered in black mildew / mold. sad that Marriott is now merging with SPG as we have status with Marriott & wanted to check out an SPG hotel, such as the Aloft. Had a horrible experience with SPG so far.
The low price and convenient location determined our choice and the airport shuttle service met our needs for arriving at and departing from the hotel. The cheap paper "glasses" and foam "cups" rather than the real things.
The accomodations were very "high tech" and interesting. Cloxe proximity to the airport. No
Proximity to the airport
The staff suggested that we move to the 5th floor because of an"event" going on on the first floor. Some time during the night, people arrived in the room next to ours. They were quite loud.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. There seemed to be several parties being held in the building. It was extremely loud with children and adults who didn't seem to settled down until after 2 am. Also there was a lot of banging on the walls.
The reception was efficient and friendly. the staff excellent. the room was generously equipped and very adequate to my needs.
There was a front desk clerk by the name of 'Angel' who was so charming, thoughtful and talented. She belongs at a W or a Four Seasons. The thermostat in the hotel room was either all or nothing. We were either cold or sweltering. When it was running, it was very loud. Otherwise this was a great property, great overnight and very good value.
Rooms were clean. Did not get the room I paid for because they sold out of rooms that said where available online. I understand things like that happen but I was not apologized to for the inconvenience and was felt to feel like it was my fault for using a third party website. Had I either gotten the room I paid for or was apologized to i would have given a higher rating.
I was charged even though I called and cancelled immediately. The hotel manager has not called me back and I still have not received a refund even though I did not stay there.
The vibe is fun and the atmosphere was hip and fun. The bed was hard . The tv didn't work properly . The pool was dirty. Breakfast was horrible.
Free shuttle to the airport every 20 minutes or so
Staff was welcoming and very friendly. Room very comfortable. Loved the free wi-fi
All staff encounters were great. Well done! Especially Sadine in Players sports bar. On a very busy night with little help, she was superb. In hotel dining options which was important on an icy winter night. Comfortable bed. Paper thin walls and loud heating/AC unit makes for a restless sleep. Earplugs recommended if you are sensitive to noise. Food at sports bar received luke warm at best. As said, it was a busy night due to many flight cancellations and staff appeared thin. This may or may not be the norm.
The booking company switched my hotel when I landed at 1145pm and made me go to a different hotel, but then took over 30 minutes to confirm the change with me. As a result, i had to go to a new hotel by myself which was not as good as the one I booked. It was a terrible travel experience and underscored why I never use third party sites like this to book hotels. I will never use this service again, based on my experience this week.
The rooms were really nice and the beds were comfortable. The hotel provides free airport shuttle. Nothing
was close to the airport The girl at the reception was not nice she even seemed to be bothered by us when we asked information about where to find a gas station , was not clear enough and most of all not kind at all!
Fairly clean, good service. Walls in the rooms are thin - bring earplugs if you don't want to hear what's going on next door...
I loved the comfort and quietness the hotel had.i think that ahuttle should take people to sight if they don't have one. just something to consider for a fee.
The young man who checked me in a 2:30 am (11/9) was very friendly and helpful. He is deserving of some recognition.
BED WAS UNACCEPTABLE
The airport shuttle service and front desk staff are second to none. Nowhere have I ever felt so important mattress is ready to be replaced
Professional staff lovely accommodations!
The hotel is under renovation but things seemed clean. We got a new room which was nice. Very comfortable bed! Danielle at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. There is just something about hotels showers. They had great water pressure but a not great shower head, it sprays a wide circle.
The outside was nice. The room was small and not what I booked. They told me there was free parking them charged me when I planned to leave my car while going out if town. The carpets dingy. There was a lot of construction going on.
i want my money back! Bad services...rude receptionist, place is dirty and smells funny.
Close to airport Place was dirty, primarily because of renovations hallways were full of dirt. Not at all what I expected from a wyndham hotel. Room was simple and adequate. Breakfast was simple, but dirty and not really a place I wanted to eat in. Staff were very nice
Hotel is near the airport with a 24 hour shuttle. We had an unexpected extended stay so took advantage of traveling into the city. The train stop was a short walk away and an easy trip into central Philadelphia. The desk staff (Danielle) was very helpful with directions and city tips. The room was basic but had comfortable beds and a decent shower. Hotel is showing a little wear and could use some freshening . Breakfast was a low point with few choices that were mostly carbs. However, it was something to stArt the day and breakfast room opens early (530) for those with early flights.
I felt welcomed as soon as I arrived. They were helpful, could order food into the hotel and have it delivered to the room. The bedroom and bathroom was large and comfortable. Anything I asked for they gave it to me and was so helpful. I will stay there again and I loved it very much. Thanks Microtel Inn! You're the best! ~N.
For the price, it was a decent place. They were renovating, so there was places in the hall that smelled like paint & missing carpet, but we had one of the renovated rooms & it was nice, clean, and did the trick. Plus, we left at 4:30am to catch a flight & not only is there a free airport shuttle, but they had breakfast out before we left, so we were able to grab a bite. Night lady was abrupt, but not rude. Morning employee was pleasant & offered us breakfast & coffee. The only thing I really didnt like was the position of the TV, which was to the side of the bed.
Great value for the money, room was much nicer than I expected for what I payed
They charge a fee to keep ur car while away. Could have stayed somewhere that was newer and better maintained for the same money
The staff was very nice and friendly. They must be doing a remodel and the staff made an effort to get me in a newly renovated room. The hotel was going through a remodel so it was a bit messy. The room was very small and not very many amenities. The breakfast was small. The hallways were hot and they appeared to have no ac running in the halls. The ice maker on the 3rd floor did not work. The alarm clock in the room did not work.
The room was clean, lots of hot water, and comfortable room. Overall very happy with our stay. Breakfast could have been better quality and had more options. ex. butter instead of 'spread' for the toast. However it was certainly adequate and there was plenty of food. Also the shampoo was shampoo conditioner instead of a separate shampoo and conditioner.
Rude guy who took your credit card. Room dirty, hallway dirty. Nasty place
Getting to Center City was very convenient and the driver to the Eastwick station was very good and courteous. I did not see the renovations as a problem and the front desk was very friendly in explaining the details of the hotel.
Staff was very friendly and helpful Bathtub had draining issues
Very welcoming and gracious night manager. Free breakfast was not good. Price for the room was high enough that the breakfast could be improved. Poorly prepared hot food.
This hotel was everything we wanted: clean, comfortable, and close to where we wanted to be. Breakfast was good. Room was spacious and very clean. i would return to this hotel if I came back to Philadelphia.
Beds were very comfortable, staff was friendly, rooms were spacious and hotel even offered free wifi, free breakfast and free parking. Great deal! nothing
The staff was VERY accommodating. We needed a pack and play for our grandson and they brought one for us no charge and even offered to set it up. They also brought him some milk when we ran low. Wonderful staff. They even told us that when we return our rental cars that if we call them from the airport they send someone would bring us back to the hotel so the we didn't have to worry about it beore our 7am flight. Price was a little steep.
Room was very clean, the bottom of my 5 yr old's socks stayed white. Comfortable rooms, friendly and accommodating staff, no parking fees, laundry facilities, nice complementary breakfast. All the water, tea, & hot chocolate you can handle. Quick easy drive to UPA Hosp. We will stay again.
That it was really close to the airport. No fridge in the room.
Room was comfortable-free parking No help with baggage
Breakfast was great just it was no meat and no close restaurants
Located less than a mile from the airport with a shuttle that ran 24 hrs a day was a super convience. The workers at this hotel went above to make sure I was comfortable.
this hotel is very clean and nice, but it is difficult to find in the airport traffic. the directions on the map are incorrect. there should be more directional signs to help you find your way, especially with all of the construcion at the airport.
I had a great stay the only thing that bothered me their was no meat during breakfast great place to stay and family friendly
Staff was exceptional - super friendly and helpful! Love the smoke-free environment - rooms were neat and clean - nice size bathroom. Breakfast was teriffic! I'll be back - we loved it!!
We stayed at the Fairfield in overnight because we had an early flight in Am - the room was very clean, check-in and out was a breeze and free breakfast was extremely adequate. We would certainly stay there again!
Excellent, friendly staff, but pictures for property are from newer Fairhill properties. Nothing extraordinarily wrong, but the bed sagged, the fitted sheet kept popping off my corner, and the mattress pad bunched. The blackout drapes gaped and we had to put towels over all of the blue and green electronic lights and at the bottom of the door in order to sleep. They had eco-friendly signs asking you to hang the towels; we did, but they changed them anyway. Parking was free and adequate. We also took advantage of their free shuttle service to the airport where we caught the easy and affordable rail service into Philadelphia. There is only one restaurant in quick walking distance to the hotel that serves lunch and dinner. The hotel has a simple continental buffet but no other breakfast options are nearby.
staff was pretty friendly and helpful. Rooms spotless. Very comfortable beds. Because of its proximity to the airport, i expected this place to be horribly noisy, but was surprised when i experienced a quiet night
Overall this was a good place to stay. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was probably my least favorite because they had prepackaged frozen breakfast sandwiches, with a limited variety of fruit &yogurt; other hotels of similar cost per night have better breakfasts. There was some noise in the hallway that could be easily heard in the rooms. It was in a convenient location and we were able get on & off the freeway easily.
My stay at this hotel was unexpected after many flight problems the staff of this hotel was great, they turned my bad day into a great one
There was absolutely nothing that I liked here. Phone lines down. The name of the hotel doesn't match the name on the outside of the building. The parking garage smelled of human waste. There was no shower curtain. The bedding had cigarette burns in them. The doors didn't lock properly. It rained. So did the ceilings. The AC was stuck on. I genuinely expected Dexter to come in and kill me. I didn't sleep.
I loved that the hotel was cheap and in the greater Philadelphia area. I didn't like that it was dirty, my TV didn't work, there was no iron or ironing board, no shampoo/conditioner, and it was an old-school key lock which made me feel a bit less safe than typical.
Everything about this hotel was absolutely horrible. The staff was so ignorant and rude. Hotel needed extreme updates. Room was so dirty. Had maintence knocking on our door at 7am telling us to clean someone else's fried chicken trash that was in the hallway. This place is the real life American horror story hotel. This hotel should be closed.
Nothing!!! Condom wrappers found on the bed, smells like poop in the room, floors are gross and dirty, found rats, no heat, no tables or chairs, People selling drugs outside, people yelling at night really loud, no working TV..
They didn't even change the bed sheet
Gentleman at the front desk in the morning was very patient and accommodating Sheets and blankets were scratchy and appeared unwashed, toilet didn't flush properly, AC fluctuated between extreme heat and cold, walls were paper thin, door didn't lock properly, no one was at the front desk in the evening, music playing all night in the hallway, phone didn't work, no one answered the phone when we called, felt very unsafe and feared our items being stolen
Price last minute on a weekend. This hotel is a mess. I tried to check in on the phone as we were stuck in traffic and wouldn't be arriving until after midnight. I waited on hold for 15 minutes because they were "changing staff". When we arrive we drive past it twice because it doesn't look like a hotel. There was some ghetto party that was letting out when we arrived and it was like walking into a zoo with people out front yelling profanity and all of them drunk. The parking was blocked by these same folks who were too drunk to get their cars successfully out of the parking lot. The lobby is straight out of the 70's and you get a key fob with the room number on it (nothing screams patron security). The rooms are dull and out dated. No modern emeritus (not even the basics). The shower tiles was proven in several spots. The shower towels were ripped on the edges and frayed. No additional pillows or towels to be found anywhere. Oh and the toilet was clogged when we arrived and glogged again during our stay (not from our doing). In the morning before check out we were awakened by what can only be described as another ghetto room party in the room down the hall. Screaming, yelling and laughing all heard as clear as day from several rooms down the hall. I have received significantly better service for $170 and much cleaner and safer accommodations! Probably could have spent half the money at a bargain chain hotel and felt more taken care of and safer. Save your money if you are looking at this place. It's not worth $50 and you spent three times that bc it's in the city and they jack the rates up on the weekends.
ABSOLUTELY NONE ROOMS UNCLEANED, BROKEN A/C, NO FRIDGE, SMELLY ROOM.. VERY UNSATISFIED
Clean, friendly, safe and convienence Hard to find on GPS
Clean rooms, comfy bed, close to airport with a shuttle The staff wasn't as informative as I'm used to. I had to keep asking questions that hotels just usually tell you. I was never told the shuttle to the airport only runs every 30 minutes which ended up making us late to the airport. Outdated bathroom fixtures and millwork.
Staff was very rude and not helpful at all. We had many bags, and no one willing to help us with our bags. Any time we asked about information regarding the area, the staff's responses we negative and unhelpful. In the morning when we left for the airport, no one available to help us with our many bags in the cold and snow, and staff was unwilling to unlock lobby door to make transport of our bags easier. Will never recommend this hotel or stay here again.
I liked the location and the spaciousness of the 2 bedroom unit. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good for a free breakfast. Our room needed a remodel. It was clean but not super clean. Wall paper was peeling off. Carpet raised up in spots. The staff was not overly friendly or helpful. It seemed some workers were staying in the building. Not sure I felt very safe.
They charged me $70 extra for two nights. Supposedly you can't take the food from the dining hall to your room BUT there's kitchenettes in the room
Very dark parking lot, hard to find because the address is listed incorrectly almost everywhere. It's off Island Road.
New years eve. The rooms need to be upgraded. The pull out mattress very thin and uncomfortable. Not the cleaness feeling. House keeping should take more time to ensure the rooms are cleaned. Wash cloths had stains. Rooms need a little more TLC
-We checked in an hour early. The room wasn't cleaned yet. It was taken care of easily. -One of the ladies at the front desk is great! -Small but comfy rooms. Sliding door lets fresh air in and if on first floor easy loading of car. - Buffet not worth your money. Service is SLOW (and they just bring silverware and drinks!) and they wanted to charge us 23.00 even though its like a continental breakfast. Oh and on here it says Free Weekend Breakfast...not true. Ours was only free because the room wasn't clean so we got coupons from the front desk.
I would like to have had a little more time at this hotel. The lobby is a group of personal living areas where you can sit and watch TV by yourself or visit with others. There's also a small, but adequate dining area and bar. Fresh popcorn all the time. Best of all was the boarding pass availability. We had been in a very expensive hotel earlier in the week and couldn't get anything printed. This was so easy. We felt very comfortable. Almost like home.
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Pool area was well maintained and quite enjoyable. Staff was generally courteous and when we needed assistance in our room, we got it efficiently. The bed was incredible! Wow! Great night's sleep -- extremely comfortable. Very reasonable price and I would recommend this hotel for the two night's my daughter and I were visiting Philly.
the comfort of the bed--nice mattress. In general the room was very clean and new. The staff was very polite and helpful. The free transportation to the airport as well as the train station was a bonus. The train station is also an easy walk. Breakfast was little.
Very nice spacious room for one night about ten minute commute from downtown Philly. Indoor pool was great retreat from heat and patio area very comfy. Didn't have free breakfast but there was a Wawa store just up the street with good affordable breakfast. Hotel had washer and dryer but took a couple times to dry clothes. Overall hotel was good for the night and no noise from airport
My stay was fine. The only critique I have is about the pool. The pool and the room was not properly maintained.
My husband and I visited Philadelphia to attend the Penn Relays. The hotel was in a great location which was only 10 minutes away from the Campus Park and Ride parking lot, where the bus dropped us off less than a block away from Franklin Field. The hotel room was cozy, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were very helpful.
I arrived hungry at the hotel at 10:32 PM. Resturant and Lounge were closed for the night. Great breakfast though.
Best place to stay near the airport. Everything in the hotel is set up for the travelling public including computer area where you can check email, print boarding pass, and check your flights. Numerous seating areas to stretch out and relax while you watch a little TV and have some popcorn or have something to eat from the kitchen or bar. Relax by the pool. Work out in the gym. It's all right there. Wish we had had more time!
We stayed here for one night prior to our flight to Jamaica the next morning. The hotel was clean enough. The beds were very comfortable. The restaurant has alot to be desired, food is nothing to rave about. BEWARE: IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON FLYING OUT OF THE AIRPORT AND YOU DRIVE TO THIS HOTEL THEY DO NOT HONOR THE COMPLIMENTARY PARKING IF YOU ARE NOT A REGISTERED GUEST. THE WEB SITE FAILES TO MENTION THIS, JUST THE FACT THEY HAVE COMPLIMENTARY PARKING AND A FREE AIRPORT SUTTLE. WE WERE VERY DISAPPOINTED AND HAD TO DRIVE TO THE ARIPORT AND PAY TO PARK THERE ANYWAY on top of our room rate. Next time we will definitely saty at a hotel that offers park and fly!!
It was the best night stay ever. The beds were so wonderful and soft. Would love to get the same bed at my house. Would tell everyone that needs to stay in philly to stay at this place.
OVERALL, I WOULD GIVE THIS HOTEL A C+, WHICH PUTS IT ABOUT THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. JUST NOTHING TO REMEMBER THAT REALLY SENDS A SPARK. THE STAFF WAS SO-SO AND EVERYTHING ELSE WAS THE SAME. LIKE I SAID, NOTHING SPECTACULIAR, BUT BETTER THAN OTHER HOTELS IN MY EXPERIENCE...
I was working in Einstein main campus, and this was a convenient location. Parking was well lit. Meet with bullet proof glass between concierge. Continental breakfast was cereal and pre-packaged muffins.
receptionists are standing behin bullet proof glass, not a welcome and safe feeling. We booked a non-smoking room, but were put in a smoking room. after a too long discussion with the personnel, we got a non-smoking room, which was better, but still smelt like a smoking room. breakfast room and pulic areas are far from clean.
While it was close to the event I was there for, it lacked in some areas. The sheets were clean but definitely itchy, my bags had been gone through, and you only feel safe leaving your car in the front lot even though there is few spots. As a whole it served its purpose and I have definitely seen worse. If it hadn't been clean I would have just left.
Free Wi-Fi and within easy walking distance of a variety of restaurants. The location was appalling for those without a car (one bus ride and one train ride to get into the city centre). The hotel did not provide a safe in the room, and the managers were ungracious & surly every time I asked to put my valuables in the safe box behind the desk. The carpets in the room were a disgrace - didn't look like they'd been vacuumed in a long time! On the whole, this was not what we had come to expect from a Day Inn hotel. It was a very disappointing experience.
Well where to begin......no internet! Absolute dead zone in more ways than one......one positive thing if you consider it. The TV sort of worked. A true ghetto experience.....parking was caged in and just trying to pull into this motel was mission impossible. The lobby itself said a lot, unwelcome and cold. The lobby desk was enclosed also with a thick sheet of plexiglas with holes in it to speak to the concierge. They did little to make my stay compatible, they didn't help with the Internet and the key barely worked. People were checking in for 3 hrs only!!!!! Da bomb, hookerville hotel! I did not get any happy ending. Hopefully I have no bed bugs or std from scabies!
Nothing I had to check out early. The non smoking floor was filled with cigarette smoke. There was no ventilation. The heat had to be shut off because the cigarette smoke was coming through the heating vent. The room smelled like a dirty toilet. Management/the front desk did not try to fix the problem. There was a party going on all night in a room a few doors down and we could not rest. My throat began to close up on one side. I had a migraine so I called a cab and checked out.
One entrance/exit. Most of the parking was located in the back of the hotel, so lugging all my belongings through the entire hotel just to get to my car was a hassle. It would have been nice if they provided key card access to the back "fire escape" doors.
fair price, near where i was visiting to much noise from other guests , doors slamming, tv's blasting, local uncooth savages from philly kept me up all night.!!! next time i will call police
very quite reasonable rates and comfortable no all was fine
check out I "liked" the extremely poor "continental" breakfast
The area was horrendous. And the room was missing the iron and mini fridge
Drove past it to find another hotel- in a very sketchy part of town.
Cost of car parking - 6USD per day. Room tax 9.26 USD per day. Occupancy tax 9.26 USD per day . Grand total of 24.52 per day on top of the advertised rate.
it was near the airport the bedroom decor was tired and it was expensive for what it was. There wasonly conditioner and body lotion, no other toiletries. The choice of menu in the restaurant was expensive and limited
It was a really nice surprise to get such a luxurious room for such a good price
The bed was comfortable. It had a clean environment
Room was spacious and provided room and privacy for my daughter and I. Work out (exercise room) was good; breakfast (dinning area) was relaxed and food and service was good.
Bed was clean and comfortable Room and general facilities were not well maintained, dirty, or even non functioning.
Bellmen, shuttle drivers very friendly and helpful. Shuttle to and from airport every 20min, train to city center from airport $7 one-way, room very comfortable. Front desk staff was very unfriendly. Room telephone rates were a total rip-off; information provided was inadequate. It was stated that long-distance was $4 per call plus $0.55 per minute plus 85% over operator rate. I was billed $20.43 for a 2-minute conversation.
comfortable bed, extra bed for my colleague, shuttle services
Good No much to eat
extremly clean and nicely decorated -
Very convenient for the airport.
Very convenient. Being renovated right now. Old furniture in rooms. Really needs an upgrade. Proximity to the airport.
The rooms were nice, and the staff was fantastic. The nightly reception, and breakfast. Construction in lobby areas, cable went in and out, no towels by pool even after asked front desk.
very comfortable beds reservation for King bed was not kept
For a $200 we got stincky room with water stains on the celings, definitely overpriced.
very nice hotel and the staff was great
They walk n the room be for check out right after getting out the shower the food was bad and didn't tas good at all Clean
My room smelled like decades of cigarette smoking had occurred there. It was very concerning and smelled terrible. I couldn't get a good nights sleep.
Good service, good food, pool, and space
Was not satisfied at all would ever stay there again, no. No complimentary coffee, coffee shop or whatever you call is poor, and expensive. Old looking and needs updating.
The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. We checked in late (nearly 2 a.m.) and she was energetic and kind. The hallways and room are a bit grungy. It didn't seem as clean as it should have been. We waited a long time for the shuttle to pick us up.
The room was clean, bed very comfortable and staff were polite and helpful.environment quiet.
A convenient and comfortable airport hotel. Pillows inadequate.
The young lady at the desk could not have been nicer, warmer or kinder. She was the highlight. In addition, this hotel has a lovely lobby and is very convenient to the airport with a shuttle service every 30 minutes. Unfortunately, this hotel was beyond dirty. Someone else's hair in the sink and tub, films of dirt on the carpet near the walls, and a terrier-sized hairball of filth emerging from the air filter in the conditioning unit. The ceiling looked like it had fallen in and been hastily patched. The furniture was lovely, and new, but placed inside a room that had all of the charm of a gas station restroom. I would expect better from Starwood.
We checked in after 9pm and were gone by 4am for an early flight so we were only here a few hours but I was pleased with hotel. Clean and comfy. Shuttle to airport ran on time and the front desk was helpful at Checkin and even more at checkout...my son needed a pencil to do homework on the flight and the clerk found one but had to run to the hotel next door to have it sharpened, talk about above and beyond at 4am on a 20 degree morning!!
Hotel is close to the airport After checking in, I went to my room only to find that it was already occupied by another person. After returning to the lobby, I had to wait for about 20 minutes before being there were no more available rooms and went to stay somewhere else.
I liked that it was so close to the airport. I did not like the high cost of keeping your automobile there for an extended amount of time. Way too much.
Staff were nice, comfortable bedding, great location away from the heaviest PHL traffic, but wth quick access to downtown. No complimentary breakfast, wifi not immediately available, room was jammed, had to push pretty hard to open it.
Close to airport, friendly and helpful staff
The staff were really friendly and helpful. nothing
